i play engi and think too aoe stealth is way too strong (long)
should be something like 3 second and next blast finisher +2 sec next +1sec – done – max 3 stacks

and agree with ele – not many play it good but the burst potential is just insane – i dont think it need a dmg nerf on spells but maby some icd on arcanespells ( or all INSTANT spells somhow 0,25 sec cd so they are nearly instant but cant chain all in one)

its same with shatter mesmers – just too high burst potential AND its aoe

their should be no ONE-SHOT (even many spells in a chain) situations ingame – its frustrating and ppl need a chance to react

maby remove berserker amulet^^ (or give it -vita )

edit: and for the s/d thief problem – evadespells have to cost endurance – simple. Thats the resource for it and its insane a thief or ranger can spam a spell and dodge everything while making dmg

@dayra dont care bout this ecl guys – they even write in spvp hotjoins “enemy are more” when they die

their is no diffence from 5v5 hotjoins and tournies except you get farmed by premades when join tournaments not with a full grp and you destroy your leaderboard ranking (should you care about)

so dont tell new players go tournies – tournament is worst mode ever

and than overbuff a class in oblivion and destroy complete meta + game for other classes – admit its op now – BUT nothing

should have reverted last necro patch in a hotfix

combat is fine but arenanet care toooooo much for e-sport and not enough for fun – thats why pvp in gw2 is anoying and frustrating

2 patches per month – the second patch (on20th+) is often the balancing patch

- sometimes smokefield + shield#4 dont work and combo do nothing
- healing turret+ cleansing burst sometimes dont heal anything – goes on cd but dont heal
- grenades – flash grenade often dont blind

evade spells on weapon should cost 20% endurance – problem fixed

Problem with this is not all classes need the same skill lvl to do good and not all classes CAN do as much as others do
bombengi (teldo build) is very strong and have a very high skill lvl and their are not many engis who can play on this lvl – so whats now?
nerf a class cause maby 5-10 ppl can play it toooo good so all other engis which can play it, but dont carry so hard, cant play it anymore and have to reroll?

THATS the wrong way

we have only 2 classes right now in gw2, engi and ele, which have high skillcap and you cant nerf this cause someone master it – all other players would have to reroll

so to avoid this:
bring the other classes to the same lvl and remove the faceroll from game
@#3sword spam from thiefs or heartseeker pros or shatter mesmer or bullcharge->100b or autoshot afk rangerz and so on

thief necro ranger warrior mesmer and dpsGuardian would need alot work to bring it on same lvl as ele or engi – to see the difference between playerz, good playerz and the pros

but atm i dont see any chance^^ and nerf a class cause some master it is the wrong way – you can see it on ele

ele is still ok and good playerz still do good with this but we have the normal playerz too which fail hard with this class in spvp, get farmed all day and reroll – so not many eles anymore and arenanet still not done with nerfs on ele ( i guess^^) so soon no eles anymore in lower ranks

thats just the wrong way to balance classes on good players when not all classes on the same lvl

hope for templates too and for this i have to post my suggestion here again

seperate runes/sigils from skins

plz make extra slot in spvp on character for runes or sigilis on items

often i get a new skin but dont wear it cause im to lazy to look for my runes or sigils for the items

i dont like respecing in this game cause its very timeconsuming
i even have 2-3 characters per class to have different builds^^

respeccing in this game is just anoying, so often i dont even use new weapon/amor skins

- tooooo much screenshots jsut for my builds^^
- its anoying to find YOUR runes/sigils again
- its anoying to put them on the armor/weapons
*for this 2 points arenanet should in spvp make rune/sigilslot and skinslot seperate so i can put my runes and sigils on character and change armorskins when ever i want

traits
- its anoying cause when i change maby i forget my current build and need to make screenshots to remember
- often when i change complete build on a character i have to run back cause forget the amulett or special runes or even sigils on wep^^

AND my point: it is just not fun to change your build only for a map

soon arenanet will bring something like templates and i think this will help with different builds and i would love to have different builds to counter builds from enemy but NEVER to play something like skyhammer – this map is much more anoying than change my build^^

maby – just MABY babysit your closepoint when see their is a bombengi in enemyteam and help with a second player when engi come close?

2vs the engi and hes toast – and ABSOLUT useless for rest of the game after he died 2-3x cause he dont have grenades or something and its a spotwaste in teamfights
(maby good mesmer to be fast from mid to close and back?)

engi dont have stunbreak( they still use elixier r) so 1stun should be enough with mesmerdmg + closepoint defender

AND look forsakers twitch profile – he postet their a engi NODE defender build just to counter bombengi and guess what? He used this in scrimmings vs Teldo and Teldo had absolut no chance and died something like 0:5 and made own video after this with the forsaker build

just be creative – game is young and dont tell always “but but but this isnt meeeeeeta”

and ppl are right to ask for toughness or a thoughness-like-stat to reduce condidmg aslong condidamage do same damage as power in the same time with no reduce

EHP = your hp * damagereduce

this means (simple numbers so everyone can understand in my bad english^^)

power dps do 10000 damage in 10 seconds
condi dps do 10000 damage in 10 seconds

you have 20000 hp so you would die in 20 seconds from power or condi BUT

lets say thoughness + protection + ice armor + all the other good stuf reduce the power dmg on you by 50%

so the 10k power dps in 10 seconds is only 5k damage you get and you will die in 40 seconds

hope you get it^^ – vitality(hp) isnt all its the EHP and their is not enough EHP you can archieve in this game vs condi damage

no vitality is not the counter to conditions

vitality + thoughness + blind + weakness + icearmor + protection + ……. = counter to power dps

on condition only vitality is working and missing all the other things to have enough EHP (effective HP) to can counter the damage conditions can do atm

WHEN their are more 8v8 server than 5v5 than this is fine, cause it looks like more ppl like to play 8v8 than 5v5 – whats the problem?

test both – their is no difference in glory or rankpoints – you get same in 5v5 as in 8v8

let ppl have their fun with whatever they have fun and dont trie to force them to play like YOU want they have to play the game – thats just silly (sry but dont know other words for it)

i go hotjoin more often than i go tournaments – atm i dont play any tournament cause soloQ is frustrating like hell and TeamQ i just dont like atm

we have a lot ppl dont care for tournaments, teams, leaderboards and so on – wanna know why? Gw2 is still an mmo and have an MMO-Playerbase which dont care for E-Spooooooooooooort (bad part is arenanet dont know this^^)

they cant remove hotjoin – they would kill complete pvp in this game they even should improve it with alot more gameMODES to have fun like deathmatch or capture the flag
ppl in hotjoin dont care for fair map or buggy or whatever it need to not be an “tournament map” – ppl in hotjoin play for fun

remove more ppl from gw2pvp and it will never ever grow – and this is what your e-spooooooooooort need – more ppl interessted in pvp to watch the streams noone atm care about

Whats wrong with this? Its fine when SFR finaly step up their game and PLAY WvW. WvW is all about servercomunity and not roaming players/guilds ignoring eachother cause they are cooler than all.
