Pets should not to any damage at all .They should come with special skills which benefit us when using them not take away 50% of our damage and give it to a pet and hope he knows how to use them which they don’t. That would fix everything. Decided what pet to use for what enemy with a handful different skill or traits per pet.

With so many hardcore mmo games now days why are you surprise that everyone rushed to get to 80. Its just the way it is . Slow down the leveling and people be crying its taking to long to level. There 1,000’s of Gw2 guides explaining shortcuts or how to or where to find ect.

Thats because gamers all want to beat the games as fast as they can and now we are all at 80 wanting more . Upgrades are on their way if the halloween event did not prove that to you nothing going to make you happy. Start a new class and have some fun on the lower level we all rushed passed.

Drops need to get better farming at higher levels as dropped off greatly . Why? not sure but its not worth the time for what you get back . It cost me more on gates and pick and axes and the armour repairs then what I’ve been getting back or at least it seems that way . I killed it at 40-60 levels but since moving up then Its been all but whites and blue’s

Thats nothing . I found a few forums on the subject web pages run for the sole purpose of botting ,hacking , etc. and very big guilds belong as well as 1,000’s of player . They would be a good place start looking into if Anet looking to fix the problem which I’m sure they have already. All I can say is good luck these guys don’t sleep and spend 24 hours a day finding new ways ruin the game for honest players and of cause Anet.

Maybe if their parents would tell their 38 year old its time to get a job and move of our basement we won’t be paying your way anymore .These guys will enter the real world with the rest of us and maybe meet a real woman not the ones in the game who are really have guys playing them .

I don’t think there will be any major changes maybe a few little buffs at a time. Spread over a few patches and I don’t think we’ll say any to short bow. Like to see more traits geared to the player instead of his pet which right now has way to many wasted on them ..

Complete a high level map and your get may exotic . Out of 3 class and 7 higher level maps completed got like 8 but I played as a asura all three times so in all only 1 piece was usable but was to low in level to use .I have yet to get any level 80 weapon or armor .

I run full luck and really don’t see the benefits .I got much much better loot on 50-70 then 70-80 levels .Higher level are jammed up with bots very good ones at that at every major event and farming spot return are horrible . Most time white and blue junk got one yellow out of 8 hours of farming curse shore .

Asura Ranger and Pet . He played a big part in me having a good time with the mad king .

Be Careful he’ll go after everything whether you want him or not. So if you and your pet need a break and he pops out he will be bring someone or something’s back with him.
I’m thinking about away with 6th ruin of pirate but he just so dam cool !

Be even better if you can keep all you’ll halloween loot in to save bank space.

For real ! Didn’t know we could group up .I solo it to me over a hour and a couple respawns but was a great event! Oh ya did it with a ranger. At least with all the nerfs they still very playable class . Not perfect far from . But at least my pet kicked * during this event..

Only downside wish I would get better loot for all the work.

With all the nonsense that goes on in a MMO’s you would think its fill with 14 year olds but most players seem to be between the age of 25-35 from most of the polls I seen. So what you want is a *Roleplaying server where the rules are much more strict and for only serious players but I don’t believe there are any otherwise I would have been in it .

Ive seen bots do many things from mining to healing but bots don’t like candy corn. So if a player runs right pass a candy corn nod it a very good chance he’s a bot.

Thats how they sell gems but to be fair for a few gold you can buy the gems for your bank space upgrade so that way its free .Its a day or two worth of grinding and problem solved. Seems fair to me most games don’t give you thats option .

In fact I think I have a better chance of getting banned way before the bots do . Every post I’ve responded to on this subject has gotten me a infraction. So this will be one more added on .

I’ve spent hours of my game time reporting bots instead of playing and nothing ever changes beside getting a infraction having fanboys tell to shut the f up that you’re a lying newbie who can’t play .

I just don’t get it? On other mmo I’ve played players and server all worked hard trying to weed out these scum from the game . But seems to be the other way around ?

Bots are not all Asian gold sellers . A editorial article which I read from another very popular forum on bots and hacks said he went and looked into the problem and found on one site alone there were 77,000 downloads of just on program. There are many programs out some free all the up to a monthly fee which guarantee you wont get caught or ban.

I don’t like have all this in a game but its has been in every game thats has ever came out. I don’t think we can blame Anet for any of it it but there has to away to fix it so the average player can still have a good time and get the awards that comes with play fair and honest. As of right now thats happening :{

WOW ! this thread is still up but not for long . I agree with 100% having bots in any game s***s but I can deal with it because Anet made it so that you don’t need to spend 300 gold on a dusk to play .All level 80 weapons rare or above have close to the same stats. Its for show after that. I was into standing in town for 6 hours showing my dusk or full kramma I would be bum but I rather be playing so its all good.

