good rewards in pvp where pvp players benefits from(without having to pve). getting skins is almost impossible now. Lets talk about rewards that keep pvp players logging in every day to try to get those rewards.

Currently you only get very little money and lots of boxes which give more boxes which gives random stuff which we don’t need

Hey everyone.

I’m looking for a team. The previous team I was in had some roster issue’s and we mostly had a hard time finding the 5th player. After a while most of the other people didn’t want to play anymore :<

So I’m looking for a new team
- I play power necro (can play condi but in my opinion power is way more usefull)
- Top 50 teamQ
- High ranked soloQ (currently top 25)

The team I’m looking for a team that is highly motivated to play and to get better at the game. Also I would love to join the big tournaments. The team should be aiming for spot at like top 25 teamQ.

They should focus more on stuff that is always going on and always accessable for everyone. Which would make it worth to play every day.

Currently you can only play train for the next tournement where only the top 0.1% of the game can actually get something :<

PvP isn’t rewarding in anyway. All we have is PvE rewards (1000 times the same skin) or very little money. And a leaderboard which works bad….

I wonder how many games you need to win in SoloQ to farm a legendary by PvP only.
Just some random numbers (cus im borred)

Lets say your legendary is 3000g
Lets say you get 20s each soloQ(thats the normal money+reward track)

3000 00/20

Thats 15000 games of SoloQ for a legendary. Well if someone after 2 years could show me a picture of playing 15000 games i would be very impressed

Lets say your game average = 8 minutes

means 2000 hours of NONSTOP soloQ for a legendary, man life as a gw2 pvp sucks ^^

At this time spectators will not see standard models. This includes shoutcasters.

While there are some arguments to have this available in all PvP formats we want to see how this new feature is used by the high-end, skilled players at the top tier of PvP before considering rolling this out to the more broad PvP user base.

Maybe a public test server for top tier players would help with this, same for the balancing. Many other games do this as well

Well I wouldn’t say its OP or not. I would say it is unbalanced.

Lets look at the following numbers.

Celestial amulet gives:3038
Berserker amulet gives:2340
Any other amulet:2208

Celestial amulet gives 27% more stats then a non berserker amulet….

In this case you would look at which stats are use full. For like a necro healing power wont do that much or most thief builds don’t do much condi dmg.

So what happens in this case it’s not worth it. But if you want lets say your whole team on celestial you would have to all use classes which work best for it.

in MY opinion the classes that have most potential from celestial
Ele,
Warrior,
Engi,
Ranger,

By doing this you have 5 times 27% more stats then the enemies.

In numbers(lets say you have 2 zerker 3 other amulets in a normal team):
3×2208=6624
2×2340=4680
total of 11304

Celestial x5= 15190

thats 3886 more, that is almost enough for 2 non zerker/celestial amulets

This looks really unbalanced to me….
In facts your almost fighting a 5v6 based on amulets

This would kind of kick all of the classes that don’t use celestial to full potential in a lower tier in the meta.

i have some questions to all:

-what do you think your class is missing and how should it be fixed or is it at the right spot(as balancing)?

-do you think arenanet is currently doing a good job for pvp in the game?(balance/rewards/update/events/community interaction wise) and why?

-what do you want for arenanet to have as #1 priority right now in pvp?

In a necro power build about 1-3 of the minor traits are use full. out of 7 , that kinda sucks

at 25% hp u get 1 might for 5 seconds …… and that trait even is a 5(earlier 25) point one

reroll to diff class… even if you would have a good build or something, they would still rather want some other class that gives the party buffs or does more dps

its very sad to say tho… i played necro for over 1.5 years and i recently made a warrior just for pve dungions… and i noticed, its way stronger

At least when its almost to late… you will gain 1 whole might for 5 whole seconds …. for what reason? I really wonder who came up with this and what was his/her idea behind it

well if u queue at around 3-5am during a week day then the queue time is around 10-18minutes and the setup is about the same… than its kind of understandable

but when its prime time and I even see other streamers get into matches with other higher ranked player than I don’t get it

The rewards
Currently the rewards are worth nothing.. it’s some RNG thingy which most SPvP players don’t need and PvE players are not interested in. This way PvE players will never come to SPvP. Only the baltazhar backpack was interesting for everyone because it was a new skin for PvP only. At that point I thought ArenaNet finally got the hang of it and would make more of those… wrong… There should be more rewards like that. Or even maybe tracks that can give way better rewards with way more tiers. Like precursors maybe? with like 40 tiers instead of 8? We don’t need dungeon tracks that give items most of us already have for over a year and a half.

