You knew the risk of putting sigils and runes into gear you cannot salvage. Now you’re just paying the price (or not) of it. Also, this is something like thread #5 on this topic already.
No I didn’t know about the risk because I had my kitten transmutation stones and now I have useless charge stones, I don’t want to play a barbie doll house, there are The Sims for this. Good there are lot topics with this problem because sometimes they listen and maybe they gonna solve this somehow.
When I bought this game I thought that gear and upgrades will be the least problem but it’s a main problem in this game, grind and upgrade, grind and upgrade :/
Are they even worth it? 1000 gems cost around 100g, and 100 orichalcum mining picks only cost 4s. :O
They’re more of a convenience item, since I think it was already proven by other people that it would take years of harvesting to make the cost of these worth it(mind you, this was back when they were for 800 gems each).
But what’s the point if you’re doing this to earn gold? plus if you’re playing on multiple characters then it’s easier to buy from a merch than tossing tools through characters so buying these tools you’re losing even more money. IMHO harvesting isn’t profitable, I’m not even wasting time to stop to harvest. That’s my 2 cents to people who are considering buy endless tools to earn money.
Honestly I’m suprised why runes and sigils are still so “cheap” but give it time and you won’t see these prices again when new players are coming and old will want to change gear. You’re basicaly forced to speculate or lose money because of these changes. 1 Upgrade extractor is ~25g what’s the point if you can sell gems and be able to buy most expensive rune and sigil except generosity and have still some gold left.
It’s funny to see how many things from GW1 still look better than their counterparts in GW2, although there’s such a great age difference.
Just one thing: in GW1, you could see the whole process of an arrow being taken by a ranger from behind the back and put on the bowstring before being fired away. In GW2, you can’t see an arrow in the whole process, just when it fires away.
So it’s not only me! I too think that some things looked way better in GW1.
Wth is this!? it’s terrible in GW2! Plus I might add I have to use lowest settings because loadings in GW2 are horrible so graphical experiences are even worse than in GW1.

Cost? only time and some skill points
Wut? and time what is? time is money so you need to count how long it will take to farm capacitator and how long it will take farm gold.
If you’re enjoying fotm or want to farm ascended items by the way then fotm back is the best.
Existing characters have no room for complaints. Newbies who wish to unlock all their traits with gold must pay 50g and 400 skill points. Most of my characters don’t even have 400 skill points even after an entire year of heavy play.

400!? My main 2 year guardian have 500, I’m glad that I farmed most of pvp gear and made all alts before that patch because I would be screwed.
Yes, skilling crafting is a pain in the kitten , losing gold only to refine that crap and hoping it will be sellable or more useful in the future. I still fighting with a thought if I should up my crafting skill and can’t decide but probably I will finally give up and waste gold on crafting.
Now it’s acc bound finally but I’m wondering why they didn’t reversed transactions especially there’s not much tp history. These guys who listed backs for 500g will earn easy buck in a couple of days/weeks.

There’s no guide on the Internet somehow, do I need to successfully decapitate and kill all 3 heads at 3 runs or I need to damage each of heads at 1 run which seems impossible?
There are 2 problems:
- Cap should be REMOVED
- Items should drop from corpses like in WvW because in timed events there’s no time to watch the ground for loot and even a sound effects or particles if precursor dropped
But IMHO I never understood why in MMOS there’s no full autoloot, lemme just enjoy hitting mobs and stop worrying about looking around spamming F.
I don’t care too much about skins so I dunno how situation looks but if they only gonna put good looking armors in the store then people also buying from store will stop playing faster because there will be less challenge to obtain items.
It was about 12 hours between your first and last post in this topic, why didnt you wait a bit longer? Wait at least a week before considering to relist. Most items go through a weekly circle because supply and demand outweigh each other depending on the day of the week. Patience is mandatory

If they even informed us how kittenty these rewards will be and that they gonna remove pvp crafting before they removed glory then I would craft all these sets before that stupid patch. But how should I know, I thought that my glory and mats aren’t with an expiration date.
Are you sure? is it rare or masterwork?
There are 2 options:
1) enough quarell from more people then they gonna think about fixing
2) you’re screwed cuz they don’t care if it’s not gem store – more likely

It’s a good time to buy and resell at ~100g people will now panic buy, it was for 42g not that long ago and now it’s for 50!
When I was fighting on TP copper by copper with someone then I noticed that he was canceling first then bidding, plus time when he was outbidding me was in similar intervals and human wouldn’t cancel and bid that fast.
IMHO if your team is good then rotting at home won’t do any harm but if they suck then even in 5 vs 4 you’ll lose. Usually I’m leaving home when our team is heavily losing to prevent farming on us.