What I don’t like is this .I play a RPG to escape from all the stress and kittens out there in real life and to have some fun doing it but throw bots into into the mix everything that you were looking to get away from is now right there in the game Rude greedy kittens who don’t care if they’re ruining that fantasy and in GW2 there just to many of them in to many key location .I love the GW2 but rpg part is going down quick and thats why I play.

Train were one of the best thing in EQ ! ! ! Broke up all that down time well camping and was good for a laugh.

Vey very little lag .There so much that goes into causing besides the game server you paying $15 won’t fixing anything. at night around 5-6 when people get home from there a bump in lag for a hour or so which can get very bad and thats outside the game and my area have one of the fastest connection speeds in the country. I remember UO where you could lag for 1-5 mins between steps when in the city limits ! We have it so good nowadays.

There a ranger stealth about 1-2 sec and there a hack stealth where you disappear and pop across the screen 6 sec later and then do it again I’ve seen both & In pve but the hack stealth was well framing and the were no enemies around just 2 randers killing time over a hour or so ?? Plus there instuction video to watch on it .

Pay to win what? I got the title playing a pig .I may be missing something but people are taking what’s supposed to be fun and playing it like a paid pvp match winner takes all.

What you’re forgetting is that the rich 1% own most the gold with the cost of gems going up from at the start of the event they are getting even richer . If your luck they will post all the skin they got for the low cost of 250 gold still cheaper the dusk so its a steal !

There is always going to be ****** in the game.Some were blocking jumping paths so you couldn’t see but what are you going to do probably same guys who do doorbanging in wvwv .. Every game has their share. I think we call them pre-teens even if some are 40 years old .

Its a 3rd party program or hack for short .Any player with it can basically god mod .Must are smart and use a thief but as more player jump on the bandwagon the dummies are going to use non stealthing classes make sure Anet bans everyone use it .

We can only hope !

Knock it off ! ! ! Rangers useless in PVP no way. All newbies need that sure kill to boost their confidence and kill stats and thats where we come in and with us Elementalist wouldn’t any kills at all. So cheer up we have a very important job as the goto most killable class in GW2 and at least in the top 5 of easy kills of MMO everywhere.

Look at it this way on the nerfs to come things can’t get much worse its all uphill from here.

I use all the weapons ! They’re great the times when you get bored and need a good laugh . Watching my Asura with a sword rolling a enemy well set himself on fire is good bit of fun and if you’re lucky the enemy will die laughing as well. Now there a nice kill and can add to my kill list well using a sword . Thats makes 5

I don’t understand why so many Good players want to play stupid ! The programs are all over the net and it had nothing to do with being a thief. He just happens to be the class easy used with one . So stop telling players they can’t play and open your eyes face what’s going on a few bad eggs spoils the bunch. Won’t you rather get credit for playing thief well then being lump in with a bunch players and their gank kills . It takes know longer than 1 minute google it and its all laid out for you step by step .There a 100% chance after seeing it can then ever tell other play its all in their heads and that you’re a bad player or players . Unless you are the one trying to hide something ?

So many of the traits all geared towards our pets that it leaves very little left for player himself to trait. Separating the playing styles of each ranger isnt happening . I’ve played other classes which were a half dozen to a dozen different ways to trait your player for your style of play even the smallest changed could make a huge difference in how you play. Which is the reason so many players are upset over SB nerf it was one of a few playable styles or the only . I much rather have the traits for myself with a option to adding a "FEW " to my pet if that what I choice to do like the other classes.

See that we all were blinded by the SB nerf we fail to so all the other nerfs that were done. I’m joking it all seems to be the same as it ever was .But simple moving around in a zones will change health/heal so if there is a difference may be a zone bug ?

Its amazing ! how some player can turn a blind eye anything wrong that may be going in GW2 and on top of it belittle the player who’s trying get it game fix so we all can enjoy the game and playing fairly !!! Or maybe they themselves have a reason not to want things fix????

Let me help you out a bit from the very beginning of MMO gaming there were hacks programs available to anyone with a little cash .These players want them for all different reasons but at the end of the day they all just feel that having a good time in their is much more important then the 1,000 of people they ruin it for.

