So we all knew the trick to double tap F to loot chests, activate stuff instantly? Well it did get fixed some months ago, now if you do it on box of fun you get knocked back and down:P

• My budget for materials is 45 gold.

• Crafts under 10 gold will be a 10% price of total material cost.

• Crafts over 10 gold we can negotiate a set price.

• If you supply all materials it will be a max of 2 gold fee no matter how pricy item is.(Low cost lower fee)

• I prefer to use mail since that allows me to sell cheaper and same profit.

• If you do however want to use the TP, you have to dish out the 15% fee that is on the TP.

Big or small I do them all;)

How long does it take you to fix this? I’ve read posts on forum where they say they transmuted their legendary and then it appears with ORANGE writing, in my case it would be Twilight in ORANGE.

It feels pretty kittenty to equip a legendary weapon when you walk around and have you’r DPS spec on and knowing you do 15% less dmg..

Can we get an official response to this?

As we all know “ANET” does not have the “POWER” to reverse or put items into your inventory. I call this BS, I know this would been alot of work for you guys and I respect you don’t want to deal with it but atleast tell the truth. OFC you can access any account and do whatever you want, but you don’t have the recourses. I get that.

All legendaries will have the same stats as a ascended item, so if a Ascended weapon will have a infusion slot, then legendary will too.

The stats will be the same as the base of the weapon.

I just saw the great news for WvW.

But since January Patch that I started to have Culling in PVE for the first times, mainly in Meta Events where even Mobs are Invisible sometimes!

Then, does the end of Culling affects also PVE? Or do we need to get used to “Invisible Events” in PVE?

I would like only to say, that I know Culling is also also about our Computer… but, the game must think in every kind of PCs, not only with high-end Ones.

The initial release of this system will be for WvW only. There are additional complications we need to solve with PvE due to the number and variety of creatures on screen that WvW doesn’t need to account for. Later this year, we’ll be expanding as much of the changes to the PvE open world as we can as well.

Will this mean I will be able to see enemies FAR away? When I first heard about WvW I thought "Wow this will be epic, I will see battles going on far far away, but what is the reality today, is that you need to get really close to actually see enemies. I want to be able to see enemy players from across the water in borderlands, but I guess this will never happen…. I want to see enemies and plan what to do with them. I love roaming around in WvW with my glass cannon warrior and take down enemies that are behind the zerg.

TL;DR; Will this let me see enemies across the water in borderlands=?

Hello there. Just a simple question to ANET ^^ Will we ever see UW or FoW again?

I know you guys can’t promise anything, but I would love to hear an answer like “Don’t rule it out” or something similar. These two areas in GW1 is better than any dungeon in GW2, IMO.

I would love to see them return, although I probably would get disappointed since it would be way different than it was in GW1 :p

Thinking about this brings me back to the first time I stepped into UW, getting one shot on my ranger; WTF IT DID 500 DMG IN 1 HIT? As time passed on you had the trapper teams forming up spiking down the hard hitting Aataxe’s.

Then you had the Assassin speed clears that required 8 people to do.

Some more time down the line, you were able to 2 man UW. One A/E and one A/Me. Myself I ran people through this for ectos. Made around 1k ectos in about 3-5 months? It was alot of fun 2 manning UW and it also was very rewarding.

Then they “nerfed” UW and it was back to 8 man team to do it ^^ Didn’t really do more UW after that.

Just some good memories, I would love to see UW in GW2 again and hoping it will give me at least a portion of the time I had in GW1 doing it

GW1 was my first MMO and I don’t think I will ever play one that surpasses the fun and rewarding it was Sadly.

On topic, I haven’t noticed a bot in months. Although bot’s are more human like these days. With randomized movement etc. So you have to follow X player for some time to see if they bot or not.

As for you’r question about 4 rangers running around in a group no, they are gone.

Make the “sPvP” more casual an fun rather than wannabe esport that will never ever succeed.

Rather have a 50 player FFA than what we have now.

It is the big one cliche and most common armor in GW2… since the first couple of weeks where dungeons had no DR and people farmed and farmed for hours CoF 2. It is a big sign for farming dudes (in most cases). Lol I remember one of my friends stood up 15 hours in that place getting 3 full sets of armor in one day.

Ever since that day, it is the most farmed and common place.

Let me set you straight there with you statement. Yes, people farmed it. But it is way easier to get today than back then. I farmed my greatsword like that and it took me, I dunno alot of runs. If you want a greatsword today you can get it in less that one day if you commit for it. Back then you had to do like 50+ runs to get enough for 1 piece.(Don’t slaughter me if I’m wrong on that number, but I remember doing it non stop for several days, maybe even a week to get it.)

Eh, no it did not. No idea where you got that idea but that was not the case in GW1, Leader was leader only the leader couold make a officer the leader and only officers could make members officers.
I was 3 tiers
Leader > Could promote officers to leader, Kick officers, Kick members and ofc invite ppl.
Officers > Could promote members to officers, could only kick members, and invite ppl.
Members > Simply members with no power at all other than editing guild “Statement” ; A message on the guild tab.

Yes, them introducing 2 pieces of equipment that are a few % stronger made you quit the game. I CBA to do the math, but if you really quit over 1-3% stats, well no comment.

Someone said once, how does it HURT YOU that they made ascended gear? Did not read your post but I’m 100% sure you did not do fractal’s to level 10. SO how did them making ascended gear HURT YOU? A mere 1-3% stat difference compared to maybe 15% of the population? Ah valid point, guess that makes it okay.

