"Training" Mobs, What is it and STOP IT!!!

Passiflora.2047

I don’t think I’ve ever had a full-on train following me (lol!), but there certainly had been times when I wound up with 3 mobs or a veteran and then some on my squishy little Elementalist’s behind and have heroically, um, ran for my life. ^^; But if I see another player in my path, I will try my best to stay away from them, and won’t run to “safe” places like waypoints.

But on the rare occasion I accidentally do, well . . . so long as my health is out of the “going to die if I take one more hit” range, I will turn right around and help them kill said mobs. But honestly, if I accidentally run a couple of mobs into another player that wasn’t already fighting something, I don’t think it would be a huge deal anyway. People don’t just stand around AFK out in the world, y’know? If this was a bother to them, I’d say take it up with Anet and their spawning things on top of me. And I know I wouldn’t mind helping some person that was running for his/her life and had inadvertently deposited a couple of mobs in my lap.

The only time I’ve deliberately ran mobs into other players though is during DE’s, when somehow a bunch spawned on me while everyone else was on the other side of the wheat field, or what have you.

I just tried using a dagger for MH on my newbie little lvl 15 Necro, and I love it! It feels like I kill things faster. And I don’t find us squishy at all! Compared to my Ele, my Necro is like this wall of unkillable tanky-ness, it is wonderful.

I need an opinion about the Elementalist

in Elementalist

Posted by: Passiflora.2047

Passiflora.2047

The Elementalist takes a lot more work than other professions for often less return.

In PvE, we are admittedly weak in most situations and have to handle every situation (even the “easy ones”) with care.

That’s a pretty fair assessment IMHO. Ele isn’t a terrible, unplayable class. You can play it, and have fun. But, how shall I put this . . . I go places with my other characters that my Elementalist would fear to tread! Basically, it behooves you to adopt a more cautious play style with an Elementalist, for they are squishy and die very quickly if you aren’t careful.

That said, I still play my Ele. In my “head canon”, she is meant to be weaker and less powerful than her siblings (a Warior and a Ranger), so it works for me. And it is pretty fun to use all the flashy spells, plus in group situations Ele + staff = awesome.

Respawn rates

Passiflora.2047

I agree, some areas have too high of a respawn rate!

Today I was exploring in the Sylvari starter area. The area was empty save for me, as there are no hearts in the area nor active DE’s. There were two Risen in the tiny little lake I had happened into, and of course, when I engaged one they both started attacking. Before the second one was dead, the first one had respawned on me! Mind you, I don’t exactly kill things fast, but it can get ridiculous at times.

It is probably quite tricky to hit the sweet spot between “where are all the mobs?” and “gah mobs on top of me!”, but I do hope the devs will look into lowering some respawn rates. Or at least, finding a way to keep mobs from spawning on top of players.

Your level, class, and happiness rating 1-10

Passiflora.2047

31 Elementalist: 6/10
15 Necromancer: 9/10
14 Ranger: 8/10
On the whole, about 8/10.

Deductions for:

- My Elementalist is noticeably more difficult to play than my other two, yet does not perform any better, and in fact seems weak unless I go all-out and generally play awesome. This makes me sad ’cause my Ele is my favorite character, yet the world feels so much more dangerous when I am playing her.

- Some personal story quests are way too hard and need rebalancing.

- Underwater tends to be one big death trap due to fast respawn rates, mob density, and the ability to be attacked from all sides. This makes underwater exploring a lot less fun.

Good luck with your project! ^^

Sylvari T2 Light Cultural Armor - Color Problem

Huh, that is odd! I do see what you are pointing out there, such a shame considering the cost of the cultural gear. When I previewed that set on my Sylvari, I didn’t have any color issues, though now I see that was probably because my Sylvari is brown and I use green and pinky-brown dye.

Thief or Elementalist?

in Sylvari

Posted by: Passiflora.2047

Passiflora.2047

If you like both professions’ play styles, I’d suggest considering armor looks.

For showing bio-glow/skin:
female light armor > male light armor > female medium armor > male medium armor

I scrapped my male Sylvari Ranger because the medium armor frustrated me, it is almost all very buttoned up and full coverage on the males.

But, if you don’t care about that sort of thing, I hear Thief is very fun to play and good at PvP! And they do have some very spiffy hats.

