Hello, saw this a while a go and thought I would post it here. It’s pretty obvious someone at Anet had some extra fun when making the world map ^^

First pic you can clearly see an eye, eyebrows and a mouth or am I just crazy?

The second one looks like a hand hitting some kind of wiered creature with a huge sword.

What do you think?

I see alot of people agree and it’s just not me. I wonder when anet will do something about this.

I would like to ask Colin; Why do you think killing trash mobs is more important than killing veterans or champions?

If you don’t? Why is it the case?

Got my 2nd abyss from doing WvW yesterday, was just finishing my daily and found a unid dye.

Leaving aside the whole operant conditioning aspect of the new dailies…

Casuals, by definition, only have <10 hours per week to play, and often this means < 1 hour per day. Dailies take > 1 hour per day to complete. See the problem?

As a casual player, the first thing I have noticed is I’d need to spend close to 100% of my game time grinding the daily in order to complete it in a day/gaming session, not to mention the last thing I want to do with my gaming time is spend it doing stuff I’m not interesting in.

Grinding the daily? Well if you do not have time to do a daily I think you should not expect to get the highest tier of gear in a flash.

Hey there, as allways some people are not happy that they simply were not mailed their 6 Ascended items of your choice with this new patch.

Why should I have to work for something when they said it was no gear grind blabla. We have all seen it, maybe you agree or maybe not.

I know the game is based one a no grinding philosophy, and i just got the game recently and quite enjoyed it. but at lvl 80 when i try to enjoy the game by not grinding, exploring, doing fun stuff, etc, i feel that i don’t earn anything. I feel that im not one step closer to my exotic gear, my weapons, my crafting, and all sorts of stuff. So does that mean if i don’t grind i don’t get those? I know you might say well you can get that in time.. like in 30 days or more… but.. who’s gonna explore the game for 30 days with no sense of accomplishment, at the end of the day all i have without grinding is “well that was fun”..

They never said it would have no grind, what they did say was, you would not need to grind for gear/gear with better stats. If you are unable to get yourself some exotic gear, then yes you are doing something wrong.

Hey, I would like to know why Fractals does not offer a experience reward similar to other dungeons. Fractals takes longer, maybe as much as twice the time from a normal group doing path 1 in lets say CoF.

It does not have to have as big reward as CoF that is 170k XP at lvl 80. Maybe half of it?

I like fractals and I would love to play the game how I want to play it, thought this was ANETs policy.

But I guess I will have to suck it up and grind 120 skill points somewhere else…

Posting for another person that also cant access the forums, do you see the problem here ANET? Let them use the forums for 2 weeks after ban or something..

6. As a result of the credit, if people need to repurchase the game to get a new key then please tell them to do that. Also, provide them a status of their old account and what will happen to all of their old characters. Will they have to reroll or have access to the characters they have already leveled.

So yea, I want quests back. No I’m not talking about the kill ten rats quests. I would like to see quests back in GW2. Hard quests, long quests that offer great rewards.

Originally I thought that the three orders would send us on journeys like this. I thought if I picked a certain order I would get special missions all over the world. But no, whatever you pick you end up with a premade story line. I would like if you could implement quest givers for each order…

I know other people feel the same way, and I dont know exactly what I want, but I want some kind of quests that are epic and rewarding. ANET I think you have dug a whole where you said there will not be any quests in GW2 and you cant get out of it.

But what if you made GOOD quests, people would love them.

Just my 2 cents. Make some quests that are well made and people will appreciate it.

I wish picking a order would mean more than a different story line…

I like 24/7 block with the boxing gloves, probably will get nerfed. Maxed the title in the first day, was pretty fun.

Well lets be real, there are 5 races now in GW2, its not about only humans anymore. Did we see any charr or asura or norn in Cantha and elona? I cant imagine that 5 races suddenly decide to migrate to cantha in 250 years. Sure I would like to see cantha again, BUT a big BUT, I would rather see new areas with new lore .

Anet sets the price depending on the average player gold/income.

Also they have to make false ups and downs in the value to make it look a little bit real.

Simple traits have been bugged since release and still no fixes on those…

Those would be considered “buffs”, not “nerfs”, and as such, they’re on the backburner… or rainy day list.

I did not say anything about nerfs. How would it be a buff to actually being able to use the traits that you should be able to use in the first place.

I guess ANET does not care about warriors..

As you can see at TP the legendary precursor for Twilight is now close to 400 gold.

Is this intended by ANET? How can I ever get a legendary when the precursor price goes up allmost 10-20g a day?

Can we please get a certain recipe or somewhat more reliable than putting 4 random 70+ rare/exotic GS into the forge?

Oh and I love how you didnt do anything about the players that exploited the 65 lvl rare bug..

Before the game launched.. ANET said that legendary weapons would require you to travel around the whole world collecting/grinding different materials.

They never said you would need luck in the mystic forge or that you have to buy gems for real money for hundreds of euros to afford the precursor.

Gotta love how the exploiters never get punished.,

Oh they bought 500 rare weapons for 19 karma each, lets give them another chance.

But those who “only bought” 50 didnt get any warning at all.

This was not intended as a rage thread but I guess it kind of turned out to be one…

I would rather see the precursor weapons require 10k ectos than having it be a random luck in the mystic forge..

Yea, lets whine about the 1 hard DE in the whole game. deal with it.

So yesterday, I did CoF 2 times. I had a very good group, super nice DPS and bosses dropped maybe 2 times faster than normal groups.

We completed Path 1 in CoF in about 10-15 minutes we all got 60 tokens.

Then we did path 2 also quite quick and then we were awarded with only 20 tokens.(First time of the day path 2 and bam 20 tokens.)

Is this intended if we do 2 paths really quick or just a bug?

Heres mine, level 80 with remodeled berserkers exotic gear.

How about a asura with a shield that is 3x its body:P That would come in handy

I ran the CoF speedruns to get my Greatsword and I will say that it was not much fun at all. The dungeon bosses/chests needs to be more rewarding for people to bother doing it for other than random blue loot every single time.

I dont know how they can make the dungeons more fun and rewarding.

But as it is right now, the only thing you get out of dungeons other than occasional fun. Is the tokens.

The bosses should have a small chance to drop some exotics that are only availbe in the given dungeon. It should not be the armor you get from tokens.

When I went to Arah explorable the first time, I ended up with as little as 11 tokens since the last boss on the asura path was just insanely hard and we gave up after being in the dungeon for two hours. So tell me with the current system; if I really want the token armor from arah why would I not do the speedruns, even if they are boring.

Sure the full runs are more fun, but they are just not worth it if you are going for the tokens and the gear from the dungeon.

I dont know how they can fix this, but they should somehow.

Hi. This was not a problem in any of the BWEs or at the start of the game.

But now, if I open some of the menus in the game it reduces my FPS by up to 20-30.

It seems the friend list is the biggest issue. Reducing my FPS from around 50-60 down to 25-12.

This was not a problem untill this week. So I wonder if you have done something wrong…

Nothing has changed on my part./Hardware/Software.

This really annoys me, I cant stand the randomness/zerging of the 8v8 matches. It is just no fun at all for me, unless you are on the team that actually does this.

Even if you cap more points and win the game, the game can be really boring if the other team just run around stomping anyone they find.

I want 5v5 servers and I think others want it as well..

well using a macro that hits 1 key over and over again is not really a bot. That is why im asking about this.

Same here, lost 5 or 6 gold on the trading post. Clicked to buy an item, nothing happened so I tried again and again. Suddenly I only got back my coin for the first purchase and the next 5 are lost…

Support has answered my ticket, but only with a simple copy pasta answer..
