Nah man, we are just getting warmed up, was all that celebrating we did over our win from last week. =P

On SoR right now on Yaks Bend since reset.
We have pretty much been fighting exclusively Yaks Bend since GoM has like 6 people on the map that I’ve seen. Yaks just pulled both our keeps, one with 5 siege golems.
GoM is simply the underdog in this fight. SoR pulled a super close win the last hours of last round so they been pushing us pretty hard this time =D

Plus we had like 2 hour q times tonight, pretty sure Yaks was full too.

Hello all.
There was a move, but to kind of get out in the open what happened a little the move to SoR was a vote by the guild, Akadios was all about building up the SoS server NA population. However over 70% of the guild wished to leave. We voted, we moved.
I was actually at the head of this move somewhat, I personally do not like server hopping, however for most of us it was simply a bad match.
Definitely will miss Kjuston, Ramp and TG.

I have never liked gear progression in PvP.
If you can’t rely on skill and teamwork you be playing the wrong game.
WoW’s biggest fail with PvP is the gear progression, the best players get the best gear furthering the gap between pvp’er and others. The end result? Less pvp participation.

In pve content your facing scripted fights that never change in difficulty or mechanics.
You can out gear the fight with little cry from most people.
In pvp it pushes the less crazy pvp crowd away, leaving a smaller PvP community =(
Especially in WvW I’d prefer max participation, and if gear is the only progression or point for playing a game, you may want to hop back on WoW which is soley focus’d on gear progression.

Couple things could have happened.
One is… you died near a WP, 80% of the time I res people near a way point, they are afk and just die again, which can be its own fun mini game because later you will run back and see them in the same place naked because ppl keep ressing them.
Two. I don’t read chat much, I am always in Team Speak which I have a bad habit of not reading chat.
Three my /map channel is turned off. It’s like WoW general chat, I use to just turn it off because it there was rarely anything worth reading.

I have to say I have had more luck with the later levels though, I have run into more helpful people than trolls, especially in the later zones where the mobs get much tougher.

Gear grind is a little heavier than I wanted however there are so many paths to get them, karma, pvp, crafting, dungeon marks and trading post. I found PvP marks the longest to get since I fail at noticing the bags a lot of the times, dungeons next because I can only run a dungeon about 3 times before I’m done with that for the night, plus everyone always wants to run the easiest and fastest, so the others are hard to get groups for.
The trade post items are cheap enough, super obtainable, crafting in this game is actually decently easy as well. You could do all the content in the game in rares without much issue and rares are stupid cheap right now.

I always considered Guild Wars as a PvP focused game so seems pretty meh.
If your server is getting their teeth kicked in that badly it is probably because they have too many PVE-only players. Get away from what your use to some and show some server pride and support the wvw some and get your explorer achievement. Who knows, there may be a little PVP’er hiding deep down inside ya.

PVE-only player whining about having to PVP in a PVP focus game.
If your server is getting wiped out every round it may be a participation issue because too many people are PVE only, show some pride and support your server, who knows you may even get your precious star in the process. =D

Almost all of them in which you can get a close enough look show Sanctified Wrath as the guild. Judging from the time stamps on some of these, they have been getting away with this for weeks.

Did some searches for GoM hacker, and in all the pics its a human female with short blond hair. Sure that doesnt meant its the same person but… whatever, here are some links.

So we are grabbing the orb for fun just to run around with it till it despawns and GoM is building siege at the orb site to protect it =P

Yay they have 3 orb bonus now.
Lightsbane, we dont need to cheat to get the orb, house is checked, if we were doing it we would have at least one orb right now.

Still not sure why they havent fixed the orbs at least, or remove the bonus till this kitten is fix’d

Ya i saw it happen, completely garbage, posted a bug report after the first one and then the second one… hopefully they do something about this.
Was in guild Sanctified Wrath, GoM server.

I play Mag borderlands almost exclusively this round and I cant speak for the other borderlands but TC has no love for Maguuma there =D
Last match up was against Dragonbrand, in which Mag and TC were a bit outmatched.
We would be sitting at lake tower getting trebbed by Maguuma and Dragonbrand at the same time nearly everyday.
We have also found some GOON members on our server sitting at the waypoint in the borderlands. Weren’t sure if they were spying or what so the group I was with stopped using team and map chat as a precaution.
At the start actually it looked like Mag and TC went right for each others throats off the bat giving EB a good lead the first night.