And I hate to say it, but I find my Elementalist to be harder to play and less rewarding than my other two characters (Ranger, Necro), it is sort of like playing the game on a different difficulty setting. However I don’t have a Thief so they may be a hard class for all I know.

Best of luck with your choice!

Human Male run animation

Passiflora.2047

Funny; I find the Sylvari running animation to be quite funny whereas the human one is quite normal.

Same! At first I did think the human male animation was a little odd, but I chalk that up to the fact that I’m not used to “driving” a male character. It does seem very smooth and gliding, but it is ok I think once I got used to it.

My Sylvari, though, has a funny looking run animation. In an, “aww, you’re such a cute little dork” sort of way. Human males look a lot more . . . graceful, I guess?

As for running with weapons out, well, yes they look odd, but so do the females IMHO. I probably had “put weapon away” on a key bind within my first 5 minutes of playing. xD

I’d love it if they added these options:

1. Mute character dialogue (“I could outrun a centaur!”, “I achieve things; I’m an achiever!”, etc)
2. Mute character sounds (grunts and squeaks when chopping a tree, swinging a sword, etc).

Personally, the former annoys me far more than the latter, and I like most of the funny little noises my characters make. But — my sword-wielding female character usually uses a regular sword/dagger instead of a greatsword. Some of the sounds in that video . . . well, I think the OP got it spot on for the good, the meh, and the bad.

Ele underwater fighting. Avoid?

Passiflora.2047

I have the same problems in water, though in my experience, underwater is more dangerous in general, not just for Elementalists. It isn’t so much the abilities, for me, but the underwater environment setup. For example, that last heart I completed underwater (Sylvari starter area) was more difficult than the land hearts due to various factors:

1. Krait “patrolling” in pairs
2. Barracuda trios near certain quest objectives
3. Krait 1-2 levels above the heart level hanging around mid-water
4. Non-aggressive, stationary sea urchins that will intermittently start shooting out poison that will kill you in mere seconds.
5. Various non-aggressive mobs nearby to accidentally aggro
6. Lower visibility deeper down (murkier), easier to miss mobs
7. Mobs can come at you from above and below, unlike on land

We just happen to be a squishy and fiddly class to play, so IMHO the difficulties of underwater may seem magnified. My main problem underwater is how much easier it is to pick up unwanted adds. 1 vs 1 is no problem (albeit rather slow), but when I get a second or third mob on me — on land or on water — things can get hairy.

It is a shame, because I LOVE exploring underwater! So I do so very, very carefully. After completing an underwater heart though sometimes I feel like the whole lake is one big death trap. :P

If elementalists are UP why are so many people playing them?

in Elementalist

Posted by: Passiflora.2047

Passiflora.2047

In my very humble opinion, I believe it has to do with reasons not related to how “terrible” or “great” the profession is, but rather the aesthetics and “flavor” of the class.

Elementalists are a more classic mage type and seem to have a more versatile “flavor” to them than the other scholar classes. So, you want to play a caster? Mage? Light armor, robe-wearing class? Squishy in a dress with a wand? Your choices are:

- Mesmer: uses illusions, mind tricks, and sparkly pink and purple spells
- Necromancer: master of death, darkness, and generally creepy stuff
- Elementalist: uses spells with the elements of fire, water, earth, and air

Though they each have their appeal, IMHO Elementalist’s is somewhat broader in this regard.

And let us not discount armor looks, either. Light armor has some of the sexiest looking styles, while also offering more modest coverage like almost all of the medium armor styles have.

Just my 2 copper! I know that the concept of the profession, along with the beautiful and varied armor, is why I wanted to play an Elementalist.

2. Beautiful characters and great customization options. It makes me so happy to be able to create characters I truly like the appearance of, rather than just settling for ones that look “ok” and settling for gear that looks “not terrible” and “getting used to” them instead of loving them from the get-go.

3. That we can swim and go underwater! <3

4. How cooperation and community spirit are promoted by the way the game works. Being able to share everything is soooo much better than competing with your fellow players in PvE! As a “solo” player, I love that I do stuff together with other players all the time, yet I don’t need to make a group or formalize anything. It just . . . works.

There’s a ton of other things I like, but these are probably my favorites.

