Yet I use “pve” gold for pvp. Why is gold even considered a pve reward? It’s gold. I can use it for skins, finishers, and other cool pvp items off the AH or the gem store.

What they should do is make it easier for everyone. Don’t understand why people think grinding whether it’s skyhammer or legit for 2+ years to get 80 is a good thing.

Actually I am continually dropping. You must be at the top 100 and get grouped against easy wins to post this. Especially at less populated hours I get grouped against a stacked team while I am stuck in the team where 3 people run off point to chase 1 guy. I don’t expect to raise high in rank, but I do expect to have at the least a 50/50 win ratio. Not lose 5-10 games depending on play time to win one.

Well seeing all the fotm warriors jump ship will be entertaining. It will be fun to see where they go since they won’t find any refuge in thief (pun intended).

Probably necromancer since conditions didn’t seem to get nerfed too hard this patch.

My money is on either necro or mesmer. Probably all go PU torch mesmers too since those were probably one of the most annoying fights for warrior since they waste their stuns on clones or use earthshaker and give themselves 9 stacks of bleed and cripples.

Mesmer is just at easy as war and a good counter to. The problem is they aren’t as good for holding points.

It’s getting out of hand. My group died over 10 times at the CoF boulders because they are STILL invisible after months this bug has been ignored. I run this dungeon every day and it’s fricon frustrating to die every time at these boulders and hope to get lucky. I don’t understand why everyone including the players don’t complain. Maybe if they grinded CoF like the past it would be a bigger issue. I cannot be the only one ticked off by this bug.

Well they didn’t touch healing signet so bunker wars will still have complaints.

I just went back to a bunker build. Hammer doesn’t do much now so it won’t change anything.

We’re making improvements to the way matchmaking works to prevent ‘stacked’ rosters from occurring. I’ve been on the receiving end of these rosters in top 500, and it definitely impedes your ability to win a game.

I think that once we roll out our rewards improvements we’ll see players taking all queue types a bit more seriously. When time equals worthwhile rewards, you’ll want to spend your time in-game efficiently (winning).

To prevent 4v5 and other mismatches, we’ll also be lowering the amount of dishonored stacks a player is able to get before being penalized. The current limit is too high. I don’t think that’s the only change we’ll make to prevent mismatched games, but it’s a start.

I hope soon, as this is the biggest issue for me as all I do in pvp is solo q and losing 10 games to win 1 makes you want to not even try to win anymore and just do your own thing. It makes you lose interest because you can’t do it all yourself.

The wvwer’s won’t come to pvp. Wvw is way more unbalanced. Nothing like ganking a down lvl or a zergling.

The problem is, warrior is NOW viable and the whiny community cry for help because they play only the 1 year old builds.

erm the problem is that the warrior has no risk at all atm. he can have it all:cc,healing,toughness and power.
why are u even attacking the mesmer right now.yes in spvp we are a tough opponent, but we do have risks.

yes a a mesmer needs armor and toughness as spvp and wvw is not split and the current meta prevents us to go full berserk. but honestly please nerf all the clones and phantasms right away anet, so we can at least get buffs n other areas where we need them. i’d like a complete rework of our clkitten ai,less shatter, less rng based condis, so we can get at least 1 really strong wvw build which we lack atm!

As a mesmer playing through the recent meta I can say mesmer does not need toughness and armor. That’s why they have stealth and ports. Zerker actually does quite decent still. I have lost to a few warriors myself but have found counters to them on my mesmer. They do not need a nerf and s/d thiefs are more of a pain in the ….. then anything else at the moment imo.

Finally some people who actually know how to play the class.

Lost a 1 vs 1 to a mesmer, necromancer, thief, and a spirit ranger today on my op hambow warrior. Glad it’s getting nerfed. To strong against new players.

Well ranger has it’s problems against certain builds. It is good in dungeons though. I get a few evades and do more damage than my mesmer and warrior. I prefer my ranger in all situations, just have to adapt to trying new trait lines.

If you are focused in mid fight or 3+ you have no defense and will die fast (u have no teleports, u have no invis, and u have no mobility with this build), so this nerf is basically because people lose 1 vs 1. It’s unfortunate, but will probably force s/s and lb to do anything in this condi meta that people apparently enjoy since the biggest complaint is stuns. I guess they never heard of stability or evade or block.

Warriors are pretty strong right now, but will be seeing changes in an upcoming patch.

We like how they can be tanky, and we like how they can do DPS if they want. We also like the CC they can bring. We just don’t like them doing it all with 1 build.

Congrats whiners. Warriors are now a free kill again. Glad I don’t main warrior. Hammer is so easy to avoid and heavy burst classes are tough to beat on war but now warrior can join ele status.

Have you even played war? Healing signet alone is crap. Without the right traits you are a free kill. I have only found about two viable builds with traits that keep me alive. The rest of them are fail and and easily countered. Hambow is really the only good weap choice as well. Hammer is clunky and to slow alone.

Nerf war = condi dmg still dominates. Why is condi spam okay now?

Actually war is perfect as is. Conditions just need to be reduced all around and power/defense brought back up for other classes. This will shift the meta back to power builds which = funner pvp. A power/prec/tough amulet could help.

I really don’t see why everyone is focused on warrior. Nothing is really different. The class has always been strong. It’s just a bit easier to land stuff now.

All appearance items should be allowed in combat for many reasons.

1.) More money for Anet as I for one will never buy an item I can’t use in combat.

2.) More uniqueness for each character. It will give people a chance to look good all the time instead of being forced to wear an ugly outfit for combat. Some people don’t like the dungeon gear and let’s face it. There is not much choice in outfits with only one or two that even look half way decent.

3.) Will bring in more players who really care about what there character looks like at all times.

4.) Most of us don’t roleplay if you take out tarnished coast server. And if they want to roleplay, give them that option but don’t punish the rest of us.

5.) When you enter combat no one naturally flips into combat gear even if you are roleplaying so that kind of defeats the rp purpose.

These are just some of the reasons to add all outfits to combat. It would really do your game a favor in the long run. It’s only to bad this wasn’t an option to begin with.

It ’s to bad only 1 face choice is cute out of all the female Asura choices. At least they added a few new cute hair styles.

What’s wrong with a legendary? You don’t even know how it would be implemented and you already knock it off as a stupid pve grind. A legendary would be a great add on as it could be used to show who the hardcore pvpers are versus the casuals who just finish a daily.

SPVP and TPVP fps has dropped significantly since last patch for some users. I would run around 30 fps before patch and now drop to 12 when fighting other players. I have been forced to run everything on minimal graphics settings so I don’t drop below 10 fps.

The boulders in Citadel of Flame are not visible if you have your graphics low. This has been bugged since the patch that let you adjust the amount of characters on your screen in pve.

- Rewards such as gold by winning tournaments

- One big reward that ANYONE can obtain such as legendaries but make it take a long time (a few months, not years)