I started playing MMO back years ago on Ultima online and from that point on its be the same thing from one game to the other .My point is that games where players stood and did whats right went on had a huge impact in eliminating a lot of the problems and the games that didn’t well their still out there just not newbie friendly and they only play well for a select group of people.

Mercury spend a little time researching the subject you may be very surprised at what you find and probably only take you less then a minute of your time so you have the facts . Before discouraging other players from doing the right thing.

Hey ! Lets not bust the guys bubble he found something positive he likes about his ranger. Its a great attack I use it all the time too. Makes you feel powerful so what if it all in your head .Us rangers need every little bit of hope to hold on to though these days of depression and disappear .

Stop trying and just go out and enjoy the game and you’ll be there before you know .I get caught up in that too sometimes where it seems more like work than a game and that where things come to a crawl. Back track to a lower level where you had the most fun for awhile.

Neco out does the ranger when it comes to the pet class .I got lv 80 Neco and a lv 68 Ranger and the neco just has much more depth and skill involved in fighting . Once you get your Elite you can use flesh golem as your pet which out tanks out damages any 2 rangers pets put together but he just so much dumber wait thats not right its 10 x Dumber ! ! ! ! ! ! ! but you can work around that . The problem not so much the pets with the ranger its with sb spam1 which is about the only good attack skill when using a pet. The rest are just to slow or non offensive which means you pets going to die faster as neco can melt down groups of enemy one after the other with his marks marks and wells. I still love playing my ranger everyday but out of the two pat classes is trailing far behind the Neco.

Now that just shows how great wvwv in GW2 is ! I’m sure thousands cant wait to play now!

I’m playing a ranger now . But my neco been at 80 for sometime .I always have gotten gold in every event I’ve been in . As I walk by a event I can place 3 marks or wells and get silver its that easy. Don’t tell no one but In my opinion were the strongest class in the game .I play with only a Flesh golem and Im staff\well spec. and the amount of damage we can throw out is incredible and I say we because my very stupid FG friend will hit harder them me with daggers and can tank 3 groups of 3 before dying which is 30x more damage then I could take. If I can now just stop him from running off and fighting for other player half the time we be unstoppable.

Daze it with your short bow we turn aggro to pet almost every time. I’m at 70 right now so up to this point it’s worked.

I choice the ax as my second weapon choice and figured I’ll used it alot because SB so ****** up. But you are 110% right .You seem to turn a 3 mob fight into 30 mob because Mr. ax doesn’t care who he hits .Even in a area with all reds you don’t always want to fight all them at one time not the best survival strategy . I love the ax but it just doesn’t play with other .

The very first week in the game was amazing ! Best game launch ever at least for me.

If it wasn’t for waypoints we would all want horses which most likely cost 100 g or even gems . Waypoints work just fine .

Facts on SB are no one’s spamming 1 the other 4 skills have a cool down ! What may look like 111111111111111111111111111 is the player waiting for the cool down to be up on the other skills the it112113111111111111111141111111111111111111111111115 thats just how fast they can be played . Slowing down one skill is not going make the cooldowns any faster .

I would much rather spam the 5 skill [daze] or 4 skill {cripple} or 3 skill which gives me much need speed boost we lack. Poison I could care less about. Its there so I play it but maybe the poison duration to like 5 sec it would be better as of now a 2 sec. is nothing.

SB has it all we just can’t get to any of the other skills faster the cooldown will let us .Only a fool won’t use daze or cripple as much as possible. So other players want us to mix it up more lower the cooldowns .That would work for me!

look whether you like it or not Sdric right !Thats just how it is but by know means should it matter to someone who wont to play a ranger .I made mine up a few weeks ago in the midst of all this nerfing sense and if anything it made me want to play him more. I love the ranger playing style and pets so what if it dies thats why you have a second for back up and as soon as there break in action he heals right back up.

If you look at the neco pet line up the only pet that can tank or do damage is the FG and there you have to use your elite .All the others seem to be know more then just show and have to waist a skill for one them when you can put out real dmg with wells or your skill condition skill ain’t wroth it . Play a neco for awhile with pets and come back ranger pets then tell pets are. Trust me they kick kitten !

Bottom line is who the hell wants to play a game with so many other players cheating . Since day 1 of online gaming there a fair % player have been cheating .

Hows that affect me well It’s a GAME players that play a game with cheaters feel cheated and the ones that cheat just don’t understand why everyone so upset just get back to playing the game so I can cheat some more. Thats how they get their kicks by PKing , stealing gold and loot, messing with the game mechanics , picking on newbies or walking with the same end game goals as you and they did nothing to earn it so well you were out girding for hours on end the were boting and playing wvwv pking others.