Why do waves of enemies come after me when I'm all alone?

in Personal Story

Posted by: Passiflora.2047

Passiflora.2047

IMHO some professions can deal with masses and waves of enemies more easily than others, and this is one of the big problems with story quests. It is like they used the most durable professions for most of their testing, and didn’t always take into account how other professions may have different strengths and weaknesses. This is purely anecdotal, and of course there will always be very skilled players that have few problems regardless of class or story selections, but reading this forum it seems like the most fragile professions are the ones that tend to have the most difficulties with loads of mobs in their story quests.

To be fair, I did notice changes to a couple of the very low level “holy crumbs why did I just get insta-killed by 5 mobs?!” quests I encountered in the betas, and kudos to Anet for paying attention to concerns about personal quest difficulty now.

Personally, I think they need to either:
1) Tone down most personal story quests with lots of mobs, using the squishier professions as their measuring stick.
2) Allow players to chose to only be down leveled to 2-3 levels above the quest level instead of down to the quest level.

Just my 2 copper. ^^

Mine are an even split so far, 2 of each. Mostly because males in this game don’t have to be big ugly brutes. And I don’t want to play Charr or Norn, so I could use the variety since I plan to have 7-8 characters eventually.

I tend to prefer Sylvari as guys ‘cause they have the potential to be so adorable and androgynous looking, which is unusual for males in MMO’s but fits well with the Sylvari lore.

Ouch, depressing list there OP! I’ve never experienced any of those, but probably because my Ele is only level 30 and I don’t PvP or do jump puzzles. Having Ranger and Necro alts, the difference in “ease of killing stuff and not dying” is rather depressing.

Still, I’m not scrapping my Ele because it is unfortunately the only class that fits my character, and I like the concept of the profession. I see a lot of Eles in the starter areas, and honestly I think it is because the concept of the profession simply has a wider appeal than the other two scholar professions do, not because people think they are powerful to play (though, our flashy spells may give that impression, haha).

I really hope that they do “fix” or “buff” Elementalists sometime in the foreseeable future though. I level slowly, though will likely be spending more time on alts as my Ele gets higher in level.

It bugs me too that humans are so full of themselves, not endearing at all. But I have come to think of the human voices as the voices of narrators though rather than my characters’ voices, and suddenly it is so much better!

Unfortunately, that doesn’t really work as well with effects like squeaking and grunting, lol. I’m really noticing it on my new human female scholar, she is so squeaky!

I’d love this! I normally use a scepter/dagger while running around the world, though for DE’s I find the staff to be superior. But it is a pain opening the UI and wading through my inventory to change my weapon whenever I run into a DE (when there are often swarms of mobs on my screen and I should be, y’know, paying attention to my surroundings). And then there’s remembering to change it back when the DE is over, nevermind that some DE’s have a chain thing going on and so I might have to just switch back to my staff again anyway. xD

Not a huge deal, but out of combat weapon swap on Elementalist would be really nice to have. And for Engineers too, I dunno how they work but it sounds like they could benefit from it too.

Personal Story and lots of deaths...

in Personal Story

Posted by: Passiflora.2047

Passiflora.2047

I agree that some of the personal story quests really need to be toned down. Their difficulty seems to vary WILDLY though, depending on your profession, your specific story, what NPC helper you picked, etc. So those that think personal story quests are easy and “fine” probably have had a different experience than those that find them too hard!

Some examples/comments on quests I’ve done:

1. “Seek Logan’s Aid” lvl 11 quest on my human noble Elementalist, the step where you kill the traitorous Seraph and Captain Tervelan: ridiculously hard, even 4 levels over and in very nice gear. Logan is fairly useless. I basically had to die my way through this one as I just couldn’t deal with 4 mobs trying to kill me at once (oh, but Logan might pick one up — the one with the most HP of course — when I was almost dead).

2. “Deeply Tangled Roots”, lvl 8 quest on my Sylvari Necromancer (Shield of the Moon), the part where you have to defeat the nightmare courtiers and escape the gathering: this one was tough mostly due to the fact that it wasn’t clear that you had to kill all the courtiers to make Renvari killable. Also, it seemed a bit buggy. The first time I did it, I had killed everything that came at me but Renvari was still not taking any damage. The next time I tried it (at level 10, I was frustrated and came back later), when died I res’d outside the cave at the check point . . . the mobs followed me there this time! Renvari came out there too though and was vulnerable, so it worked fine. Caithe, one of my NPC helpers, was not completely useless; I suspect that is because I could stay alive long enough for her to actually do something.