Take a look back when you were leveling towards 80, this is not a endgame mechanic for you to get garunteed what you want. It’s meant to help you gear your character, not make it get you “end game” gear.

If you want to gear your character beyond rare stuff, you should go for ascended gear. Instead of spending 3-5g for a amulet you can get it for free, yes for free. Just enjoy the game and you will have it eventually.

Back to topic, everything can’t be about end game. New players/casual players should have a easier way to get some rare equipment. Sure they are only 30-40 silver each, but thats more free stuff than we got when leveling up.

Just my opinion about the boxes, think of them as help for new players not the ones that allready has it all.

I’m getting too old for these games I guess, just spent hours trying to get the skill point and vista for Breached Wall, finally got the skill point and missed the last jump.

I’m worn out, I feel I wasted $60 Christmas and worse, wasted hours on a Saturday night. MMORPGs have been my favorite type of games for many years. But the stores have ruined them, probably something in there that lets you jump further.

My conclusion is that an overly difficult jumping quest is not fun..not even a little bit….it’s just frustrating …and if the quests are this hard at level 25, there’s no way I’ll be able to play to whatever top level is. (BTW did you guys just do something that cripples you if a mob sneezes on you?)

This kind of difficulty is why I don’t play FPS. Well, I’ll go play a RT strategy game…love those, all thinking, no jumping….and try this again if I upgrade my system, it may be my computer is getting old too.

I did talk to a guy that coudn’t do the Halloween jumping puzzle, he tried for hours and then he tried it on another computer and did it in a couple of tries.

GW2 is supposed to be computer friendly but it really aint.

Currently, I finished my Twilight about a week ago, and let me tell you, it felt horrible spending a lot of money on those t6 and I felt like I “over payed” for it.

I did not have 350 gold in November, I had probably earned 200g all together by then. I had 50 gold to spend and I saw that the prices on the T6 were really low and I bought them.

I allready had 30-40 clovers at that point.

You are right, playing the game is playing the game. It’s like tetris, but do you really want to play tetris with unlimited height for hours everday? Doing the same thing over and over?

I want to do different things in the game, and if I decide to do different things I know I willl never get 600 gold. You could play WvW or explore the world for 1 year and not even getting half of the price a precursor is.

Is it that hard to understand? Make precursors HARD to get, but not for gold or a SINGLE currency. Make it spread around so YOU have to DIFFERENT things to get it.

Heck, even make it have to slay each dragon 100 times, 1000 tokens from each dungeon. That would be better than just having it for sale on trade post or the EPIC RNG that it is atm.

Right now, the other two money gifts cost between 200g-400g (this is a rough estimate). So all of a sudden 600g is a problem.

But, you know, it gets boring.. I want something different, it doesnt matter if it takes 4 months to complete as long as it’s not grinding the best way to get gold over and over..

So basically, now you are changing the point of your topic from being: “I want a precursor easy” to “make legendaries not a grind.”

As of now, to effectively “buy” a gift a fortune it would cost you 509.24g off of todays market and this estimate was done off of highest buy order (not lowest seller) and a person averaging average on the RNG of mystic clovers. You could effective add or subtract another 50g+ to that number.

Why doesn’t no one complain about the cost of gift of fortune? It is as variable to market movements as much as the precursor is.

Ill tell you why: its because the actual cost of it is effectively hidden, and players actually have to use concepts like “math” to realize how much it costs.

Hello, I just wanted to share my progress with everyone here. Although I don’t see myself getting it anytime soon.

According to the recipe I’m 3/4 on the way now, but I can never find myself to farm 600 gold…

I’m sure other people are in my spot as well, I think I’ll take a break from GW untill they fix WvW and add the Scavenger hunt..

I got a little sad when Colin said they were not actively working on the scavenger hunt. Which probably means it’s 3++ months away untill we will see it.

I was “lucky” enough to buy all the T6 materials back in November(I think) when they were way cheaper, that got me a good portion of the way to Twilight.

I just hope Colin and his fellow Crewe members get around to changing the way how you aquire precursors.

I had a laugh yesterday when I was leveling my Asura mesmer; Innovation beats imitation every day; That was not a 100% accurate quote, but so far on the way to legendaries it has not been that much innovation sadly

Hello. So I’m wondering if I buy an amulet with the utility infusion spot, can I put +5 agony on it?

Since all the offensive/defensive infusions are useless I wonder if I can put a +5 agony on it untill I have enough for one of the utility ones?

Your aqua mask only works underwater just as your helm works only over water.

The rings that drop in Fractals are either not infused or infused.

Not infused = +5 Agony resist IF you buy Agony upgrade for Fractal relics.

Infused= Starts with +5 Agony resists and you can add another +5 by buying the +5 agony for fractal relics.

I’m not sure about the back piece.

The max agony you can get on non infused item is 5 and infused is 10.

The Back Piece is the only piece that requires mystic forge to reach max resist. I’m not completely sure, but I think the max agony for back piece is 10.

I agree, GW2 lacks alot when it comes to “getting to know random people” like in other MMO’s.

I can’t even name a top guild in GW2 , since there really aint any.

This is a issue, every MMO needs some famous guilds/people.

Hopefully they will do something about this.

Make it one guild per character atleast. Or limit it to 2 guilds Account wide.

If doing the daily for you is a grind then I don’t think you really like the game that much. Yes the price may be steep, but if you really consider just playing the game then hunt for the last few things left before the daily resets a grind. Why do you even play? The daily is the same as it’s allways been pretty much, I even complete my daily some times now withouth even looking at it, unless it’s the crafting or Laurel part. And those two takes 1 minute to complete both.
