Unfortunatly though that’s just the way it is ? Id like that PVP tribal armor myself but it’s not in PVE for some weird reason. Idk what too tell you call it what you want but it is reality.

Well if they toned it down ( not to the point it’s static looking) It would not clip through light armor coats and weapons I mean Realisically They would not wag there tail if they are packing a giant sharp greatsword on there backs as it would be cut. A new animation for the tails that is more cat like and less cow like would be better. (cats don’t wag there tails like dogs)

I personally just want more zones to explore and personal stories to do. Though I am completely opposed to raising the level cap. That’s what I would like to see in PVE along with New Dungeon’s.

Then give charr a arm cape like raziel from soul reaver ? idk id be willing to not have a cape as long as they fix the tail. If a dev want’s to move it im fine with it. ( Or a Tabard lioncloth See Heavy T3 leg part only make it cloth with guild symbol there problem solved)

But blaming charr for not having capes while problaly is accurate sorry I rather have charr than cape’s though just saying.

OP to be fair most guys don’t wear skimpy clothing whilst many more female’s do. Im not against it but it is not sexist at all it’s realistic.

Firstly I’ve always wanted to play as a charr since GW1 Beta and I love my Charr character in this game but the clipping and armor stretching is driving me crazy.

Can you guys MAYBEE at least make the tail swing not as wild and active. I mean I know my charr is a beast and his tail problably could IRL bend and defy the laws of physics and bend my flame legion armor leg peice and all because he is pretty awesome but can you like IDK cut a hole in the dungeon armors at least for the tail or make it not wag so much then maybee people would actually make more charr.

or IDK heavy T3 leg peice is a good example of how to make charr leg peices, the tail through the weapon I can live with but I can’t handle watching that armor bend like that anymore PLEASE FIX IT THANK YOU CHARR POWER !

No it’s rocket science you get 50 people that have to have a buff to damage it they do not dodge and die and stay there instead of WPing back thus you have 10-15 players that could be dpsing the boss wasting there buff thus causing fail to happen. I’ve done the hologram fight 4-5 times yesterday and we crushed the knight’s. They are scaled to hard for the six minute acheivment now though I will agree.

No I don’t want to grind moar gear like wow I just want to do this event with good players, people that can dodge correctly and know how to use the WP instead of laying on the ground dead expecting to be rezzed wasting a buff and DPS. Give the casuals there own map to waste there time failing on and give people that actually want to succeed in the event there own map plz thx.

It’s not that the fights are hard it’s that dodging is rocket science for people.

Why exactly isn’t it in PVE ? I wouldn’t mind having this set ? a dev response on this would be appreciated.

Breachmaker blows up knocking down the wall to dominion of wind, Thus opening it up and making Tengu’s a playable race. Ruins of LA becomes the starter zone for Tengu who fight off the remnants of scarlet’s armies as a starter zone !

I’ll admit a few things.
1. I HATE elves, and before this game came out this is how I saw them.
however I have too say they have grown on me since then (no pun intended)
but I do agree they get way to much attention how about showing us big hairy charr some love as they are after all the coolest race in the game. :P

I did not get to do the whole story due to the fact that I moved and or financial/personal reason’s but I have always really liked this game a lot. With that said I have missed out on several event’s in the LS and would like an opportunity to play through them get the acheivments ect.

I think it would be a REALLY good idea to not exclude myself and or new player’s just now buying the game which I’ve convinced several people from my job to give the game a shot. They however have no idea what is going on with the Living story.

So I propose you Instance the whole first season so that they can be played at any time. During Season 2.

I played up until SAB 1 last year and stopped for a while. I recently came back during Origin’s of Madness. These last two events and after doing some research the others looked much better than Flame and Frost and finding refugee’s.

The whole Refugee thing left a bad taste in my mouth and now I wish I would of just stuck with the game after that because I missed a lot of stuff that looked pretty cool and now I can’t go back and do it again.

My real only complaint about LS is there are no re run’s.

I have a feeling the breachmaker is going to fall over explode, Since it is still running currently totally nuking whats left of LA and blowing down the wall to Dominion of winds thus opening it up. This would then make DOW the new main city in the game and make LA the starting zone for Tengu’s fighting remnants of Scarlet’s forces.

Level 80 is high enough of a grind, we already have ascended gear for better stats can’t we just have new content for the sake of having new content without having to grind lol10 maor levels ?????

To the OP, eventually everyone would get good at the dungeon’s and everyone would look the same in a week which would result in more complaining. The grind to get dungeon armor isn’t TOOOO bad though it does require some time and teamwork.

Gonna edit this and also add, What if the nightmare court ISN’t the dragon’s corruption but the sylvari exercising there free will ? I think this would be far more interesting.

Other than Bubble’s it’s the only dragon I can think of without an army that is attacking us in one way or another in this game. Everyone seems to think that Scarlet is trying to wake it up what if instead she is trying to kill it ?