Even without the possibly-buggy things, this quest was challenging but nowhere near as hard as the first one. I think this is mostly because my Necromancer is way, way more durable than my Elementalist was and won’t go down in a few seconds if I get a small group of equal level mobs beating on him. Also, quest #2 had a good amount of space to maneuver around in, while quest #1 did not (at least, not for the first phase of the fight, the parts downstairs were fine in that regard).

Take-Away Points:

1) Not all professions can handle being beat on by multiple mobs equally well.
2) NPC helpers (such as Logan) are often not very useful at all, so reasoning such as this: “well, a player can take a group of 3 normal mobs if they really try, so if we give them this super-strong helper NPC, we can add a super-strong mob to the group!” is fail, because apparently enemy NPC’s are better at their jobs than our helpers. xD
3) Small/enclosed spaces make dodging and avoiding damage harder.

I do understand how difficult it must be to balance personal story quests for ALL player characters, since unlike SW:TOR, your story quests are based on your race and not your profession. However, I would prefer that some of them be “too easy” for certain professions instead of “too hard” for others. These are personal stories; I want to do them by myself and at the appropriate level, without having to die so many times my gear breaks, which is how I thought they were designed to be done.

Sorry for the length, I critique because I care.

Am I the only one who doesn't care about minions?

in Necromancer

Posted by: Passiflora.2047

Passiflora.2047

I don’t really like minions. I don’t have a lot of experience with them so far (only have one, newbie here!), but I plan to use them only minimally.

On one hand, my blood fiend is a handy tool in battle for restoring my health. On the other hand, I hate having an overgrown floating flea trailing after me most of the time unless I make a point to kill it off after each battle it survives. And I don’t like how I can’t control it like a “real” pet, yet it doesn’t just die after it is out for a short time like my Elementalist’s summoned elemental does.

Having looked at the Necromancer utilities in the wiki, there are plenty that do not involve minions, and I will definitely try those first. I won’t significantly disadvantage myself by refusing to ever use minions, but they will be my last choice when it comes to choosing utilities to slot in my bar.

Absurd imbalance, Elementalist is weak

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Passiflora.2047

Passiflora.2047

Personally, I agree with the OP for the most part. I started with an Elementalist, which I do love, but after awhile I got the itch to make a couple of alts. And my goodness, the difference was huge. My Ranger and my Necromancer have far better survivability and kill things with less effort than my Elementalist does. Things that I found difficult and dangerous on my Elementalist are simply things that I need to pay a little more attention to on my alts. IMHO, Elementalist is more difficult to play (squishiness + attunement juggling), yet does not make up for it with better results. Too much glass, not enough firepower! Or enough firepower, and too much glass. xD

To be clear, I am talking about this in comparison to other professions.

And if there were defined roles in this game, I’d expect to be the squishy mage that got a third of their HP taken in a hit but could either spam heals or kill mobs very, very quickly. As it is, I am a squishy mage that doesn’t do more damage or self healing than the heavily armored and high HP professions, and has to work harder at avoiding attacks because they hurt so much more.

In beta there was a human male body type that looked like a “naturally skinny guy” build, but it was removed (changed?).

As for Sylvari — by human standards, there is at least one body type per gender that would be considered really, really, super-duper skinny. Dare I say . . . twig-like? Good thing Sylvari aren’t human!

Have you tried using the sliders? Really, I do not understand this complaint. If you just aren’t comfortable with using sliders, here are some suggestions for more masculine looking features. Of course, different heads will need different degrees of adjustment.

- smaller, narrower eyes
- smaller iris
- lower, more angled eyebrows
- wider mouth, not too full
- wider bridge and base of nose (no dainty little noses)
- nose length should not be too low (nose close to mouth = cute trait)
- wider jawline
- longer chin

Hair: avoid the longer styles, and choose more natural colors that coordinate well with the skin tone.

If you’ve already tried all that, then what can I say, you can’t please everyone. Hope you can make a character you like.

Elementalist needs weapon switch skill

Passiflora.2047

I suppose I can understand their reasoning for not giving us one, since we already have 4 attunements to keep track of.

That said, I would LOVE to have a weapon swap, even if it was out of combat only! Why, you ask? Well, I find the staff is by far the best for DE’s, but for regular solo play, I much prefer my scepter/focus.

