So yeah, this is not a complaint or anything but this community has reached a new low by making low level characters and speed running the first personal story to completion to get black lion keys. Delete character and rinse repeat.
Either these players are extremely bored or they are so poor that they can’t spend a few bucks to buy the gems from the cash shop.
Some people don’t like spending money on DLC and have rules like me but I appreciate that other people are doing this because they are funding Guild Wars.
As a ex farmer (now I’m trying to not farm but progress in other things) I like farms like these, they are diversify content, I think this is the only reasonable solo farm in this game and I hope there will be more solo farming places like gauntlet, I had a blast farming Duncan(if this what he was called).
Resetting fractal levels and removing glory boosters without compensation proves that some day they can remove other things like karma, pvp ranks and who knows what else, maybe titles? maybe they decide to make them more hard to obtain like in GW1 and they will remove those titles that took couple of hours to get.
I must say that this inflation is one of the worst thing in this game, you can’t keep gold because you’re losing money, soon these mats will be worth 1/1g.
If you can’t play on TP but struggle with gold then don’t do it, you don’t need unnecessary stress. I decided to play on TP because in every game I was always hoarding as much gold as I could and not progressing, now instead of hoarding I’m buying random crap and often losing but I don’t care. If you wan’t to know what to NOT buy then ask me, my biggest mistake is so far buying 6 months ago 200 gold worth of mithrill (~25c per 1 back then) and listing it for 79c and it’s still sitting now I bought 50 of each cores and probably it will be worth kitten. The wisest decision was buying miniatures from set II when they were for free, they probably be worth 3x soon. Dunno about quaggan tonics, they aren’t soullbound but they won’t be obtainable after the event.
Things that aren’t change are event items like gift boxes, they plummet in the middle of the event, spike at the end and plummet again then slowly rise ’til next LS.
So there are only 2 options with these stats? I don’t see much use for bunker warrior, then I think I’m gonna use temporarily sentinel GS on my zerk guardian because I need 55 AR for further progression and God knows how long it will take to drop Zojja’s chest.
I dropped sentinel weapon chest in FotM, I need more AR for my zerk guardian but I don’t know if is there any better profession on which I can use that weapon chest.
I wanted play as a ranger like in GW1 but I knew they gonna screw him just like in first GW, poor ranger was so good at the beginning and then they nerfed him to the hell and was unplayable beside barrager. Now I have chosen Guardian but I’m leveling other professions too. It’s a pretty safe choice like Warrior, he can damage pretty good and he’s wanted for his support.
About skins, I think GW1 had more pleasant weapon looks, in GW2 weapons are too fluffy. Dragon Bone Staff, Frog Scepter, BO Staff, Voltaic, Obsidian Edge, Eternal Blade – these were my favourite
I’m on EU Underworld very high population status and we can’t even kill knights on main, not to mention doing 6 minutes achievement, I haven’t seen overflow on this world yet in LA.

What’s wrong with cleric stats for a guardian staff? I’m using it to buff myself and by the way heal if it’s in a combat.
Because it’s bad, because healing in this game is bad, because there is no real healing class /skills in the game. Your teammates don’t need you to heal, they need you to DPS so that the mob dies faster— they can take care of their own healing.
If I’m using staff only for buff power then it doesn’t matter if I have power healing or crit dmg.
That’s a poor use of your second weapon, to be honest…. But to each his/her own, btw.
If I have to use ranged weapon for damage then I’m taking scepter, staff is only for buff for meele only fights and during WvW but in WvW I don’t care about dmg because it’s a random carnage anyway without a guild.

Still, we’re not losing money by having these soulbound. Our wallets aren’t getting any lighter unless we’re buying bag space just to hold the plethora of items. I remember a guy who did computer consulting and during the .com bubble he got paid in many millions of dollars worth of stocks. He sent out an insulting email to our circle of LARP friends about how anyone asking him for so much as one thin dime could go eff themselves. I thought “sheesh, he doesn’t have money, he has investments.” And then the stock tanked and he was back where he started because he never had that money.
More succinctly, don’t count your chickens before they’re hatched.
I’m not saying I’m losing money but if I could sell some of these items I would have probably hundreds of gold more. For example: my 500 fortune scraps – 3 wind chasers backs = ~300 gold. Not to mention ~50 portal devices, lot of gauntlet skins, that’s a lot of valuable items. And there’s no reason not to let players sell these items, I’m not sure even if unsellable exotics from FoTM isn’t a bug.
I have a lof of free and paid tournament tokens and mats. I’m rank 40 and I want to know which mats should I mix to receive the best items. Is it better to buy rank tokens (wolf, dolyak etc.) or use my paid/free tournament tokens? and which mats – arcane orb, crystal silver or it doesn’t matter which mats I’ll use?

On my Guardian main I have still HoM armor, full ascended accessory, exotic weapons and armor. Back in my days stats were matter not fancy shiny junk. The only thing I’m aiming for now is Zojja’s GS from FotM and Fractal GS. Fractal skin because it’s the only thing that feels it’s worth something for some reason.
Blades, ascended mats, fractal fragments, fortune scraps, teleportation devices, twisted collectibles, skins, gauntlet tickets. A lot other stuff is sitting on my alt and the question is why I cannot sell these items? they’re not showing my progress or skill, they are crap for me but might be worth to other people and for sure they are, you can buy back items with fortune scraps but I don’t care about visual look and I can’t sell them.
It’s frustrating that they are forcing people to buy additional slots by creating system where mobs are dropping thousands of crap. Forcing to use crafting by creating thousands unsellable mats.
The worst thing is that quantity of unsellable items is too kitten HIGH.
What is the drop rate to get ascended weapon and armor in WvW and Fractals? is there any database? and from what WvW rank I can get these items? do I need to have 80 lvl? and btw. I noticed that I’m receiving boosters only on low ranks, on higher they aren’t as a reward or it’s much rare?

They took our fractal levels so why would they give a kitten about even lesser minority because let’s be honest, pvp in this game is a desert (Look, only 2 pages in this thread). Also they are assuming that no one is taking a break form the game or everyone is reading their update notes, I doubt that at least half of the players are doing this.
The question is what will be next? karma? magic find? better convert everything to gold because after a break there could be waiting for you very unpleasant suprise and your karma will disappear.

If you weren’t using them before, how will you miss them now? If they were just taking up a bank slot, then all you’re really doing is getting that slot back. And if you were using them, how many did you really need to keep you going until they vanish?
Okay, now that I have that out of the way… Yes. This is complete and utter, Grade-A bull by product. They should have stopped appearing when they announced that glory was going away. OR they should get a moderate vendor sell price, and be dealt with that way.
I was saving them because I thought they’ll be more useful in the future as a MF recipe or as a instant glory like with WvW XP or karma items.

Buy collectors edition expansion when it’ll be on sale and character slots, I think these are the best of the best because with 18-slot bags you’ll have A LOT of space to spare and more characters for birthday presents. Which profession is the cheapest to level and how much I need to spend to level from 400 to 450? profit is very small from these toxic recipes, it probably won’t even cover leveling.