Statistics
Almost EVERY game that has PvP shows which player made how many kills, assists, dmg, healing, deaths and so on. Why doesn’t have guildwars this? Without these statistics how can new players see if they are doing it good or bad or what they need to change in their gameplay? Or how is it even possible to get E-sports without these?

Transforms
simply why doesn’t a transform has the same timer indication as a boon?

As you can see here. Stability is halfway and good to see but the transform(plague in this case) is also halfway but there is no way to see it unless u hover your mouse on the icon. Like you have time for that during a battle. Also some people say you can see the timer by your stability. But what if someone else gives you more time of stability or removes the boon…

Necro second HP bar
There is currently no way to see if a necro is in deathshroud or not. this is very hard for his own team and the enemy team.

Simple fix for targeted bar. Do something like that in the party UI as well. (yes I know I’m like the worst person with paint and I’m proud of it
Numbers in HP bar
Why should I have to guess how much HP someone has? If you play a lot you can guess it by their build/class but that’s just stupid and very hard for new people that just started playing SPvP.

Leaderboards
This just works completely stupid. Lots of people (including myself) which are high rated in the leaderboards only play 1 or 2 games each couple of days. Why? simply because it’s not worth it. If we win we hardly go up. If we lose we lose a lot. Combined with it taking about ~10min each queue when you’re not in primetime makes it really lame. Also dropping out of leaderboards for not playing is kinda lame. I drop from #5 soloQ to #100 within 1 week. And when I play 1 game I’m around #5 again… That’s just a lame way. As last for leaderboards: It shouldn’t be possible to get an account with like 11 wins into top 10 right away…It should take way longer to reach the top and not just 11 games.

I’m into SoloQ top 25 with necromancer. There is no way for me to learn other classes or builds now, unless I want to waste my rating or get a second account… This is just stupid.

Matchmaking
Because PvP is not that interesting anymore and more stuff(like the above) makes it that matchmaking takes forever and somehow top 100 players end up with people not even in top 1000 or even players that are new PvP…. This only makes frustration from both sides… Top 100 playes rage because they play with “noobs”. And the new players or the less good can’t have a normal casual game without being yelled at.

Yes we finally got a deathmatch map…. but its hotjoin only… no wait not even hotjoin its custom arena only… So you have to pay big money to play deathmatch… wait what? and it’s not even in ranked matches….

4v5 matches
A match shouldn’t be able to start 4v5…. Lots of ways to fix this like accepting the match start and more stuff like that.

Distance to target
Almost every game shows how far you are away from your target. This is very use full specially for new players. No clue why guildwars 2 doesn’t show it.

TP/bank in HotM
Its just QoL

Replace hotjoin with a SoloQ without ranking
Currently new pvp players will see hotjoin as first thing they play. Which means they will get into a lot of 4v5 matches, people using autobalacing tricks and people of way higher MMR. This is not really fair. There should be a leaderboardless soloQ mode where people can learn there way around in pvp without all those downsides to hotjoin.

There is a chance of 5 people being bad on the enemy team and there is only a chance that 4 people are bad on yours… (if you’re saying that you’re no bad) so in that case u will lose some but win more

On the other hand. I totally agree on the remake of leaderboards it works really bad now…

Second bar under the current bar wouldn’t take that much space (it can be smaller than the normal bar)

Hey guys, It’s been a couple of weeks since the website is up. I had allot of feedback, thank you very much for that. I improved the website quite allot and I made a live map.
The live map has some different things compared to the other live maps.
This one has ways to better indicate the activity of a server on a borderlands.
More statistics about the objects.
The vulnerability buff timer is only off by a 1-2 seconds (while most sites are off by 10-15)
