Umm, it is the PvE’ers cause even with the recent rash of transfers to JQ, BG, and SoR, WvW guilds were still able to get into WvW maps with minimal que times – after the League patch, NOW, the que times are utterly ridiculous and ludicrous!

No doubt, at all, that the OP has no clue, whatsoever, to what he is claiming or asserting. JQ has lag and lots of it, duh! Go QQ somewhere else or be more constructive in your ridiculous claims/assertions.

Apparently, since you have not figured it out, a server can be stacked to kingdom come BUT still must “make an effort” to WIN, duh.

• JQ – 84,965 out of 249,533 (34.05%)
• SoR – 92,039 out of 240,757 (38.23%)
• BG – 96,388 of 229,442 (42.01%)

If you claim something then it’s BG that actually doesn’t play for PPT and focuses on fights/stomping. BG has the most points not from tick even though it has the least total out of the 3 servers.

From my perspective, all this indicates is that BG, as a whole, spikes its downed opponents better than the other two servers – this will fluctuate undoubtedly.

Is Save Yourself a shout?

If you are dueling and have 10+ secs of stability and cannot beat a terror necro, you may seriously want to either change your build and fine tune your playstyle…..

Melandru will work best for small group or solo roaming.
Anything larger though (zerg play – if you are a dedicated team player), you want to be using Soldiers.

Since we are talking WvW, I love roamer builds, they drop so fast and their bags and badges are gratefully welcomed.

Either you go zerker/sin DPS or you build for support. Building tank mode is simply not feasible in any group environment since there’s no way to hold aggro and having a lot of armor won’t help that much if you have no way of refilling your health between hits. Building support isn’t ideal for PvE since DPS is king, but at the very least you’ll heal your teammates too so you’ll be adding something.

I believe what he is considering elitist is that your post is highly suggesting that to be the best group mate you require berserkers gear. One does not have to have max seekers gear to be the best group mate.

Define “group” and in what environment. If we talking WvW, if your are solo roaming or doing small group ops (3-8 peeps), then perhaps zerkers a re better way to go. That being said, if you are running with small to large zerg stuff, PVT is the bomb for a frontline guardian spec’ing support, etc. and will indeed make a valuable team group mate.

When I solo or small group roam, which often gives me a break from zerg running with my Guardian, I use this build. Takes a bit to get used to because solo or small group running is not the same as running with a zerg, so keep that in mind, but the build is solid and fun to play with.

Commanding in EU usually meant that I would’ve had to have taken militia and coordinate dual hits with HB and RK – staying up to fight them to see how they would fare (tbh they had a low guildee showing) wasn’t because I wanted to burn at both ends and was doing overtime. If you command a lot you often want to see if the guys you usually play with are up to scratch, playing in EU was more because I was curious to see if RK/PLX/HB would smash my group (95% JQ militia) as JQ has been historically weak in EU as it has no current guilded presence. There is plenty of militia in that time-slot, all they need is someone to lead them (cough cough, need EU guilds).

The best fights I’ve had all year have been against the BG ones since we left, as we cut a lot of dead weight from the guild when we moved off. Making a 3rd underdog server that hasn’t been competitive for first place for competitive again is part of the enjoyment you get from leading and JQs community is just as welcoming as BGs was. We are still the only guilded presence that has its prime ~5-9pm AEST as opposed to the previously stacked BG OC which had 3 OC guilds that usually ended in a ROFL-stomp on BGs behalf mostly from the part of them having a large militia and guild presence 24/7. We improved competition by moving as JQ was legitamately the underdog when it came to competition, as having one-sided fights is fun for no-one and moving from the previously Rank 1 server to the previously Rank 3 shifts the meta of T1 so that we get more fights in more timezones as opposed to everyone stacking in their respective timezones.

On top of this, I want to remind everyone of the score HALF WAY THROUGH THE FREAKIN WEEK.

This kitten is intense. In the smaller moments you have your 2v1s and those moments of dread where you only have a few things still your colour and everything is paper.

But looking at the larger picture… things are just amazing atm.

Imagine if the larger force of MERC that left had actually stayed in BG. Would the competition be this tight? Who knows. But for now things are looking fantastic.

Why even mention MERC leaving. They had very little effect. TKG on the other hand, had a large effect on the balance of the servers because they are actually good at the game.

Your discounting of MERC and what it did is beyond dubious, it is ludicrous. While it takes the efforts of an entire server (all time zones) to win a weekly matchup, MERC’s performance in numerous weeks had undoubtedly seriously helped BG win some weekly matchups. TKG who?

Despite all these builds, there is no “maximum survival” warrior build in WvW. Focus fire makes sure of that.

Was great fun, nonetheless.

There is nothing really to improve. Play, play, an play – its the only way you will become familiarized with your warrior and its strengths in weaknesses in a WvW environment. That said, your build is geared more towards the zerg environment rather than the 5-8 small group environment.

I’ll admit, I don’t know the first thing about your class but as a condition warrior with some fairly decent gear, I ran into a Neco today while roaming and he made me look like a complete fool! I know my class well enough that typically I don’t have too many problems with getting a complete thrashing by someone but this guy killed me in all of about 8 seconds. Really…

I never figured your class was all that impressive as a roaming class but the beating I took today was pretty darn humiliating! To be honest, I thought about rerolling my level 80 D/D ele into a Necro just to understand how I was able to be so completely defeated like that.

Shouts do scale pretty well with healing. Shout warriors just want to be able to claim to be DPS and having gearset where power is the major stat is the first step to fooling yourself.

If anything you said had any – ANY – validity or merit, then those of us that have been playing WvW since its beginning would by now see multitudes of WvW warriors wearing clerics gear. To date, do we? No. Do all of the hardcore WvW guilds or GvG guilds have their warriors running around using such?
