If on EU, there is also a thread, though I only did a run once or twice atm, the more people join, the more often we can all group and go
Ahyes, you’re right. I can never find the thread though XD seen it once or twice max. Could you link it perhaps? So we can both see.
Considering the time you posted this, I do expect you to be from na server, in which case I agree with the suggestions above. If this is not the case however I would be willing to help out, I enjoy the dungeon, whether you’re good or new, I’m willing to help out with all paths no matter how long it takes. Just give a hauler.
I suggest dodging sideways more, personally I have done several solos, also when lupi was at that spot, try to start dodging sideways instead of into him, he he won’t get too far into the door that way, in p2 its not really useful anyways.
mesmer focus have a huge z axis limitation with a long cool down and needs to be traited to reflect. Unless the player have lots of experience with the focus, then the player will more likely not be effective. Although I made my build for focus, I stop traiting for it and use this

This is much more reliable than focus at critical moments.
Why not both? , but yes you are right, if the mesmer is skilled with it, it can be usefull though, adds usually come from the edges to the middle, a well placed veil can do well
( not to block projectiles, mind you, to group up adds only)

I would also recommend using veil on the mesmer focus to group up the adds, then put up glamour around them, taking the eles down quickly with some aoe is vital, otherwise it will become messy.
aside from that ofcourse the engi can use his elixer and hope for a reflection wall

Reset can still happen near that door, I got it twice in a row yesterday while soloing.
Thats good/bad to know, depending on the way you look at it, anyways thanks for the info, I seem to not know as much about the theory behind lupi.
Very surprised how much the illusions helped you. Always expected they would have made it harder (grubs and added lifesteal).
Also surprised you let him stay in that one door during p2, everytime I left him there for more than 5 seconds he’d go and reset himself :S.
People told me that the grubspawn would have been annoying, but lupi mostly targets the person with the most damage/toughness, although the toughness was the same. Because I shattered the illusions quite often, and they were destroyed by the swarms, lupi didnt really get the chance to target them during the first phase. (when I sometimes started with an illusionary warden I had to reset him because he instapopped a grub on him)
the part with the door is history I think, before last patch he was able to reset, however, I think that is no longer the case.
you don’t have the thief that soloed lupi
As good as the thief solo was, it was not officially a solo, considering he was helped with the ressing, I believe wethu will only post it if its officially done 100% alone.
So I tried out the mesmer solo, turns out its not that bad, most of my build can be found in the video and description, rest can be messaged for.
How hard dungeons are usually depends on teams aswell, CM can really be made a lot easier with guardians or mesmers because of their reflect.
Nontheless, I would say that in order of difficulty, we’re looking at:
1. CoF (p3 is only annoying, not necessarily hard)
2. CM ( with aid of mesmers/ guardians can be simplified)
3. TA
4. HoTW ( didnt seem like much of a big deal to me)
5. CoE( subject alpha has been made easier, most paths should be ok)
6. AC ( getting a lot of difficulty comments since patch)
7. SE ( don’t know much about it, but without relfects can be a real pain)
8. Arah ( considering Lupi is on every path, groups tend to consider it the hardest one)
FoTM is difficulty scaling based so cant really be easily put in a ranking.
again, I dont know much of SE, so dont count on it.
In terms of mechanics it won’t be changing after the level you’re currently on, most mobs will just increase in level and numbers. Plus you know the agony will become stronger.
I actually enjoy the grawl fractal a lot, mostly because the bosses require some actual effort
I set a little record for the guardian lupicus solo, can anyone do faster? Dont hesitate to contact me if you can.
(edited by Sanderinoa.8065)
I have recently soloed lupicus as a guardian with the mace and sword, if anyone is interested, I think it is a great way to keep in close combat while sustaining survivability, if having problems with close combat using just a sword, like obal100 did recently. So if any guardian is having problems with lupicus or thinking of attempting a solo, you can look at the video.
