i now know why spvp didn’t take off as an esport after watching it for the first time yesterday.
the main problem is, you can’t see kitten in this game, unlike say LoL where you can clearly see what is going on.
spvp needs a better camera to view the action (those “attached camera spectate views” are horrible) , and the game mode needs to be changed to allow for better view.
its more like combat to fast for viewers (and even for the players)
there are like 15 actions at a time while a viewer could realize only 1 or something
its annoying to watch cause noone understand whats going on – only thing viewers can follow is the downstate and the fight for the rezz^^

At this time spectators will not see standard models. This includes shoutcasters.
While there are some arguments to have this available in all PvP formats we want to see how this new feature is used by the high-end, skilled players at the top tier of PvP before considering rolling this out to the more broad PvP user base.

Watching <> playing. Most people watch PvP, rather than PvE. And since most of us acknowledge PvP is in a bad place right now, it’s hard to fathom how watching something will be as big a deal as playing it.
I posted this mainly because the EOTM guys will always complain when not ktraining and do everything in their power to strong arm people into it. They love the excuse they can play the game mode how they want— a fair ad valid point. However the moment a guild walks in to fight (I say fight we all know I mean farm free kills) it’s all, that’s not how we do it in eotm. Stop go back to regular WvW. You’re ruining EoTM and how WE play, no we don’t care how you play.
As long as they rage, QQ, continue to be hypocritical, and refuse to ask/be decent about telling guilds to stop instead of instantly cussing an raging at them. I will continue to farm you kittentards. Get Gud or go home.
P.s. While EoTM is PvE, it’s like the WvW PvE so don’t go in expecting to not get farmed. Even if you leave the instance we will find you I’m an kitten I know

this game is harder for older (not all) people cause combat is tooo fast
thats why everything in open wold get zerged – everyone jsut has to spam biggest aoe
but solo content you need fast reactions to dodge or interupt important things and to chain your skills

I think the point was that you CAN use the copper doubloon, so people bought all of the cheap copper doubloons. This means that the ones that are listed NOW are the older, expensive listings that no one wants.

someone tried to manipulate the price – copper price was always 1,50 silver and they buyd out and did some bids on 4-5 silver

An item called Grow Lump used to craft the new back pack was released with the patch. This item requires 25 sunstone lumps and a recipe. Someone or some people who were fast and could play the game right when the patch was released bought the recipe, read the ingredients and bought almost all the sunstone lumps from the market. The price spiked from 1s 30c to 25s.
Now, when that happens, usually people find alternative ways of obtaining the item, and in this case you could do it by refining sunstone nugget. However the price of these also spiked a lot so some players started creating sunstone nugget with copper doubloons again increasing their price. That’s what buttercup was referring to.
I made quite a lot of money during this patch. I mean I’m not the guy or guys who bought all the sunstone supply, I was not quick enough, but I bought something very related to it and got a bit of luck too.

The amount of speculation in this thread is unreal. No evidence of everything, and everyone is making stuff up. People are saying we’re not getting an update in two weeks. Maybe, maybe not. What we’re definitely not getting is a living story update.
And it’s funny. It’s the same people who say they don’t like the living story that are complaining it’s not coming out in another 2 weeks. One would have thought those people would be happy.
Of course, a big part of this is Anet’s fault for not communicating. In the absence of fact, people will make stuff up to fill the void. The bigger the void, the more stuff will be made up.
I’d wait till next Tuesday and see if we get our annoucement before assuming there’ll be no update in two weeks. Who knows it might be the kind of thing people who don’t enjoy the LS are complaining about.

2. map compelte all start areas
than you are like lvl 30-35 and can go to complete all the lvl 15 areas and you even have the story you can do
toooo much transmute stones, enchant powder, useless strentgh runspeed armors boosters, single merchant bank NPCs + this double scraps reduce the drop from real nice things – got only like 20 karma booster from 50 keys^^
they come from heavy moldy bags and they drop in cursed shore
more and more people realize they make much more gold with cursed shore farming than with dungeons (eazy 10g per hour or more) when competent comander – just follow
Tons of gold? Good one. Haven’t got tons of gold and maybe only about 1200 ranks in EotM. Anet should start to think some kind of EotM reward track (for example cool looking ascended gear sets and weapons. ) and some kind of EotM match statistics so we know who kill most enemies and who get lot’s of karma in match. EotM is most popular and best PvP game mode and deserve some support.

problem with a bank in mists is when they add one than pve, wvw people would use mists as a new hub for everything
so bring something like this airship or royal pass zone for the mists but give tickets for it in reward tracks OR activate it for the player for 3 days when he complete 2 tiers in a reward track (the max for 1 day in hotjoin)
so it only can be used by PVPers and PVPers would have absolut no problem to activate it
and when PVE or WvW palyers wanna use it they have to paly SPvpP atleast 1x every 3 days
ye blu you rly should try to ask the devs bout skyhammer in soloQ and how they think bout that everyone hate it and why they total ignore the player feedback

game tooo fast – to watch it and to play it (only some teens with super reactions can play it – others get most time frustrated) – people need invuls, stuns and stuff like this to spam and kill fast or get killed but no rly strategic counterplays in this game cause it is just to fast for humans^^
