Yes make your own LFG. You can say in it how you want to play dungeon. There is not a rule against making LFG for what you want. Say something like “Story all welcome”. It fills up fast. I never wait more than a few minutes.

Free player have a lot of restriction on account. Also free player do not get the 3 years you have had of playing the game. Plus the living story content and items and rewards you got over 3 years. Would you give up the 3 years of fun you have with GW2 for account that is free with a lot of restrictions?

Go to wardrobe. Click outfit link then click the box by out fit to turn off. Also as warning. You should not share account. It is against rules and your brother might delete something valuable.

Is this achievement bugged? I know I am suppose to stand in whirlpool to get underwater. I never see the whirlpool though. I have tried 10 times but never see it. You have to make a support ticket then. The support link at top of page. Also did you try remove authenticator and then try set it up again?

I installed windows 7. I think if you have a more new Mac you can only install windows 7 or higher. Can not use Vista or XP. There is a trick though when setup with boot camp. In boot camp there is option to download apple driver during set up. Problem is they did not work and cause install to fail. The trick is to download apple driver from website and use that instead. Instruction are on apple support page for how to.

I made 150 GB partition. I think you need about 25 GB for windows and then GW2 game right now is close to 25 GB also. But game will grow bigger with HoT. I think arena said minimum space for HoT is 35 GB. But the game will continue to grow bigger as more update. So lets say you need at least 60 GB but will mostly need more later. A problem is with boot camp I think once you make the partition size you can not make it bigger later if you need to. You have to start over remove partition and windows and set it up again with bigger partition. So I made extra 150 GB on mine but I have 1 TB hard drive so no worry. Hope this help.

No. Mac beta client the same for almost 3 years. Arena net does not seem to care about beta client. They do not even talk about beta client. I think they make it just to get small amount of Mac customer to buy game. I give up on it and just start using boot camp yesterday. So much better.

Yes it is like I have a new GW2 game. Everything look so much better plus FPS that works. I suggest anyone with windows use boot camp. I only use it to play GW2 game so I am not worried about virus and stuff. I installed Avast anyway just to be safe.

It would have to be 3 servers because of WvW. I do not think it happens. Those free account do not pay for the server.

Thank you I did that and still have problem. I give up. Found my old Windows 7. Made iso and install in boot camp. Download the GW2 windows client now. Will see if that fix problem and work better.

This logic doesn’t make any sense. Outfits are also once-per-account but those can be gifted. It’s easy to ask whether or not someone has something.

Outfits are not once per account. They might have put in limitations to buy two (don’t buy outfits). If you gift an outfit, for the person recieving it, it is not useless at all. It works as a free transmutation charge for that specific outfit. So it is still of “some” use.

This is not true at all. Outfit are account wide unlock and do not have to use transmutation charge. So second outfit would be wasted.

I’m still wonder what happen with login reward for free account. Some person can make 50 account and make lot of gold from laurels. This would not be good for economy.

Better if SB drop a big AOE instant kill in area where people stand lazy during portals. Make it hit 5 second after portals arrive. That will make those lazy people start moving.

No one mislead. If someone was to be mislead arena net would have to give untrue information. They did not. They said buy HoT expansion and get base game free for new players. Player decided to buy it and get the expansion and base game. If this rumor is true then only mislead if arena net still sold base game full price and then a short time later give it for free. Would you feel mislead if you tell a friend to buy the base game last December then the game not much later was on sale for ten dollars. No. Also if rumor is true we do not know how long before it happen anyway and during that your friends are playing the game.

Why would you get free gems? You play the game for a long time now. Also you do get free gems with some achievement chest reward. I got 400 yesterday from achievement chest. There are your free gems.

Maybe arena net require HoT to get daily login rewards now. If that happen that guy who always talks about his 30 accounts is going to be very sad.

For all you who say you will quit if free account is true please change password to something you will never remember. We don’t want I quit ghosts hanging around in forum talking bad all the time.

Easy fix. Get paper. Get pencil or pen. Write password on paper. Keep paper in safe place where you find when you forget password.

2 minute into party someone ask annoying question about SAB and rabbit ears. I bet. And it will not be the only person. You should make rule. Any person ask about SAB they get banned from party.

The last few days I start to have this problem off and on. Even when graphics are all set lowest. This never happen until last few days. It happen sometimes a few minutes when I start play and sometimes after much more time. Mostly random. If I change render sample when this happen from subsample to native it fix the problem for a a little while. Then problem happen again and change back to subsample and it gets rid of it again. This happen over and over at different times in many different places. I don’t know what makes this happen now using same 2012 iMac and no problem until last few days.

With so many account you should make personal guild with bank. Invite all account and make some guild leader also incase. Some people with personal guild on one accounts sometime acidently leave guild and lose bank. That is why I suggest at least one other account be a leader. Then put valuable item in guild bank for other accounts to have. Then you do not worry about mail mistake.

Nothing to compromise. Arena net already made the compromise and give veteran player a character slot. That was the compromise after people complain when HoT was up for pre purchase. They are not now going to change it to 5 character slots. Sorry.

Funny not so long ago there was huge threads in HoT forum about how veteran player treated unfair because new player get game free with expansion. I guess not every person can always be treated fair all time.

I also almost forgot. You should stream your party for arena net to watch. They can see who has better party and give away.

Well maybe you can see real people have some beer and see presentation. Invite real life people to your house. Have some beers with them and watch the stream. You could even have the friends bring presents for give away. See I am a problem solver.

Could be PAX event make them require pass. May not have been arnea nets choice. Oh and you can drink beers in front of computer probably cheaper than cost to travel to event and parking.
