Being a TC WvWvW player all the time. I can say this is the first week that there has not been any 2v1 in EB. Unlike previous weeks. (don’t mistake an easy opportunity and points, for ganging up!!!)

Finally FA commanders have woke up, Brought some more guilds to their server (that had to put a dent in your pockets) and have been fielding a lot of people in their Zurg.
You are still opportunists and wont make a move till someone else does and attack their weak side. (not saying it’s a bad thing) I think they are finally understanding that ignoring kain isn’t gonna work.

Kain though, has been absent for some reason. Yes, they flip SM from time to time but their zurg has been missing. WM has not been fielding a full group which is hurting the whole server. Hence, the rumors of them jumping ship!!

TC Where are you? You are currently in second, you are outmanned most of the day and cant fend off the FA zurg lately (a zurg you have dominated in previous weeks). You could dominate Tier 2 if you could field a zurg 24/7 like the other Top PvP servers.
But again, TC is a RP server. I think that what really annoys the other servers .

From a FA perspective, there aren’t any new guilds that transferred to us over the last week. You might have noticed VK and ACE as new tags but they are guilds that separated from two larger FA guilds. PTX did return to FA but they, from what I have seen, typically have a 3-5 man team.

I think our two biggest internal benefits have been:

1 – a number of guilds that do not usually WvW have been checking it out. Guilds like NICE, they have been on the server from the get go, have made a nice (pun intended) presence in WvW this week.

2 – map organization. FA leaders have done a pretty good job with coordinating between guilds who should be on which maps. On top of that, communication on map chat has been stellar this week.

The week is still young and there is lots of time for both TC and KA to catch up but overall, it’s been a well put together week for FA so far…

T1 player here looking to transfer to a lower tier, how is the WvW scene in T2, is it anything like T1 with mega zerg balls in all WvW maps? Hows the skill lag for you guys?

There are definitely some mega zergs going around in at least half the borderlands on a nightly basis. There are also some great havoc squads that are active on all maps. All three servers utilize them fairly well.

In terms of skill lag, it feels like its hit or miss. Feels like it only happens during one or two rights a night and its when its 40+ vs 40+ or sometimes during a three way. Outside of that, when just moving a Ross the map I haven’t experienced any.

All three servers have community sites up. Would definitely suggest checking them out if you are looking to transfer. Regardless of the sometimes hostile tone of the forum posts between forum warriors here, any of the three tier 2 servers would make a great home for anyone.

Last night in KNBL was awesome, 2 three way battles not 30 minutes from each other at hills. First time we broke through North Gate and BT broke through west and TC retreated to lord room AoEing the passage so nobody can get through, BT then set up a treb on the inner wall to hit us and we eventually fell back to try to make a push elsewhere. Second time we broke though the west gate and BT broke through the north following up with us setting up a treb to hit them. Exact mirror situation.

The second we broke through the nor wall and saw you guys come in on that second attempt, we knew revenge was imminent. Within moments we saw the trek build site and couldn’t help but laugh. Good times all around.

Ridiculous fights in TCBL last night with lots of three way battles going on in Bay. Haven’t had this much fun in WvW in weeks. While many parts of the “WvW patch” (which contained more PVE content than WvW) were disappointing or lacking, the end of culling made it all well worth it.

It was a fun night last night with Gornok Ashburn leading TSL on the FABL. Kudos to all TC involved.We had some very intense battles and took a chunk of FA for awhile. Kudos for BT and their followers on coming back time and time again and retaking the Bay.

I swear wherever we went to your group kept appearing out of nowhere. Had some great fights at Bay and in Vale. Looking forward to continuing the physically abusive, and fun, relationship for the remainder of the week. Keep up the great fights.

Fun time in TCBL not too long ago at north camp…. we knew your zerg was going to come stomp us but just could not pass up the opportunity at a last stand.

DPS made a tremendous push over the past few weeks, helping FA beat their archrival TC last week and finish second in their tier two match. If you play in the SEA time slot and are looking for a new home, DPS would be a great guild to take a look at.

HOPE, Echo, sF, FDIC, DICE and OBEY are all great FA guilds that are currently recruiting and offer up guild missions. I know I’m missing a few others but all those guilds do check up the community site fairly often.

Great fights this week throughout all the maps. Last night at around 3am ET had a great time in TCBL defending Bay against you’re golem rush. Of course we got a little greedy trying to take a tower afterwards and painfully learned the error of our ways.

Not sure if its coincidence or not but over the past two weeks it seems like FA has a strong reset weekend relative to TC, then TC has a dominant mid week over FA with then a strong FA close into the end of the week.

Either way, it’s made for some amazing fights this week. Looking forward to it continuing tonight and through the weekend.

DPS has been a tremendous help in improving FA’s SEA time coverage. Would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a home

Tier 2 has been pretty close these past two weeks with KA/TC/FA. All three servers have great communities and solid WvW populations. Of course, I am bias to FA but any of the three would be a good choice.

Just wanted to say the past 3 or so hours have been epic in FABL with the pushes from KA and TC on garrison. Thankfully, the closest time we thought we would lost it, your groups ran into one another and while you fought on the walls, it gave us time to get up our dead.

