This game is just so fluid in its pvp combat…..it’s hard to quit this game…..
Exactly, they fail to understand the reality that the majority of the reason people play and love this game is the combat, mixed with no subscription fee. The combat is literally unparalleled and so fun to play, it doesn’t matter how garbage the pvp, or pve content is, people would still play it because of the combat.

A fair question. This is what I would speculate: Some people wouldn’t want to compromise on their map selections regardless of how bad queue times get. They then want a way to have there map filter AND good queue times. Then we have to incentivize people to play with no filters so that picky players can still have decent queue times. This is very much a slippery slope argument, but as someone posted earlier, this is what happens in WoW. While it is totally feasible, it’s far more complex to teach than a vote system.
but i think too this would be best solution – just give people max rewards when play with ALL maps and give -20% rewards when people disable atleast 1 map

Edit: Change it to 10x 6 maps= 60 votes total, so that you can play all maps if you like. In window showing maps for soloQ/teamQ , you leave a X or Checkmark on maps you give your vote, at end top 4/6 are still chosen by random.

a player who has marked all maps get max rewards per match + maby a lil bonus
and per unmarked map – some rewards (like -5 silver per match? or lower track progress)

@romek: we all know now, that something happens in WvW that let you hate it now.
But your description fits whole gw2, it’s designed to feel pro for hitting 1, and every added boss event increases this. Second why do you have Elona in your signature? Servers like Elona do not exist outside WvW anymore and you stopped playing WvW. What let you keep the name of a WvW team in your signature, if you hate wvw? Elona doesn’t exist in PvE, EotM nor in sPvP.
1. yes(except spvp) and i just anwered the QQ bout PVEers farm in eotm karma and PVEers are soooo bad and …….. theirs no difference between PVEers or WVWers, its all the same and when i am in eotm most guildtags i see are WVW guilds^^

zerg runs in enemy zerg and aoe spam button#1
when someone wanna call this PVP than i call him silly
wvw is designed so casuals and bad players can feel like pros
would not wonder when next patch will be:
- Warrior banners running around hitting people with over9k burning
- Ele spawn Ai mob per attunment for 25 sec when switch to this attunment – ele-army inc
- Guardian spiritweapons will be buffed so they dont need to be utility anymore – they jsut proc somehow from spamming #1 staff
- thief – thiefguild will be buffed to 25 mobs – only 10 do damage (thief get special extra perma minipet Thief running behind him spamming heartseeker on the thief)
- ranger can have now 15 pets at same time
everything sounds stupid but when talk bout arenanet than its possible^^

It is funny how all those other games somehow manage to keep people playing for 6 months without adding anything, but as soon as GW2 have a gap of a month or two the game is doomed.

My suggestion would be:
- make Festival tokens + Vendor permant
the tokens should be a perma livingstory currency and all this different currencys we get per Living story(Blade shards, candy corn, fortune scraps, suppourt tokens ….) we should can change after the linvingstory end to Festival tokens 5:1 or something
And all skins, minis, things we will get in next linvigstorys should be addet to the vendor so people who miss a living story can work later on it
pros:
- we dont have to store all this useless currencys in our bank after linvigstory ends
- people who miss livnig story can still work for the reward later

i would love a presence staus for:
- chat only friendlist, Guild, party
- mail only from friendlist,guild, party or Tradepost/gemshop
But there is progression. You work towards your legendary weapon.
this is no progress – its a carrot for pve casuals so they dont QQ bout no endgame content in this game
theres nothing legendary bout legendarys – its just a skin with the word legendary in tooltip and most dont even look good – most r silly and childish
so no – legendary is no progress
progress would be
- the wxp lvls in wvw
- the lvl 1-80 in pve + the new trait system
- archievement system + the account bonis
- luck (magicfind system 1-300%)
- maby getting asc items in pve or wvw
- for spvp this is gaining rank (1-80 dragon) or champ titles
all this is progress – something you get on your char or account to make it better, higher ….. whatever
gaining a skin has nothing to do with progress – its just a carrot
abd this is what arenanet dont understand or care about …. a mmo is all about PROGRESS
edit: oh and not to sound toooo bad – an suggestion: make ranksystem endless after rank 80 like wxp lvls would be a good start and give titels all 100 ranks
like
lvl 100 bronze dragon
lvl 200 silver dragon
lvl 300 gold dragon
lvl 500 legendary dragon
lvl 1000 legendary bronze dragon
….. and so on
atleast we would have some progress and not just a borefest with skinfarm only

precursors and legendarys are the Carrots for Goldsellers
i would not wonder when this guys control this markets with 1000´s of gold and just push the price to make more people buying gold from them
they sell gold to stupid people → stupid people buy precursor or legendary for same gold = Profit + can sell the gold again
i sold in last 2 months 5+ legendarys all in 3k gold range and all was sold in 1-2 days – as long as there are people in the world which dont care to use creditdcard for this the price will go up

the “bunker” guardian should always be in the teamfight for his supourt so ye when enemy go with 3+ people to your home than optimal would be you change your postition with the old homepoint defender
but only when your team goes there to fight (you will not bunker it you wanna supourt your team)
when 3+ go for your homepoint it would be better to ignore tham and outnumber enemy on mid/far^^

you fixed imunitys so they dont count on node-cap so why can this focus #5 freecap orb? thats absolut insane
guardian should not can freecap orb when is imun to attacks and it should stop the capping when he activate it while capping
and ye blabla – there are attacks in game which are unblockable – not everony has this and not everytime#

game-balance is in best state ever
sure there are still some “OP”-Builds but the overall balance is fine and fun and ALL Classes are viable
sure rune variety is cool but it is not more important than to make the game BALANCED
when only 1 rune (or 3-5) is used but makes everything viable/balanced than wtf is the problem?
this rune makes no class more op than any other class – so no i dont think it need a nerf AT MOMENT there are other things to have be looked at before
things like trait for more dmg on stunned targets for warrior or knockback spam from engis or gapcloser-spam from thiefs (s/d) or passiv procs from rangers …… and so on
seriously – strength runes are ok AT MOMENT and are a status Quo for pvp in this game
before nerf strength runes they have to nerf all this bunker builds + condibunkers
arenanet should change the name from Healing turret to CHAMPION healing turret – than all this Ant´s would kill it and noone even need to tell^^

i crafted alot legendarys and sold them all for something like 3k+ gold and they always sold in 1-2 days
people who know how to make gold in this game would never buy a legendary from tradepost
and when i see how much $´s people have to pay for 1000 gold on goldsellers (we all get spammed with this info ingame) than no wonder prices go up
2k gold is 130 euro or something?

Autoattack AFK in a zerg is very dynamic and interesting gameplay…
When someone can literally tab out for 30-60 seconds at a time, not die, and do 90% optimal performance, you done messed up somewhere.
but joining a ts with 100+ ppl trieing to organize for 2 hours all this ppl to do one supercool arenanet-world-event is more fun?
a game with the idea to bring everyone in same zone (megaserver) is countered by the idea to bring content which need high organisation
the result of this formula will never bring fun – its just annoying
better guide: kill 1 boss than go afk and watch a movie – come back later = profit
no loot so why botter to kill anything?^^