What if the slyvari are indeed this dragon’s army and the pale tree is it’s champion and or the nightmare is not caused by it I think this would be far more interesting seeing as all the dragons are not freind’s with one another and or there origin’s and all that have yet to be fully explained unless im mistaken. But the Jungle Dragon is the only one other than bubbles ( but he is in cantha) to not have an army or minions of somekind. I think Scarlett may have made her own pact to kill this dragon which has been on our side all along in the shadow’s underneath LA and she intends on killing it with that drill and taking it’s power for herself or something.

idk I remember during the refugee thing. hearing that was where they where gonna go found a new city at. I was thinking we could have server wide event’s to build something there so the player’s would feel more connected to it ( even though it’s totally scripted). We could call it the petrified karka or something ???? And since it’s an isolated zone would could have asura gate’s everywhere for it so that wouldn’t matter as much. Other than lost shore that place really has no purpose now and to me just seem’s like a unfinished area of the game.

It would be epic if they perma destroy it make tengu’s a playable race and open up some new area’s of Tyria or start opening up cantha or elona. along with new weapon’s and perhaps class’s and skill’s

How about a new city there ? That’s what I thought was gonna happen last year after Lost Shore. Which I personally enjoyed a lot but have’nt played much since then because I moved and stuff.

I always thought if they ever did this to LA that that would be where the new city would be or that there would at some point be a city there. I mean Southsun is sort of in the center of the map it’s isolated we have a statue of a dead boss there which we took out a little over a year ago. That zone to me just seems wasted other than farming karka’s

Telling me to get a guild is not going to solve the issue when guilds are more or less the one’s figuring out the exploits and telling everyone about them. And AI is a big part of the so called reason people are exploitting it. So that does need fixed. Sounds like your jaded about something and think your issue is more important than this. Id say there equal so no idea what your getting at.

Or you could just take turns running dungeons and gear everyone up but that is a good idea. A better idea would be universal tokens though. I do recall seeing multiple sets of the armor im getting for COF with diffrent stats on it though.

Entitlement Generation does not understand that some people like to feel like they acomplished something by overcoming a great challenge. I mean I could of bought a game genie back in 1989 to beat Ninja Gaiden on Nes which is a very hard game or I could not suck at the game and earn my ending. Generation Entitlement think’s that they should get armor just for showing up because the game is hard.

The point is pretty self explainitory, I do not want my account to be banned for being guilty by association, and I want too see these people punished for there actions. But I doubt it will happen as they tried to be HARD once and gave into the massive QQ fest that was the karma exploit.

I am feeling your problably right though since nothing has been said or publically done about it yet if they even decide to do anything about it or not. But that does not make what you said credible at all. I have a feeling they are going to be mass banning people or rolling back peoples accounts after the next patch or shortly. But I could be wrong would just like Anet to respond as to what action they are taking if any, But I doubt they will if they decide to do nothing as then everyone will just exploit the dungeon for the gear with even less care in the world than they already have now.

Im writing this in the hope a Dev reads it and responds to it, Im not interested in people defending there actions by making excuses for doing what they are doing in COF.

Firstly, I cannot say that I have not benifitted from the action’s of other players in this dungeon but I have been a voice from the beginning trying to discourage people from cheating there way into prestige armor. There are so many bugs and to me being so into finishing the dungeon and clearing events and trying to get things done. I have overlooked a few things such as the lava room which I was puzzled about till I realized what was happening.

Then there is a certain class with a certain skill that can do a certain something in a certain place. As well as members from my group sneaking into a place and bypassing the ending completely. And Ill admit at first I questioned if this was one or not as this skill does seem to do this and I hesitated once and now regret not just leaving as it felt shady.

I’ve begged and pleaded with people to just play it right, Im a semi Hardcore player and I want to do the dungeon the way it was ment to be done. All I hear though is people raging about poor programing and design and other whiny entitlement attitudes about it.

Pretty much at this point I give up and it does seem like the exploitters are right and it seems A net is doing nothing. I would gladly give up everything I got from COF 4 of 6 peices of armor I have STRUGGLED to try to obtain as exploit free as possible just too see the dungeon fixed correctly and people who are deliberatly screwing the game for there insta gratification loot punished Severly for the unneeded stress I have been put through and all the time I have wasted only to be kicked or be handed dirty loot because they went ahead and did it anyways despite my objections.

I will not run COF again until it is properly fixed and working as intended because I do not want to get perma banned as a oldschool GW1 player my Hall of Monuments is not worth loosing over this armor set. However I feel I am being punished and am also worried about my account due to the actions of other players. I problably should of left the last few groups I was in but I just stood there and watched in discust. It is becoming Seethingly fustrated for someone like me who just wants to play the game right.

I would like Arena net to specifically state what they are going to be doing to these players because they are Legion and many pretty much 90% of them have poor attitudes and no respect for the TOS at all and feel justified in doing it despite the fact they agreed not to and feel that nothing will happen to there account at all.

