Because so often all the npcs in dungeons die and if then a player from the group happens to get downed you always just rez the stupid useless npc…. very annoying

depends a bit though:
1 laurel per map might be too much
i think people should get 10 laurels for 100% world completition

and if people really want 1 laurel per map then i think the starter zones should be excluded… or people would just create new chars clear the 5 zones quick and delete and repeat…

with 2 black lion skins alone the 1000g can be easily gone…

now i for example like many different styles for every character i play (8+)
i even have usually between 2-4 different armor sets on every character of mine (with different looks so i need new weapon and armorskins and not just use 1 skin for 2 sets)

and 2 blakc lion skins are like 30% for ONE characters look maybe..
for example warrior has a fiery zerker style —> if i buy only pyro greatsword and sword the 1000g are almost gone already
still need a fitting longbow then and Axe and Mace

then i have a condi set different style new weapons
etc etc.

the same thing for at least 5 characters tha ti actively play atm (and plan to equip the other 3 more when i have materials)

as you see 1000g can be gone VERY fast! ^^

ofc you can get some nice skins with much less and if you have only 1 character that you mainly play thats a complete different story but me and most people i know have between 3 to 6 characters that they regulary play and therefor equip

if you then hunt for achievement slike collections you can count in a lot more gold

im more with what Malediktus said … maybe not 40.000 but at least 15.000g that i could use and immediatly spend

well something like a bank with 12 slots only for the siege (normal + superior) would work i guess…
like a second inventory but accountwide like a bank

they would have to cost like 800 gold or more though if it should have the same prestige like T3 cultural at game start because gold lost in value A LOT

this tonic is made only less and less useful:

1) it stays for only 5 minutes
2) it has 30 minutes cooldown??? why even? i never understood why at all this is necessary…
3) now it cant even be used in dungeons anymore … i really just dont understand at all why this change would be necessary or what it would be good for?

as far as i know it only works for 2x 1-handed weapons…

and you can just buy 2 masterwork harpoon guns to test that… should be possible to equip 2 of them at once
but im not sure if it counts for the achievement because i remember someone complaining that his 2 bifrosts didnt count…

and if you dont want a real dark black color then pitch dye is a very cheap (20s) color that is very similar to the black dye

if you really want it later you can easily farm the gold with dungeonruns in 1-3 days depending on how much/fast you farm it

the focus is heavily on pve

you dont need ANY pvp
you need a bit of WvW (not even much fighting just exploring… and runnign with the blob a bit for the few ranks you need to buy the gift of battle .. the badges can be aquired easily from AP chests)

i think its good so people try out every content…
i mean if they didnt even reach rank 14 in wvw yet … means they didnt even try it out so they cant say they dont like it ….

apart from that:

VERY useful for pvp/wvw —> positioning (out of bursts / to areas where players without blink skills have to walk around a long way to reach you for example…)

not so useful in PvE
… most likely only in open world to move faster between events

you cant use killshot build that good anymore …

cause you only use it in wvw with signet of fury you buld up 30 adrenaline but now you immediatly lose it again before you can use your killshot…

you always have to be in combat already to use your killshot successfully

I totally agree with devs that game is too hard so we have to make it easier for new players! But they forgot about one important thing. How new players can play the game when they dont know how to open it!

i loved the “grazden the protector” event in south of ashford
was a perfect event to train dodging a champ that has CLEAR animations and you can dodge easily (obivious ranged projectiles and a big cast animation for a fire storm)

also you could use the terrain (ruins) around to kite and use LoS to win the fight

then they nerfed him to veteran…
but he dies FASTER than trash mobs… WTF
he is in NO way veteran he is a trash mob …
why does he even still has 2 different attacks if he dies instantly from anything anyway?
so boring now

not only do minipets disappear as soon as a few players are around

they also have CRAP quality while they are there??….

i hate the problem with the storage for minipets that i had 2x or even more often…
luckily i noticed it early enough and just took ONE minipet from the collection everytime (its possible just press and hold ALT while drawing the minipet out – works for any stacked item)
but it means i can never take them out if i dont know where to put them/if i dont want to sell them….
thats sort of stupid…

also if you use the minis the old way by doubleclicking them they always appear but with that new minipet slot they disappear in open world like ALL the time…
so you cant even use them and this means i just made all my expensive minipets sort of useless if anet doesnt plan to change it….

i would love to have the possiblity to get the pvp llama in another way to:
1) its definitly not any prestige pvp reward since it has been given away to many viewers on twitch and at gamescom … maybe even the biggest noobs … so noone can use that argument
2) it is ok if it requires pvp
like a reward track … for example a reward track that can only be finished with real tournament games and only if you win them – no points for hotjoin, no points for lost tpvp games
—> then the mini still really requires some work and is not given out for free but at least not non accessible to so many people

i just tested with minipets that i had twice:

if i use “mini brown bear” for example with the new minipet slot and activate it… it wont even show in many maps and if just a few people are around….

if i use it the old way by doubleclicking it it works fine everywhere…

this means i just made my whole minipet collection useless by unlocking them for my acokitten cause i cant even see them and cant show others that i have those minis????

edit:
in open world it seems to disappear immediatly when just a few people are around
and in heart of the mists it doesnt even show AT ALL!

in Lions Arch though for example the minipet appears without any problem even if 20 people are around…