And having to manually switch out my weapon every time I encounter a DE, which usually means doing so while there are 5+ aggressive mobs running around on my screen, is a pain. And then I have to remember to change it back after, but then I might just have to switch it back right away for a “follow-up” DE, but if I just leave the staff equipped a bit longer then I might forget, and not remember til I find myself in a fight, and then I will finally swap back. And then another DE will happen and I can do it all over again!

. . . the above is somewhat overstated, of course, but you get the point.

Ah, I see now, OP, you are simply asking for sexy female armor specifically because that is what you want to see. Gotcha! The way you expressed this was just a bit unfortunate, as it gave the impression you did not want or care for equality in sexy/skimpiness between the genders.

And apologies if I came across as somewhat snippy. I had just thrown up my hands in frustration and scrapped my male Sylvari Ranger after being very disappointed with the medium armor selection. Neck to toe coverage, as far as the eye can see! Rerolled to a female because the armor sometimes shows a little bit of skin on them, at least.

First let me say that this is about female toons, as I don’t think there is similar demand for scantily clad dude toons.

So you are requesting sexy, skimpy armor only female characters, not male characters? How very sexist. Please, do not assume that straight men are the only audience worth considering.

Also, sexiness aside, male Sylvari really get the short end of the stick when it comes to showing off their awesome bioluminescence!

IMHO, more sexy armor would be great, but how much is “needed” varies wildly by armor weight and gender. For example, female scholars have loads of sexy armor, but the males, not so much. Medium armor is very buttoned-up and conservative in general, though again, moreso on males than females. Heavy armor has a pretty good number of skimpy and covered up sets, though could use some more styles that are somewhere between “full plate” and “bare midriff and a skirt” (again, moreso for males, thanks to the boob windows on some female heavy armor).

-snipped for space-

So again, I’ll say that I’m all for more feminine/pretty female armor. However, I don’t want anything kittenty like Tera. Tasteful would be the word for it.

^ this poster pretty much sums up my thoughts on sexier female armor!

Two characters with the exact same voice would drive me nuts, which is a shame, because otherwise I’d love to play two human females.

Though, I would like it even better if they were alternate dialogue packs, too. Same voice or different voice, I don’t care, just anything to make my human sound less cheesy and full of himself!

1. Medium armor with less coverage – for BOTH genders. Though the male armor is more conservative, medium armor in general is very “buttoned up” and full coverage. That isn’t a bad style, but variety is a good thing. If heavy armor can come in a “bikini/chest strap” version, surely the game world would permit some bare shoulders and lower necks on medium armor? Nothing super sexy, but a little skin would be nice! xD

2. Middle-of-the-road Light armor: that is, designs that are somewhat revealing and sexy but not super sexy, and are like this on BOTH genders. In other words, look at the sexiest light armor sets you have — Conjurer, Feathered, Apprentice, Embroidered, and Winged come to mind — and give us a set with coverage somewhere between the male versions (which are mostly covered) and the female versions (which are very skimpy/sexy), and give us that for BOTH genders. No more of this bikini top on females and full robe on males thing, please!

Just my 2 cents.

Can't harvest potatoes

What kind of error message are you getting? If it is a “no gathering tool equipped”, even though you did equip one, you may have used it all up and need to get a new one. This is probably something you already know, but I thought I’d mention it just in case. I remember the first time I got that message I thought it was an error, because I hadn’t noticed that you “use up” gathering tools each time you gather! xD

And yes, you should be able to harvest potatoes with the copper tool, I have done so multiple times.

Starting to think I'm not good enough to play this game.

Don’t feel bad, IMHO Elementalist is one of the harder classes to do well with! I hear Guardian is excellent for both survivability and support, though if you really don’t mesh with the play style, or aren’t set on focusing on support, I’d recommend Warrior or a Ranger. They seem to have a lower skill floor.

Can’t comment on PvP, though, sorry. Good luck finding the class for you!

If elementalists are so weak then why so many of them?

Well, I can’t speak for the rest of the “so many” Elementalists, but I chose to play one because the concept of the profession and the look of the spells appealed to me.

I wanted to make a robe-wearing, magic using, caster/mage type of character. My choices for him were:

Mesmer — uses clones and illusions and pretty pink spells
Necromancer — master of death and generally creepy dark stuff
Elementalist — uses spells based on the elements of air, water, earth, and fire

Needless to say, it was not hard to pick! IMHO Elementalist is simply the more “classic” mage profession and (for those that care about this) it tends to be a bit more versatile in terms of character and personality types. That’s not to say the other two aren’t good (I love my Necromancer!), but they have a different sort of appeal.