I only hope if bans do come I am judged fairly because at this point I am even unsure if I deserve the loot I got because of some things I was slow to catch onto during a lot of my runs.

Could not enter COF today with party, I would get inside or someone else would get inside and then no one else from the group could go in with me Server Magumma

Pretty sure in the State of COF exploit thread they said it was indeed and exploit and they where working on it if you look around. the question really is what and when are they going to do about it.

^ they run the game and keep people from doing things others do not like which is well within there right since they are the one’s who made it to begin with.

It’s there game You agreed to there rules when you logged in to play it you are not entitled to anything.

It doesn’t matter if it’s enjoyable or downright impossible the TOS say’s specifically that you are NOT to exploit ANY game bug for personal gain.

When you first signed into the game you agreed to this.

Well I don’t like to give up at all. If it made me sound a bit whiny I apologize but I have switched servers 4 times and have pretty much tried to find like minded individuals and there are slim pickings. I have been ridiculed mocked cussed out as some people are taking this to the extreme. I have reported quite a bit of people for acting childish because I simply do not want to risk my account doing something I know is wrong while all I see are people making bad excuses about how it’s a jumping puzzle.

I do not want them to be perma banned but I do want too see them lose all the gear they got by using the exploit as I think that banning them forever would only prolong my quest of getting my set even more.

your better off not even going to it at this point honestly. It would be great though if they would hotfix it or close the dungeon off like I said because pretty soon no one is going to be left to even group with.

This was the biggest mistake Arena net made IHMO, If they followed through with it this problem would be not exist.

The point Im trying to make is The dungeon needs to be fixed because no one is running it the way it was intended to be run. And I have been getting at least 5 badges off the first chest until today which is a legit gain then I leave the party if the do it. It was 80/10 % in favor of the exploit until today.

maybee I am a bit fustrated and it is showing, If that bothers you I do not know what to tell you other than like everyone is doing it and they are problably going to be ban hammering a lot of people whenever they get around to it which they could prevent by just closing the dungeon off completely or hotfixing it.
So I was pretty much doing nothing wrong and attempting to get people to run it correctly. Which at this point I give up

Im being punished by the community for wanting to not exploit the dungeon by not getting groups. people telling others I am reporting them for doing it and not getting to do the dungeon as intended by the devs so I would say I am being punished for not using the exploit.

quite a bit of them sunshine. Though it would help if party chat did not dissappear and I could get all of there names without forgetting. Im not asking for people to be banned but I want too see rollbacks and the dungeon fixed.

Oh they better at least remove all the gear and armor from the people who are doing it despite knowing better and making excuses for it anyways.

I Have not been able to get a group all day that is not doing it, it is that bad now. I would say bans are pretty extreme but I want to see LOTS of rollbacks when they do decide to fix it even if that means I have to give up the 2 peices I already earned without using it.

6 days now since I have been able to play the game the way I want to play it. I want to get the armor atm pretty much and nothing else. I like doing the dungeons but this exploit and the players abusing it are destroying my experiance.

Id like to know when this dungeon is going to be fixed, or some sort of response about this as now I can’t even get my 5 legit badges from the first chest since there is a new exlpoit everyone is doing to get 30 badges now.

How many more days do I have to be punished because you can’t hotfix the dungeon ?

Hello, First let me say I WANT that dungeon armor this is what I want to do in the game at the moment and nothing else. I also like doing dungeons a lot. With that said I cannot begin to express my seething fustratoin at how badly designed this dungeon is and how badly the player base is exploitting it.

I had no problems last week doing this before the patch, I could get groups and run it without the fear of being banned and was actually having a lot of fun, Now Im becoming increasingly paranoid with each run worrying if something bugs Im going to get perma banned for not stopping the whole dungeon and resetting it. I honestly cannot say due to how buggy it is that I may of missed or exploitted something by mistake also.

I have LOVED this game up until I started trying to get this armor, I do not have a problem with the price on it nor the difficulty of the dungeon. I do however have a major issue with the community right now and the fact that it has been this way for 6 days and nothing has been done about it.

I have switched servers 4 times because I am constantly laughed and ridiculed at when I leave a group after the first chest ( which they now can exploit right at the begining of the dungeon now) and I was at least able to get my 5 badges per group a few times before they caught on I was a as they put it “buzzkill” I’ve also put in several tickets about various bugs and exploits as long as players who are doing it deliberatly and repeatedly.

I find it extremly pathetic also that the players are trying to justify there actions of doing this so they can get there instant gratification skins so they can pretend they are good at the game when they are deliberatly skipping content that I would like to do to earn MY armor the correct way.

I would like to know exactly when this is going to be fixed so that I can actually play the game the way I want to play it.

So Arenanet I ask you how much longer am I going to be punished for not exploitting your dungeon ?
