I’d be happy with them moving the no siege field in a bit so that whole little ledge is vulnerable to balistas and catapults etc along with people firing from below, instead of having invulnerable people standing there shooting while they build something. Either expanding the field or contracting it would fix the problem.

they deleted the post with the screenshots.. i’m guessing so that the exploit doesn’t spread? I agree let’s move on.

It’s not a baseless accusation. There are screenshots with it. A treb was built in the invuln area and cliffside was taken with it. It was lame and if it was Ehmry people doing it i’d post the screenshots myself.

Other than that this has been a fun fight, dragonbrand has some very skilled folks running around out there.

As a thief i agree totally with this thread. Remove this cheese tactic immediately please anet, it’s giving thieves a worse name than they already have. There should be no way to permastealth, and when stealthed your presence in the circle should not matter.

Gotta agree with the goons, they are being reasonable here. The fact the map got capped at night doesn’t matter one bit to me, nothing I can do about it, and this is a game for fun. Friday was one of the most fun nights my guild has had, we figured all the meaningless points would go away overnight, so who cares.
It’s going to be a funny 2 sided week with a somewhat even opponent, more than likely maguuma will end up 1st because of their night coverage(and our lack of it), but during even fights we do quite well and they have acknowledged that. Lets do what we do and enjoy the fights.

Who said anything about giving up? Ehmry doesn’t do that.

My guild would be horrified if i let someone red go about their business, puzzle or otherwise.

Run with your guild.. hang more near the back and assist on other folks targets. Use staff in siege defenses to aoe lots of targets through doors and from the walls.

Good fight guys, many golems lost their lives tonight!

I care about jumping puzzles.. some of the most fun small group fights happen in there.

BTW if anyone on Ehmry sees a Purg member not fighting enemies in the jumping puzzle.. please report them to a guild officer.

That’s the curse of the winning server, all the bots transfer to you and take up wvw spots. We report and report.. but it doesn’t seem to do much.

I love all the half-veiled insults you guys like to toss at anyone and everyone from ehmry bay. We have more than you guys, but this is far from a mindless zerg of solos. We have good coordination among 6-8 medium to large guilds. We almost never have a que on any map, so lay off the shoveling poo to cover for a lack of coordination on your parts.

We’ve played great matches against servers with hours long ques on all maps and kicked their teeth in during prime times, only to lose the entire map overnight and do it again every day for a week, because we love to pvp. This server is no mindless zergball bouncing around the maps. We have pride in what we do and we do it well. Stop with the hostility and enjoy the fights because next matchup you’ll get a less prepared server.

This bug is fixed in all 3 borderlands. Thank you anet.

Yeah Hexin, I too was amazed at EB’s efforts. Gotta hand it to them there. They were not letting us take any ground without a real hard fight.

They were out in force and playing well as if it was a really close match, and I’ve gotta give props for that. Hats off to you guys.

I think this is because we only have enough people to really do anything in our home land and eternal, but the people we do have are really into pvp so they come out every night regardless of the meaningless scoreboard. Tip of the hat to both servers we fought this week.

This bug is still in effect. Just a reminder anet. Since this bug started there has been 2 patches and 2 new builds in wvw.

I’ve found the darkhaven zergs are harder to kill and do better at damaging my thief before i can blink away… the Shiver zergs tend to die in large numbers and do a lot more backpedaling. Theres more skill in the general mix of darkhaven at prime time imo.

The obvious guild groups on both servers are excellent and deadly. Been a fun matchup imo.. i could care less about scores.

You need the key to open the chest as well, holding the door does nothing to help anyone.

I would like to know if there’s going to be some sort of compensation or trade in for all the keys folks have farmed(if they have) while the puzzles have been down. I have 5 or so just from fighting in there.

More folks on during the weekends.. more suckers…. er… “inexperienced traders” and more undercutting during the week due to lack of churn(turnover).

Worked my way through the entire thing solo(cept for the arah part of course) on my thief, challenging and fun. I’m doing it again twice more with a guardian and elementalist on different story lines. Don’t nerf the story line Anet. Could use something nicer for the end reward though.. 3 greens? All the lvl 70+ zones give exotics for completion.

I’m not a leader of PURG just a member, but I feel safe saying we’d love to see more presence at night for Ehmry. It’s tough when you do well during the day then lose all those upgrades while you snooze. Our commander Slamz trys to coordinate with all other guilds on the server and so far there’s been no ego problems.

Excellent idea! I used to do something similar.. I’d wear headphones underneath my football helmet and just do whatever i wanted on the field. We lost every game but oh well I’m my own person! Fight the powah brother!

That will increase the amount of pvpers in there killing carebears, sounds like a great idea to me.

not very effective camping, i just stealthed past you guys and giggled as you scrambled and fell off rocks trying to catch up.

One simple solution would be to give a timer to picking up the orb, same as killing a keep lord. You have to stand in a circle for say 20-30 seconds, and while doing so the holding team is alerted that their orb is being taken. During legit takes it wouldn’t be such a big deal.. but on hacking takes it would slow things down and make them much more vulnerable to killing or reporting.

Anyhow both sides need to stop crying, if they team up against us fine, if we have a good amount of west coast players at night fine.. just stop all the blubbering and lets have some fun.

Ehmry bay here, been a good fight so far. All the complaining about us overnight capping was unfounded.. the que charts prove that much. Gonna be a great week of fighting.

We on ehmry have been matched up with you guys a couple times.. i hope you get the people to replace the one’s who have left.. you guys were a fun matchup.

The jumping puzzle area should be instanced and not count toward wvwvw numbers.
