I keep infinite salvage tool and queen gauntlet pass in top left of first bag because I use very often so easy to find. Only special bag I use are invisible bag in last slot for important thing to keep and crafting material bag in slot before. I just wish when salvage it would not put stupid rune and sigil in the craft material bag. I use normal bag for every thing else.

This is very unlikely to happen. NCSoft isn’t providing any money to help distribute HoT, so don’t expect a physical boxed copy available at retailers anytime soon or ever.

Did you buy riding broom and carpet then? Those cosmetic mount. If arena net will sell more cosmetic mount people need to buy one already there to show they want. I almost do not see ever people use the cosmetic mount arena net already sell. Maybe demand is not as much as people think.

I would not. I do not like mount at all. To much screen noise and never really see a mount in any game I like. Also GW2 can not even show all mini in map if many player on map. Imagine now mess everyone on map ride a dragon, horse, giant cat or what ever would make and cause more performance problem than already are.

I am not going to argue in this thread any more. There are many reason people want mount and many reason people do not want mount. This is argument beat to death like that horse picture. Arena net know some people want mount and know some people do not. This argument going on for ever. I am sure arena net will chose what way they think best and argue all time about same thing over and over not going to change that. All this I want, I do not want say same argument for years waste of time. Argument will probably still be here people say same thing over and over by time next expansion release.

People you need to read everything, I got one as well HOT is coming out and they want what you got. I saw the warning by Anet as well so here’s what I did. I didn’t delete it, I went to, Game Menu, Support, Report a Bug, User Interface, Mail, then stated the situation took screenshot of E-Mail and sent report.
So they could have proof of the sender and ban his butt perma.

No need to do all those step. There is report button on the mail you can click. You bug report probably went to some person not deal with mail scam. Bug report for thing broke in game.

If you buy direct from arena net or authorize store from their list never have to worry about bad key. Not arena net problem if you buy from some shady source.

Are you sure you were talking to Guild Wars 2 Support or a Phishing Email?

From what they post in OP look like they were talk to support. Phish people do not make mail like that just steal information and do not write back when get it.

Also hope you did not give credit card or other important information to that phish site. If so need to contact bank and any other place important. Not screwed if you do like I suggest for you GW2 account. Make support ticket as fast as can. Also if gave bank information then talk to bank to secure what you need.

Need to delete that phish URL from you post and do what I say above. Link a phish URL dangerous for other that read this forum. You got phish so do what I suggest as fast as can.

I suggest in this order change password for account. Scan computer for virus and key log. Contact support, link top of page and tell what happen. Change email for account when talk to support.

Sound like a phish email. Arena net do not send mail about account close. They just close account with message when try to log in. You say you take step to remove. Sound like you get phish. Need to change password as soon as can and also maybe email for account. Make a support ticket, link top of page, to tell what happen because you get phish and account is maybe compromise. Also since seem you went to phish URL need to scan computer for virus and key log.

You probably miss some thing then. It work like that for every player. Maybe you do not look at right place. Look in hero panel and trait. Or is bug and then contact support.

Do not have to use trainer any more. Can change trait all want at no cost in trait menu. If you level 80 have enough point to unlock all trait and change when want.

The referencing real life people is not strictly enforced. I’ve been running my guardian who is named after a former conservative Republican congresswoman who is alive and well. There is nothing disrespectful about naming characters after real life people.

But, I will confess, if after playing that character for months and they all of a sudden demand I change it, I’m not paying to change the name. They better let me do it for free. They didn’t stop me from making the character with that name.

If arnea net force name change you do not have to pay for name change contract. Just have to change. Not sure I would report myself of have name that might be against rule on official forum though.

If you buy Deluxe or Ultimate make sure you have room in game mail for the item that you get with them. If mail is full will not get until room is made. If you mail has room and you did not get item them make support ticket. If you by standard and wait for character slot they send them out on Friday.

Suppose you got something that can be sold for 1k gold, but darn now you gotta wait till you find that 150g just to list it. I understand listing fee acts like a quasi gold-sink, but postponing it won’t make any dent on that purpose, will it? either way the player will have to pay that amount, and moving that charge to the end of the transaction makes it easier to sell.

If you want to pay so much to store them I guess you can. Cost a lot to remove them though.

I agree though OP idea not a good one.

I have over 5000 gem in my account for over year now and no problem. Only problem I can see if account get hack and thief use the gem to buy gold then send to some other account. If account hack then arena net roll back account and gem should be return to before hack. Use authenticator and that should save you from account hack.

Here are all version of HoT on sale page. If you get the extra thing like mini then you have deluxe, if you get extra things and 4,000 gem you have Ultimate. If you get none of these things you have Standard.

Storywise sure. My concern is more about different content further down the line, like the long awaited return of the SAB or the “re-release” of season 1, if those become also “locked” behind HoT.

I will guess SAB if ever back will be for all player. I do not think season 1 will ever be back for any player. To late for that and to many complicate with it to bring back. If arena net find a way to bring season 1 back probably have to buy in gem store like season 2 if did not get it.

Maybe season event like we see for Halloween for people that do not have HoT. Any future living story probably only for people with HoT. That make sense. Not make sense to give much future content to people not pay for it.

Press one key to do two thing not allowed. If you make key that jump and dodge from one key press against rules. No different than make key that jump and for example use skill 2 at same time. Or key that say dodge and use skill 1 at same time.

So if HoT release go very bad and many thing broke arena net can say play this Halloween when we fix HoT. It is a good distract so if HoT is broke. It make good sense to do this. If they made Halloween early before HoT release can not say the same. Can say here play Halloween you have been playing for days when we fix HoT. Better to have some thing to do same day as HoT for insurance. Gaile Gray has been making hype post for Halloween for some time now not like in past year. Obvious distract to me. From last beta I do not think arena net is ready for HoT like they want. Have a good back up plan like Halloween if thing go bad was good idea.

I agree. I hope arena net never sell terrace pass again. I like it there with not to many player. Nice and quiet easy to get to thing need with no annoy player spam attacks at NPCs or other things that annoy.

Log in reward and also cheap character slot. When game was sale many people buy many account. One account easy make 50 gold month from just laurel log in reward. Also those account on sale have 5 character slot same price as buy 1 slot with gem for main account. There is some person here that like to brag all time about have 30 account. Mac client is big mess and arena net seem to not care about it. Many problem over last year client get worse. My suggestion if can use Bootcamp. I hate to say but I did this and game run great on my Mac. I only use Bootcamp for GW2 and nothing else. I had to give up on Mac (3 year) beta client because to many bug and always broke. Arena net does not seem to care about this at all and should have shame the way they treat Mac customer. Also company that made GW2 port now owned by Nvidia so who can know what will happen now.

Only other thing is try thing is this sticky if you do not want to do Bootcamp.

There are, and will be, physical copies of Heart of Thorns. At least, you get the ‘box’, even though there is only the Serial Key inside, so far.

I think what Chyanne Waters talk about by physical version is CD because they talk about use to load game and later talk about use flash drive. Many people think physical mean a CD not just box.

If you did not make regular character with name you want after beta character delete but some other person did name is gone. Beta character get delete and name open for any person to use after 24 hour wait (I think this apply to beta character name like regular character). So name is gone unless person has it now no longer use name.

I had Revenant name I like for beta. So when beta over I made regular character with that name to hold for me until HoT release.