I love my Elementalist, but if I didn’t like the concept of the class so much (master of the elements, more classic mage-y powers) I would have chosen a different scholar profession as my first/main.

Of course, a skilled player will be able to play any class well, and of course, there will be people that really enjoy a more complicated play style. But IMHO, considering how fragile we are, and how many buttons we have to make use of to play effectively, we just don’t do enough damage to make it rewarding when you also consider the damage and/or survivability that other professions have.

My Ele feels like a glass musket, not a glass cannon. xD He can be fun to play, but having tried other classes he just seems so weak (except for AOE’ing DE’s, Ele is pretty awesome at that).

Recently I made a Necromancer, and my goodness, I love her! I am already amazed by how much easier it is to survive and kill things, and she has some pretty flashy tricks too. She probably won’t be promoted to my “main”, though I can see myself playing her more than my Elementalist as they get up there in level.

Why is the Cultural T3 set not exotic?

I agree that the price is over the top. I think it would be ok if they were exotics, though that would be tricky having to make many stat combinations. IMHO having the items work like the cash shop armor skins — they come with “built-in” one time use transmutation stones — would make them worth the price. Since really, who that has that much gold is going to want to use the stats on those?

But who knows, maybe inflation will happen like woah and in a few months 100 gold will seem very reasonable. xD

Most Overplayed Class?

I rarely target people to check their class, and sometimes it can be hard to distinguish them visually. And of course, I am more likely to notice players of my own class!

That said, I see a LOT of heavy armor wearers, a fair amount of Elementalists (my class lol), and also a lot of Rangers, though their pets make them more noticeable so this could just be my perception.

I don’t think “overplayed” would be a good description of any class though . . . you can never have too many, if everyone is having fun! ^^

Butter: I have a lot of it

Glad to know it isn’t just me having bad luck with the loot bags . . . I find it funny how since the change, butter is now in the “top supplied” items list on the TP. So I think there may be a bit too much of it in those bags! xD

Butter is nice and all, but there is just too much, and I need other crafting materials a lot more than I need butter! I miss how much jute and leather I used to get out of those bags.

Great thread! Here are a few of mine (some are repeats):

1. Previews on trading post — items with the same icon don’t always look the same, and it is hard to imagine how a dye will look based on a tiny swatch. Looks are important in this game!

2. Armor weight filer on trading post — I don’t like to wade through gear results where I cannot use 2/3 of the items, it is a waste of time and makes it harder to choose what to buy.

3. Mini Pets — make them STAY out when you use them, until you put them away! Having to frequently re-summon my minipet gets tiring, and I usually wind up forgetting about it after a couple times. Also, the ability to name then would be great. I bet these things would make them more popular. Considering how cheap they can be on the TP, I hardly see them at all except in cities!

4. More useful helper NPC’s, or easier story quests to compensate for their uselessness. Having played a recent title with prominent “helper” npc’s, I am probably spoiled, but when Logan just stands there for several seconds while 4 mobs (including a really strong one!) run after my squishy self, I can’t help but think there is something wrong with the scenario.

5. Tailor map completion rewards to the player’s class — I have gotten weapons that I cannot use, it seems silly.

6. Let us turn off character dialogue — at least outside of cut scenes. It can be annoying for various reasons (don’t like the voice, want to play two of the same gender/race but the voice being the same bothers you, don’t like what your character says, think your character just talks too much, etc).

Dye bug with banked gear

in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website

Passiflora.2047

This is a minor bug I encountered when putting gear that had been dyed in my bank and then using it on another character:

I made a character, but at level 5 I decided I wanted to change her look. So I removed her gear, which I had dyed “pastel pink” (unlocked color), put it in the bank, and deleted her.

I then remade her, took my new character to the bank to get her gear, put it on . . . and it was still pastel pink! My new character does NOT have any dye unlocks, and when you go to the dye menu, it does not show pastel pink as being unlocked. But, the gear she is wearing is clearly shown as being dyed pastel pink.

Again, this isn’t a huge deal since it doesn’t actually unlock the color. And I’ll be unlocking that color again anyway . . . but this probably isn’t working as intended, so I thought I’d mention it.