As someone said earlier I sold it too to rebuy when price would drop.
It’s a 10th time when I bought items for example for 10s instead putting a bid for 1s. Why? when you click on price field sometimes you can write in a price instantly sometimes that prices adds up and when I’m bidding multiple items I’m kittened up.
I wonder why the hell this rune is much more expensive than scholar especially there’s more strength runes than scholars, hype and manipulation before demand = Wall Street Wars 2.
About world events, is Wurm title still doable? because I was guesting on Desolace and even if there was some kind of coordination then we couldn’t kill even 1 wurm(2% of life left) not to mention to kill 3 wurms.
I don’t know ANY MMO games that don’t use a form of leveling as a way of progression. Not one.
There are games that have no levelling. But those are primarilly action games, and FPS… etc. The MMO that takes levelling out of it’s experience ceases to be an MMO…

I thought that bloodlust stacks will disappear after weapon swap but they don’t, did they changed their mind or it will be implemented some other time?
You won’t earn gold on obvious items – look at dyes, everyone probably thought they gonna be worthless for a while but now they are at 25s(I bought at 19s). Celestial and Abyss recovered too, even if I’ve invested in this market I’m actually astonished they are at this price because so much people were unlocking dyes for duplicates.
I am astonished why people create 64 characters. I am a gamer, but even I think, this is completely out of whack. Anyway, thanks for the info. Maybe 2 or 3 other players need that information ;-)

2. Which reward track is most rewarding?
3. Are these rewards tracks resets like monthly or I can do them how long I want? I see that every track is repeatable except balthazar reward track – is balthazar reward track temporary?
I think some of my quaggan tonics disappeared, I’m sure my town clothes disappeared – one from Gem Store, I heard that it will be changed to tonics but I don’t have any tonics.
And I think some of my souvenir skins dissapeared.
Anyone knows about these problems?
There is no refund for glory boosters or anything that deals with this topic.
ArenaNet told you severel times in bogposts, since december i think, that glory will be removed from the game, that you should use your glory and glory-boosters before the feature update, and that there is no refund for them, because it was communicated early enough.
No it wasn’t early enough, I have 500 boosters and how I should’ve use them all playing pvp ~30 minutes a day? They screw pvp players, like with pvp mats they announced that they will remove pvp mats AFTER removing glory so I couldn’t even buy armor parts for glory because I couldn’t farm glory. GG Anette.
I feel that I’m the founder of fishing pole trolling xD couple of months ago doing daily and being kittened at this stupid minigame I decided to troll people beause fishing pole is the only thing funny in this minigame, I dunno how can someone enjoy this.
I’m from Underworld guesting on Desolation and yesterday and today we killed Tequatl and I didn’t received daily chest and exotic dragon chest. I killed him a lot of times and I haven’t this problem, have they something changed? like I need to deal a certain dmg to him or something?
The daily chest IS the exotic chest. The “ground” chest is the per-character chest. If you fight and beat tequatl twice the same day (2:00pm server time to 1:59:59pm server time) with the same character, you wont get either chest a second time.
It was 2 week from last time when I was doing it so it’s an unknown bug I’m guessing but I’m suprised I’m the only one…
The “refunded” ones may be account bound. Much like the PvP ones currently are.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the refunded ones follow the same. It would be very logical to have them that way.
Yep, that’s why I stopped after buying couple of duplicated blue dyes because if it’s unknown then risk is too huge even if rare dyes would double in price and even if I had a refund for all 188 blue dyes it’s uncertain if I get any good rares form acc bound unids.
Not that long ago I had about 250 acc bound dyes from pvp and when I opened it, there wasn’t even black or white dye.
There’s one serious flaw about TP, it attracts flippers who are driving prices up and it affect normal players who just want to play and have to grind more for items they want.
Removing TP is not an option because there’s more crap to sell than i Guild Wars 1.

2. People will be salvaging exotics instead of posting on the TP because they will get the skin for free and also a chance at ecto and sigil/rune. This means fewer of those exotics will be on the TP, driving up prices.
What? every exotic have a chance to drop a skin for example super skin or what?
plus now with 2h sigils bloodlust+5% dmg and rune of strength maybe you gonna dmg even more.
