I don’t disagree, but until rewards are equal, team queue will basically be solo queue. Why should a premade get stuck playing against a pug team? It’s not fun, unless you are one of those people who like 500-100 matchups.

it has a reasons why people in soloQ get only half rewards and have to paly kitten maps like skyhammer + spiritwatch. Its cause people in teamQ would have noone to play.
They made SoloQ (last Year) cause players was annoyed bout getting farmed by premades and left the game or have to play as a team vs pugs.
But after they made SoloQ they saw what a joke teamQ rly is and noone played it anymore so waittimes was always 10+ min – sometimes even 30min
they made soloQ half rewards + skyhammer to have canonfodder for the wannabe teams
Otherwise, why should anyone outside of the (official esports community) bother with it?
To watch others and try to get better from doing so?

biggest problem are the endless gapclosers on thief – special s/d thief
yes s/d theif need alot skill but the enemy just has no chance to leave the fight even when use ev erything he have – it is not possible to cc the thief and leave the fight even when land everthingy on him – the thief need just press a button and bam he TELEPORT like scotty direkt to his target
this ninja like gameplay is nice and fun but all this gapclosers should be changed to a more skill based gameplay – like skillshots and when not hit the target it use double initiative (like ride the lighning from ele)
uptime from blindfield on pistol is absolut op too and need to be changed

Yea it’s just frustrating more then anything when I read all the posts saying “I voted for phantaram and blu because I don’t know any of the others.” It’s like really?? All of these names are in the weeklies and have been in the big tournaments and you only know 2 people. One of which is a shout caster. Time will tell, maybe I’ll be surprised haha.

romek; I think you forget that people don’t always have people to team queue with. If they really want to force soloQ’ers into teamQ though, they should just place a daily cap on gold/etc in soloQ – not aids plague us with skyhammer.

skyhammer and spiritwatch + only half rewards from teamQ are in soloQ to kitten people and make them join in teamQ so teams have something to farm – teamQ would be dead when they would not force soloQ players to be canonfodder
arenanet is not stupid – they know when people dont accept the pvp system and leave the game after release than they will not recover from this (normal in all failed games)

even worse, the leaderboards are so bugged, they’re hardly something to go by to judge skill, there are people with less than 40 games and a shabby win rate on the leaderboards.

Seems understandable to me. If ArenaNet won’t remove the map after complaints from a majority of the competitive PvP community, protesting is reasonable.

no option – teamQ broken and fighting premades as a random was the reason arenanet made soloQ a year ago – cause alot people was quitting
If I wanted to win most of my matches, I know exactly what build I’d play. But because I want to have fun, I always play builds that probably won’t always give me wins.
Wasn’t there a thread earlier about someone making a new account to test the leaderboards? They went like 1-11 and got in the top 5. Leaderboards are absolutely broken.

this thread is not bout some 15 game people or even 100 games played
its about people with 1000+ games and more with a winrate 55% or more
soloQ leaderbaord is not broken or a gamble – you just have to learn to ignore the lower than 200 games played people
and yes to have 55%+ win lose with over 1k games, or be in top 100 for MONTHS, need alot skill and it is ALL ABOUT YOU – you have to carry and can´t be carried from your team like in teamQ or just be carried by teamspeak with team vs randoms
im not good enough for this (and i even to old for this^^) but when you ever played games in soloQ with Super(from carcrash), Rom, Sizer, TheChamp and some others than you would know it is possible to carry hard in this game …. and this people are not in top-leaderboard just cause they had luck … they are good .. and not only by playing there class good or playing there role good … they know whats going on on the map and can adapt to situations much better than other peoplez
leaderbaord in teamQ should be removed (and rewards for full teams lowered) when wanna talk bout leaderbaords
in teamQ all teams have super inflated rankings from farming randoms so Team-leaderboard is just a placebo to feel good while exploiting the broken system – and yes this system where solo/duo/triple players can join a teamQ is total broken
before they not make teamQ 5 people join only the leaderbaord is nonsense and soloQ leaderboard the only FAIR leaderbaord we have
edit: oh and yes, there should be ABSOLUT NO REWARDS when a full 5 man premade fight a random team
