Ok so, I see no reason to go for ascended weapons in a hurry and I would rather save up for a legendary.

So my question is how much does it cost to level to 450 or wherever I can start refining ascended materials so I can sell them on TP?

And does this even have any profit involved?

This is all ok, no one forces you to join the groups that are listed as elitist speedruns.

When you do the dungeon for the first time you should do it with like minded people.

Here’s a novel idea, how ’bout players like you actually run people through the dungeon and teach them, instead of scaring them off with kitten like this. Then when you want to run you will actually have people to run it with.

Most players I know still haven’t even run all the dungeons after a year of solid play, largely because of players like you.

You’re like the industries that demand nothing but experienced professionals for years and years then can’t figure out why there are no more experienced professionals once that generation retires. People need experience, to become, experienced.

Why don’t you do that then. Lets spend 3-4 hours teaching 4 people their class and the dungeon mechanics.

Those people didn’t meet his “standards” and joined his party regardless. Kicking them is not elitist because he clearly stated what he expects to those who joined HIS party. The other 4 members have to abide by his standards the moment they join HIS party.

You need to look up the definition of ‘elitist’, because restricting or excluding a majority based on standards ‘you’ set, is near exactly how it reads.

Ok, lets say he’s a “elitist” because he wants a smooth run that doesn’t take 3 hours when he only has 1 and a half to do the dungeon.

Does that make him a bad person? I don’t get why people complain about people setting standards. Achievement points, is another matter. But most people that have very few of these are very likely to lack experience in both the dungeon and the game.

If you make a CoF P1 speedrun group, and 4 people join with condi builds. You are saying that the party LEADER does not have the right to kick?

It’s his party, he decides who he wants to play with. Kicking midway for bad performance is a whole other topic.

The funny thing is MF helps us to get more greens/blues (and ideally more rares/exotics and craft mats) but usually it’s just more blues/greens. But how many 10’s of thousands of blues/greens do we need to salvage before we have 300% MF to start enjoying that to it’s full? And even then how long will it take to earn those 10’s of thousands of blues/greens back lol?

It’s like we are paying in advance with what we will be earning back in future….

It’s a long term mechanic… It’s not meant to be maxed in 2 weeks. It’s meant to be a steady slow rise over maybe a full year for casual players. I don’t see myself ever bothering maxing it either. Currently at 55% and I have not bought any blue/greens.

It’s fine as it is. Karma nerf is justified, it was too much karma gained from dailies compared to playing the game. Although 600 karma feels very low. 1.5k I would been happy with.

If first: “story and all 4 paths of Arah with 1 personage” – i wrote about it in my first message.
if second: i did full story line and got world explorer with my other char.

They said they are working on tracking for which paths you have done. I would just wait till it’s out.

Jumping over which wall? I made it to lupi, just didn’t have time to figure out the fight.

The only ones I can find are months old and things have changed due to patches.

Did part two up to lupi today, but due to lack of time I had to leave and coudn’t be bothered spending the time to figure the fight out, since I would have to go anyway.

Would love also If anyone would want to take me on a guided tour.

Only path I’ve tried to solo so far is path 2.

Plan is save any rare greatswords I get, then when im done with all the other mats etc splitting my cash in 2, half for rare greatswords, half put away.

Recent interview Colin says you will be able to craft it this year. Or well atleast start to craft it. Let’s hope it won’t be time gated “complete” 75 dailies or something.

Tried to do the same with Weapons but when you switch from 4 one handers to 2 two handers it all goes to kitten.

Crafting a exotic with these atm, cost about a gold less than all the others. Except Claws which is only 20s more.

But you can buy so many exotics for way less than crafting them you’r self so who knows.

If a message comes out that level 80 exotics have higher chance then we probably will see a rise.

A side affect of this is that crafting for profit is going to take a huge hit, as those of us who enjoy crafting will no longer have an income stream because everyone who wants an ascended item will now HAVE to craft and therefore no longer buy their exotics or other gear.

Some of the materials you craft for the ascended weapons will be able to sell on TP.

These will be craftable once a day, thus giving them value. The price of these mats will most likely be a fair amounth higher than the crafting price.

As for crafting for profit, which exotic weapon’s can you do that right now?

Destroyer weapon’s do give you higher room for profit though.

Having ascended weapon’s on TP is just a bad idea, there will be too much supply and will leave no margin for the crafter.

Why even people list berserker weapons on TP atm, is beyond me. They are loosing money on it.

My geuss it’s uninformed people that don’t realize selling the materials would make a higher profit.

When the patch comes, all people with Legendaries will get an item in the mail.

This item can reset transmutes. So if you have transmuted you’r legendary you can turn it back to normal.

Pretty much all april, I only did SAB. It was fun, I got my Shield. But money wise I gained zero that whole month.

So I just wonder if we will be able to gain atleast a small amounth of gold from SAB #2 ?

I know I could sell my Shield, but I wanted that shield.

SAB was pretty much the only content I’ve done for fun since a few months after hitting 80.

Except for occasional WvW and PvP, and a dungeon here and there.

I had fun farming Gauntlet the last day it was availble. I got 30g that day, and it was a fun experience and challenging.

I’m not asking to be able to make that much. But just enough to feel that I don’t "waste " my time having FUN :P

I simply just want to atleast get the same gold as in a starting zone per hour.

I level my Alts through crafting, can be expensive but it only takes a few hours to go from 0-80 with crafting boosters.

I’m not talking about the best/fastest way. I’m wondering about the best few minutes a day way just to get a bar of XP or something across all alts.

I’ve played probably 95% of my game time on my main. Don’t really like using my alts except would be nice to get my thief and mesmer to 80 for WvW.

So, lets say you don’t really want to level. But you want some fast xp on you’r alts. What should you do?

Not counting daily, any dungeon or any DE’s in general.

Would the best thing be just to park a character on a place with alot of gathering to do?

They have around 300 employed. Believe it or not.

Pro tip, never do a dungeon with pugs unless you enter the instance first.

After the new patch I’ve never joined a dungeon(Arah) w/o being the guy that enters.

Sure, it’s not a fix for those who actually do kick people. But it will atleast keep you from getting kicked.

If they kick you, they all get ported out.

Tier 1 – 16s
TIer 2 – 20s
Tier 3 – 24s or 26s (Cant remember)

First off I’m just going to say it, this game doesn’t seem to want their players to socialize.

Was going to make a huge post, but I cba because, well w/e we say won’t happen anyway.

I’ll just post my ideas that would make GW2 have a better community.

• Chat that doesn’t ban you for pinging WP’s and talking normally.
• Player to Player trade > Even if you put a 15% fee.
• Collect on demand player trade.
• Different chat channels, so people could offer their services and people that don’t want to see it could simply remove the channel.
• Bigger groups for PvE.
• Guild Leaders and officers should be able to make squads: Have to purchase some guild upgrade.(Would be way cheaper than commander, but would be for members only)
• One guild per account.

Just my 2 quaggans. Never played an MMO with so little player interaction, except the normal stuff..(Being able to type, Being in a guild, join a party)

Oh and why can’t we see enemy player names in WvW? The best times I’ve had in PvP is when I meet the same players on a regular basis and remember them, can talk to them and you establish a bond, maybe even become friends.

So much anti social stuff in this game it makes me sick..

I’ve had problems with stuttering pretty much as long as the game has been out. It was one of the reasons I took some breaks, I came back forced my self to ignore it, and now with this update, I turned WvW culling to lowest and I was able to turn my graphics higher than before and have 80 FPS.

I love it.
