Too many warriors are running glassy builds or roaming build. More harm than good if your map is qued.
For group play, full soldier runes greatly outperforms melandru. Removing 4 conditions from allies in earshot is far more important than -25% condition and stun duration. Also if you scale it up to a zerg vs zerg, 4 warriors with soldier runes + 2 shouts + shrug it off will obviously be a better choice than melandru.
Warriors in ZvZ shouldn’t even be concerned with damage in their builds because every other light profession heavily out damages you from a range. Warriors can’t fufill the DPS role. Warriors strength lie in soaking up damage while helping their team sustain with constant buffs, swiftness and lots of condition removal and throwing in soem light CC.
Exactly, well said! My only contention is that virtually all warriors running with a zerg should be utilizing their elite banner instead of rampage.

Death Shroud itself melts in zerg fights.
Anyone who was using DS to tank in zerg fights was not using DS correctly. You want to tank in zerg fights, use a tank build with plague and then go back and pick up all your bags. Arguably, DS is still a useful tool frontline but you have to watch your health pool and know when to get out of it. Plague is the bomb though for tanking. imho.
Does BT run alone or do they always need a sister guild to hold their hands?

Any tests on how toughness works while in DS? Do we still take reduced damage as normally as out of DS? As vitality increases our LF pool, I’m curious as to the benefits of going full tougness tank for DS. If could end up being about to take just about the same amount of damage/hits with toughness over vitality.
I am not into all the ‘math’ of this, but DS with my 2000+ toughness and 30000+ health is still quite effective in WvW. Last night was a blast despite the necro changes.

How come you never post any vids of your encounters with HB? Hell, with the numbers you all have around you (i.e.: both IRON, LUN, FEAR, pugs), and the fact that when you hear HB is on, your PMing smokee and talking pure-t-kitten, you would think you would have some vids to show of your exploits against the hated HB…..meow much?

Nice video and nice roam build. Now please show us how the build works in a coordinated group/guild effort such as taking SM, Bay, Hills, etc. The one problem I have with roam builds is that they hardly ever roll well in group/guild coordinated efforts – if they do, I have yet to see anyone post a roaming build video where it indeed includes such..this video is no different.