Ya thats all well and good but the players controlling most of the dusk and among others items I’m sure are the players with the most bots ! The amount of framing that need be done to have so many Items up for sale so soon in the game only points to one thing . Those Items were meant to be long term goals for a player. Well thats gone as a goal ! Have a little cash on hand and it all can be yours .

I know there alot honest players but the day the trading post was open some players already had the upper hand there were to many commanders already for few weeks play. Some of them from what I understand aren’t very good commanders or even a good player So how that happen .They hang around town all day jumping around acting like children on the battlefield their clueless .Nothing like the way a hardcore game would behaves .Make you wonder if he plays so bad how in the hell did he earn so much money so soon?

That just kills any long term goals grinding it out so one day you can be one of the few with a dusk weapon or a full set of kramma armor when any fool can cheat now and get for the cost of a bot or a few dollars. Its very very very unfair to the players who want to play fair .Anet needs to make special servers for roleplaying honest players where the rules will be very strict and its all about fair play and the rest of you fools can have a free for all trying to gank each with your cheats and hacks .

Well if it works for Anet then why change it. They can just change the name of the game to * Thief Wars

I got a 80 Neco and you can still get a pet that can fight besides you( Flesh golem ). All of the Neco weapons sets work well if you trait them right. The only down side is as a caster of Staff -Wells which one of the strongest sets in the game you can drop 4 marks and 3 wells in under 4sec. as your pet tanks . You for the most part wont move most of the game unless your running for your life but with DS that will happen very little.

I love the ranger mobility I never stop moving when in a fight unless I’m dead . I found that I have to use trap for that extra punch plus its just fun to set things on fire. I just wish had a second weapon set use besides SB right now i’m using ax/touch but its lacks far behind SB in fun factor.

I know rangers are supposed to have pets but why must he build around them .We should be able to play without them and have builds that don’t depends on the pet for damage.

Look at the Neco by no means does he have build around his minions or his profession skill Death shroud very very few build around after they nerfed it in beta plus a if played right all their weapon set do good damage.

So getting ranger which must be played with a pet and good % of his trait are pet base and broken weapon set you are left with no choice but for every ranger to pretty much be play in the same way .The nerf was to bancle the ranger out but all it did was to break him more ! Would have been a much better move to nerf up some of his other weapon sets giving else other choices besides SB .

Mines *Satan he just reminds me of the hounds from hell even though he’s a bear.

My pets have always worked well your not the first ranger this has happen to. If you want to talk about bad pets . Neco fg takes the award half the time I attack a mob he off fighting with some other player leaving to solo them. The other times why he did fight on my side and after a tough fight where we need to heal up he runs off and argo a mob of 6 ! This would happen all day. I run a spider the only thing they do wrong is there poison shot misses 90% of the time.

Is everyone that blind ? The hacks are out there for sale now! Very easy to find google it because more and more players are jumping on the hack bandwagon .Look there many games out that are ruined now because of all the hacking . I can’t stand when fanboys play dumb and tell that you don’t know how to play. If you were such a good fanboy you would want to put a stop to this before it gets way out a hand or maybe your not and want people to think its all them. I’ve seen 4 other class stealth besides the thief how did they pull that one off? Maybe I sneezed well playing and its all in my head.

And which players do you think would go so out of their as to buy bot program just so they can get unfairly ahead of everyone else . Weather kramma or money its just that they need to out do other players . Ive been seeing alot of farming single bots in guilds now .The secret’s out its all over the net for anyone to have now.

I don’t play pvp anymore because years ago there was way to much cheating going and never went back .Maybe one day but with all the hacks going right now in both pvp and wvwv why bother and before a pvp play jumps on for never playing how would I know just read some posts there 100’s of them. The only ones who have to defended these action is most likely using them .There a % of plays who can only enjoy game if their cheating and make other plays unhappy. So I could less about pvp but have to agree you cant have skills work well on both pvp -pve + (wvwv) its just not happening.

WE have to few skills as is and trying to make them work right in one messes up the others . The nerf to sb killed its effectiveness in pvp well in pve it really doesn’t play in all that much . The thief backstab is all pvp . In pve and it’s just does work as well since most time you’re trying to take groups not one player. The thief seems to be pvp built only. Were splitting skills up trying to make them work for everything but instead it watering down all 3 games with so-so skill sets .It be nice if we all had our own set of skill So when a nerf is done it’s for that style of play only.
