What are you talking about not fighting each other? I killed plenty of SoS in that fight.

All around that was an awesome battle at garrison. SoS almost took it after we did all the work. It was intense.

By the way…I vote we should change the name of one of you guys. It is getting really confusing trying to keep SoS and SoR straight….I feel like JQ is at a disadvantage from this

Orbs were broke because they let the dominant server be… more dominant, plus they couldn’t stop people from hacking the orbs.

There are more solutions to the problem you outline than:

- leave them as-is
- remove them from the game

I didn’t mention a solution to the problem =D
I see why they were removed, they said they were going to rework them and bring them back, however that’s been a long while now.

They have addressed this and acknowledged the queue’s are not a line, and someone who queue’d after you can get in before you. I’m looking around for an updated post to see if they made any progress but this is the latest I can find.

I don’t know how its happening but I have to agree with this. Yesterday there was a 5 minute queue on TCBL when I was switching alts. As I logged back in the commander was asking everyone to come to the citadel WP. After what seemed forever waiting and calling all TC’ers there was approx 20 people there and a handful doing their own thing elsewhere. We had no towers or camps… sor had them all. Yet with only the handful of us there, there was still a 5 minute queue… I dont know but something isint right.

Not sure, but from what I understand the queue is not exactly a line, more like we are all stuffed animals in a claw machine and the hand just reaches down and grabs one of us. (so pretty much the cooler looking toys get picked first) =P

Stack turtling hasn’t been very good since they capped aoe heals.
It’s decent in certain situations where you got a choke point but other than that it’s not very optimal.

Servers… BG, JQ, or SoS would be nice.
I really don’t care which server, there are several guilds I’d like to see in action though.

For all the animosity displayed here on the forums between the two servers, I must say TC and SoR seemed to work quite well together out in SBI BL. It was rough-going for a bit as we tried to defend the garrison from the SoR zerg while TC came through hitting our towers and camps. Reminds me of the “old” days in T1 when SoS and JQ would gang up on SBI.

Either way, fun fights. I’m quite proud of my fellow “Steelballs” Isle players who’ve stuck it out for better or worse!!

No offense, but having your server out of t2 will help us as much as getting rid of SoR. Don’t expect too much mercy till this boring matchup is done.

Last week SoR repeatedly exploited culling to defeat TC’s zerg. They would all run away until their models unloaded, then all rush back together dropping everyone before they even appeared on our screens. They would constantly drop portal bombs on us. Yes, their coordination should be applauded, but if these are the kind of pathetic ‘strategies’ needed to stay competitive then I sincerely hope that TC drops back down the league tables so that we can actually get a fair fight.

You keep saying we are abusing culling, we see the same crap you do probably.
It’s not like we have special magical culling powers, our “pathetic” strategy is our builds, attack patterns/movements and trying to work around culling since we are attacking invisible enemies as well.

It’s reset night, its the most fair you will see the match up all week.
SBI may be hurting, but TC shouldn’t have any issues filling BL’s

Actually, if we were as focused on the “PPT Metagame” as SoR is, all of TC should leave the field, let you ROFLStomp to T1 this week, and let you deal with all the problems, strife, and consternation you are afraid of dealing with now.

I’ve “made my peace” with the state of things on the battlefield – I will fight tooth and nail alongside my TC brothers and sisters (and yaks) in TCBL and/or EB when I choose and if I feel like it so long as there are enough people both with and opposing me for some fun fights.

But on the forums? Yeah honestly I’d rather see BG’s “We’re PvDoor #1” juvenile trash talking to the false sympathetic, patronizing kitten we’re getting from SoR these days.

Unless you mess with their dolyaks, then they can be a lil nasty.

Superior Arrow carts are 40 supply, if you can’t get four people then there may be other issues. Also there are guild buffs that give +5 supply that do not cost very much influence.
I do agree the outmanned buff need to be completely overhauled.
It’s actually a bad idea to let the enemy see it, as it usually provokes more attacks since they know you are now f’d for people.

This thread has turned into troll bait.
I haven’t spent much time in wvw cuz I knew the increased numbers on SoR and decreased numbers on SBI would create a serious lopsided fight.
One thing that happens when SoR or most servers are winning is their non-wvw population starts hopping into WvW and chest pumping. When we were fighting BG before we couldn’t get q’s on reset night now we have them on 2 or 3 borderlands everynight for a short time and EB a lot longer.
When we get to tier 1 and get a tougher fight, I’m sure our q’s will die back down quite a bit from all the win riders going back to farm fractals or whatever else the pve kids do when we fight tougher opponents.

What I don’t understand Katsumoto is your angle here.
Your proposing small groups should be able to dominate larger groups just because they are smaller?
Its World versus World, not 5v5. It should promote working as a army.
There is sPvP for that, also hopefully soonish Guild vs Guild.

Just don’t see a valid complaint here, yes larger groups will essentially counter smaller groups, the advantage on small groups is you can be in more places at once.

Siege already has no max targets, and superior arrow carts and ballistas can do the job just fine.

You know what I do when I see arrow carts and ballista?

I run past them and kill the person sitting on them…those siege weapons can be easily dodged/evaded…

Ya know what I do when I see someone running over to my siege operator?

I run to them and kill the person attacking him/her…those runner can easily be cc’d/immobilized…

So… ya I countered your counter… your move sir.

I don’t see too many any more, but just I just report them.
Also the flying around hack stuff isn’t happening as much either.
Most of that was a larger issue when there were orbs.

Really a shame, I missed fighting you guys in T2, plus you could fight BG off when we had no coverage =D