It is a bane and a blessing… most woman love a guy with a lot of range that does little damage and has no consequences.

This week’s tier 2 match I believe shows how well FA has grown its WvW community over the past two months and proves that we are a force to be reckoned with. Two of our main SEA guilds, DPS and HERO have both seen their ranks grow over the past two weeks and are continuing to look to add quality people.

While we have taken great strides to improve our coverage, we are still looking to add a few more during the SEA and EU time slots. If you’re looking a for a home, consider FA. Please feel free to drop in game mail or a PM with any questions.

Forum trolling aside, this has been one of the most fun matchups I’ve had since coming to FA. There were some great fights on all borderlands throughout the week and some epic tower defenses (I give TC a lot of credit here… Defensive siege placement looks like their specialty). Score wise, this is the tightest matchup of all the tiers as well.

Looking forward to another week of this matchup. Thanks for all the tough fights and loot bags KA and TC. I hope the bags from my corpse and the challenge of collecting them were just as rewarding for you as it was for me.

I kept QQing about your range with those dirty hands.

Those were supposed to be blown staff kisses since well, there is no way I could kill ya with just them. After having just fought off a NW gate assault, we figured you were going to set up a catapult in the boat. Of course a minute later, all of GODS suddenly appeared on the boat with you.

Now that I know that was just a romantic cruise in the Bay, I will definitely be more understanding next time

Regardless of some of the forum trolling from all sides, just wanted to say this has been one of the most fun weeks of WvW I’ve had since starting. I look forward to claiming some more bags tonight. May my corpse bag provide you all with nice selling exotics in the near future.

Just wanted to say those were from great fights with TSYM today in Kain BL.. Became even more fun and interesting with the large Kain force joined in and we had a three way the hard way…

FA holding its own in tier 2 this week. We would love to welcome some more SEA/EU players to the server.

So far so good for our 1st night of our return to Tier 2. Some SEA/EU folks would make it an even better return… cookies and muffins as payment.

As FA moves forward on the epic journey into tier 2, we would still love to have a few new faces to complement our core WvW forces. While SEA/EU guilds and players are much needed, we would love to add some quality people during any time slot.

Depending upon how far SoS falls, you could eventually get a K/FA/TC tier 2 and a DB/Mag/YB tier 3, which ultimately I would hope, be the most balanced matches we’ve had in a long time.

As many others have echoed in this thread, FA is still looking to add some quality members to our WvW community. While SEA/EU individuals and guilds are a big need for the world as a whole, we would welcome any quality person/guild that wants to be a part of our interactive community.

As an individual who came over guildless a month ago ahead of the free transfer deadline, I can attest to FA welcoming over both guilds and individuals with open arms. I was honestly surprised at how warm of a reception we received upon arrival. The community website and Teamspeak server are wide open for all world members. Overall I’ve been very pleasantly surprised at how smooth of a transition the move here has been.

If anyone is considering a move and has any questions, please feel free to contact me if you want the experiences of someone who recently made the move.

Had some fun fights against PYRO over the weekend in FABL and EB. Keep up the good work and hope to run into you again some more this week.

Had a lot of fun in both Hills and Bay last night in the BG BL. Lots of three way action in the Lord’s room and didn’t even have to pay cash for it ;-)

This week is definitely one of the more enjoyable weeks of WvW in awhile. Keep up the good work.

IoJ lost 19 guilds and counting now. PwN and KoR, both guilds that have not been WvW focused, have been trying to put up a fight but we lack coverage. Hopefully we can drop down another tier or 2 in the next few weeks and start to rebuild our base from here.

Had some fun against Mag and Yak’s in EB tonight. Hope to keep up some semblance of a fight over the next few days.

If you’re looking to do some WvW, they have a great group of people in their guild.

Apparently like many others here, I’ve been looking for a guild to join over the past week or so. Even with free realm transfers going on, I’m not too interested in switching servers unless your argument is that compelling. I like Isle of Janthir, have some friends here and am 95% sure I will remain here.

Some quick background:
- I’ve played everything from MUDs to WoW to Diablo to FPS gaes
- I’ve led a successful social raiding guild (can raid but without the required drama) in WoW from 2005 to 2010 and am now looking forward to remaining a peon.
- Being 31, I value more of the social aspect of the game over loot focus, though I do enjoy some PvP, WvW nd dungeon hopping, just not the stress of requiring daily participation

I live on the east coast in the US, so would definitely prefer a guild whose activities range anywhere from 7pm til midnight EST.

A couple of my hopes to find in a guild:
- not gigantic (around 100 or less members)
- active membership (groups, events, PvP… etc)
- has some type of forum (who doesn’t like to BS and kill time while at work?)
- uses some form of voice communication (Vent and TS always a plus)
- can tolerate someone who likes to joke around and interact with people
- would like a member whose active and always willing to help out
- might potentially be able to accept two more members (24 year old nephew and his friend) when they start playing again

Hopefully there’s someone out there that fits the bill. Would love to chat some more if you think your guild and I are a match.
