Because playing is not rewarding to PvP apart from tournaments that give Gems or something. But that is only for the very best people, So the best will keep playing and the others will quit due lack of rewards. Which makes good players get into matchups with randoms….. GG

Take out the problem that it is not rewarding to play sPvP and you will fix the rest.
(little example)
Lets say you want to buy bifrost.
4000g

You get 25s per win soloQ and some stupid boxes which are let say also 25s?

That is winning 8000 games.
If you do 10 games average each day 800 days.
Lets say 10 games take you about 3 hours (including queuing time and stuff)
3hours x 800 = 2400 hours to get a legendary by pvp

On the other hand
You can do CoF 1/2 SE1/3 AC 1/2 TA up/down in about 3 hours

which are 8 dungeons which gives 8g normal drop and lets say another 16g form random drops = 24G per day = 166days = almost 500 hours

So PvE gives you the legendary almost 5 times faster

(note: these are rough numbers and could be off but its just a quick example why PvP is not rewarding enough)

Also… the old system was better….

When PvPing on second account i noticed it.
I’m PvP lvl 35 on it now and when I go to the wardrobe i have like 5 skins per part or weapon. With the old system i would have like 10-15 by now

People who only care for PvP don’t need crafting items that can be only used by getting some more PvE items

A well lets see if at some point the CDI will hit PvP and they might actually listen to what we say

rewards are fine in spvp

this both made me sooo raging all day, so i had to quit spvp. Clearly not worth my Time

I’m playing Guild Wars 2 for two years. Two years later, Guild Wars 2 is still in the top 20 in Raptr and the top ten in Overwolf. 2 years. Evidence they’ve made a good game, because if it were a bad game, we wouldn’t be in the top 20.

After all ESO and Wildstar are much newer and they’re not. Therefore the game must at least be good. Or why would people still be playing it. It may not be to everyone’s taste. That’s another story. But the odds are if it weren’t a good game, it wouldn’t be in the top 20.

Now it could be a better game, true. So can every game.

this list is not top 20 games – its a top 20 played by raptr comunity (they even write this in the post – just scroll down a bit)
its same with overwolf – most games dont have a use for this and so its normal that games which have a strong supourt for this are high (and yes the api and how wvw works strongly supourts overwolf)

there are other sites out where you can get a feel whats played by ALL GAMERS and are not so biased

just go twitch and check the streams by streams/viewers and you get a feel what GAMERS play or care about

Gw2 is better than most mmos imo. Wow and eve online are the only mmos I find to be Better. Gw2 just lacks endgame, which is why I’m not a huge fan of it.
Swtor is pretty darn successful. It actually rake in a lot more money than gw2 does.

I see no evidence that Guild Wars 2 isn’t popular among most players. Certainly it’s more popular than other new MMOs that have been released that were supposed to have killed it.

there was a very long thread about in german forums like 1 year ago bout server elonareach and the siege troll “Face of Angel” . The Comunity Manager Ramon Domke came in this thread after sometime and he talked later with his team bout this and he even came to Elonareach and played 1 week with us to see the Problems live.

After this he wrote something like: placing/building siege everywhere is a different gameplay style but they see no problems with this and so it is allowed – people who place siege everywhere are doing archievements and everyone is allwed to play how he want to get his targets done.

im to lazy to check for the source but you can do it yourself – its in german forums

Siege Disabler is absolut useless as a defender in eotm vs a zerg – you will stop or kill nothing with this – thats my point

Only fix for this problem (and it even would be simple) would be friendly fire outside from own group. Noone would run in a zerg with all this “Lootstick” Spammors anymore. Biggest Blob on map is 5 man partys^^

Geikamir really screwed me up because Chaos Skin prices took a nose dive after the patch went live because they were still 1 ticket. Made 50g less than I would have if I sold the night before.

• start and end from quantity is to small – and you should add when i right click on start or end than it will be locked and maby get red or a locked icon or whatever
• Min.Price – way to small (this one rly hurts the eyes)
• make my lowest listing in Current sellers colored
• everything other i like

2. Buying

• same as from selling for icon at top, Quantity and Max.Price

3. My Transactions

• it dont list all my transactions or everything im buying – thats horrible
• best for this would be to show amount per item and when click on item i see all listings from this item
  example
  Listed:
• Elderwood Log 25627
• Thick Lether Section 34573457
• Super thick Leather … 3463463
• Rune of complaining 2434
• Rune of of whatever 321
• Pizza 234523
• Eaten Pizza 234

and when i click on one i see all the items
(this would be the best you could do for tradepost)

4. Buying/Selling/Canceling

• when i have 5000 from something in my bag there should be a button for SELL ALL and the ui do this job and i dont need to click every 250s
  would be no problem to add something like the Crafting Que with a timer per sell so it dont hit this intern error thing
  (and i bet it would be for everyoen ok when i get asked after i press Sell all “this will need 10 minutes – wanna start yes or no?”)
• this SELL ALL button could apper when hold ALT in sell window

5. Filter

• i like search works a bit with tooltips – like “Locked” or “skins unlocked”
• this should be for other items too like buff food – would rly nice to can click on buff food and than write in search “power” or “karma” and it show me all foods with this in toolip

people ask just for an simple armor filter for 2 years

but arenanet has to overhaul the complete thing and make it even worse

ok in short just for you:

• GW2 is no kitten moba or egoshooter

its an mmorpg and an mmorpg is not about who has faster reactions and press the button faster it is bout micromanagment from spells and strategic thinking

there is a lot wrong with this game and one point is all this overloaded passiv procs and passiv ai.
But all this stupid passiv gameplay is only a primitive fix from arenanet for the fail designed combat and mechanics in this game.

• its way to fast
• animations only bring the info to the players
• everything to “flashy”
• no combatlog (will be fixed with patch)

this are reasons why pvp in this game dont work and lose palyers day per day
and only fix for arenanet is “spamming buttons” and “passiv play”

Edit: This is also why Vee Wee thinks Anet should consult top players of every class when making balance decisions! Anet should do the same! Developers are just developers! They are not the best players!

You can go to PvP hotjoin to remove the food on your primer. Just go in and leave, an awkward work around but it works.

well birthday blaster wise i dont know how this would work but for all other food they could just make it a chef or mystic forge recipe to combine the primer and a food item.

primer works with the birthayblaster buff

the problem is birthdayblaster buff is only 10min and so it cant overwrite other foods with longer duration(=all)

so when i clicki on trollfood somewhere in world it overwrites my birthdayblasterbuff and i can not change it back until my primer runs out

i still have 3h left for this kitten +70heal food on me

dont care when its a waste for birthdayblaster – i want this buff and dont wanna have other noobfood on me

and when i pay this gems for a primer than it have to be the buff i want and not getting useless from a randomtrollfood

Primer with birthdayblaster buff is nice cause its 12h. But its a big waste of gems to use an Primer in EOTM (maby wvw too or all other open zones) when every troll can just drop some noobfood on things people click and destroy the Primer for me.
There are always people throwing some food on Chests, Banners, Rams(while building on gate) or even in fights.

So please – i wanna use MY FOOD on MY PRIMER and not some random noobfood

i suddenly clicked on a stupid +70heal food in EOTM someone dropped near a banner and had primer on me now i have this stupid buff for 7 hours and can´t use my birthday blaster

fix this plz and give me back my primer
