GW2 lacks a cost like DAoC had. Same with upgrade.
Its funny how all mesmers was just there hiding…for hours and hours. Or several keeps/towers in a row…

After some testing on my thief. It seems that the sigil cant proc when using the shortbow and autoattack. It procs fine with pistols.
Anyone got similar issues?
Well it doesn’t look very good. It seems like the legendaries were made by women for a community of mostly male gamers. So many legendary look like 3 yo girl toys.

Thieves aint ment to be doign condition damage I assume. Besides DB that aint really that good, then its just meh. Everyone else is outdoing you condition wise. Not to mention the really limited condition abilities. And that poisons dont stack outright kills the thief condition wise for good.
Basicly you go Knight or Berserker.
Nerf clusterbomb? Then I also want daggers to aoe attack like basicly any other weapon. And I want a higher HP pool than the lowest. And I actually want a skillset worth using under water. Not to mention weapon skills worth using besides 1 or 2 in a set.
Also clusterbomb is basikittenhe only thing left for theives to use in sieges.
Todays patch was quite abit of a huge letdown. Only 1 exploit was fixed and that was somewhat very minimal.
There is no legendaries in the game I want. Too ugly.
Since players got te ability to move NPCs. Atleast guardians. Then its bound to go wrong.
On FA she is usually in the bush hidden at the plaza teleport.
Getting around 60fps all the time with a GTX680 in 1920*1200.
As as other have mentioned, workstation GPU….not a gaming GPU. Not to mention the V9800 is an outdated card.
I would recommend a GTX670.
One of the key problems is the orb issue. When one got 3 orbs its close to useless to fight back. When we had 3 orbs I could litterly mow down people on pure easymode. When you fight one that got 3 orbs, you can barely make a dent in them.

If you can fight someone that cant find back due to the limitations of server/client communication and rendering. Then in my eyes they could just as well fly, speed, teleport, haste, underground hack like the rest. Same thing in my book.
Also portals, ride the lightning and an underwater thief skill can bypass gates. maybe there are more. But hey, just part of the gaming experience.
Its a very known issue. The official statement is “working as intended”. And a “viable tactic”. Not to mention "part of the gamign experience.

I guess its a limit in the Client/GFX engine. Since there is a mod out there arcoding to other threads that shows a name tag over the invisible peoples head. So the client knows that someone is there. Plus we see the effects from AoE etc from those people.
It got nothing to do with your PCs hardware or internet connection, thats for sure.
Ye those portals….I still dont get how someone at ArenaNet thought it could be a good thing to give players. Talk about backfire…
The same portal is also being used to bypass alot of mechanics to avoid free/easy hard to get loot.
You got the main issue right.
D/D is direct damage and should not have a condition-based dual skill, similarly P/P should stack conditions.
DB and Unload basically need their effects swapped to be viable with their weapon’s playstyle.I hope to hear devs on this too.

I got 110%. Rune of divinity is bugged and 6 runes gives you 18% and not 12%.
And thats without orbs in weapons or using food.
The antibot code solution kinda shows that ArenaNet dont really have the ability to see what people are doing. Also explains all the blatant exploits that keeps going on.
All they did was to penalize regular non cheating players.
Dungeons also got a huge nerf that even messes up people that never did it before. 5 people, here are your 60/60/60/30/15 tokens for the first run. 2 of you will lose, one of you really badly.
I thought Orr was just a beta for an unreleased expansion.
As with most parts. ArenaNet didnt really think things through.

And I get plenty of customers.
Also scamming is banable. So if you agree on something, mail it etc and you keep it. Then you get banned. Plain simple.
Rightclick, destroy.
In WvW its also marginal at best. Conditions can be easily removed. Not to even mention AoE removed by combo fields. Plus they can be outhealed/regeneration.
And the light combo field is one of the most used.

In BWE atleast it as a drop. Now I only think its PvP and Storyline.
The reason is transmuation stones on the gems tore. Its getting so commercialized that what you can craft is just utter horrible.
Ankle shots aint 3 seconds. Its 1 second. Bug or wrong tooltip.
The few blues unless you directly gear for magic find is a joke. I really dont get ArenaNets concept. Its a mockering of regular players.
So the mod actually makes you aware of all the users. Its just the client itself that cant show it? Interesting? Another stab at the clients limited abilities.
So what now, we all need to download this mod to play?

Yep, I got 60 today, other got 30 and 15. And they didnt run it before, nor eysterday.
Seems atleast 2 of the 5 people get screwed over.
Seems we need to grind more to keep the game alive.
If you only get 60 tokens a day and do something else. Then you need what? A solid month just for some armour set?

Try do a shootout vs a warriour for example. just shoot 1. Warriour will do both more direct and conditional damage.
Seems the thiefs only real bonus is we can spam the same skill a few times in the start. And then it just goes downhill from there.

There is a reason why you got so many chests and the keys can be bought for gems.
Its clearly part of the gaming experience. No exploits there!
I havent seen a single person using hacks get banned yet. Even from our own server.
That you can stay stealthed like other games…

But then the rest would have to be like in DAoC too.

Its because you also use it in sPvP I assume.
There is another problem tho with the runes. They add 3% and not 2% critical damage. Only the tooltip says 2%.
Its just regular client manipulation since the client and server seems to do no checks. I guess the issue is that players can teleport and such. So to avoid extra server overhead its just a free for all.

fakenanetAs we tried to retrace the so called “exploit” with the mesmer portal spell on our testing server (with a group of 5guys vs 5guys) we couldnt find any abuse of such a tactic.This tactic works as intend and has verfied as quiet weak as you can easily throw area of effect damage on the mesmer portal.

Actually superiour HW or connections doesnt help at all. I can sit in a huge battle getting 60FPS with a GTX680+i5-3570K in 1920*1200 and still not see people. Both new and people that have been there for a while.
Looking at Anets response, I have a bad feeling its a limit of the client/engine they cant fix.
Another good example is the Claw of Jormag. Try go there with alot of people and see. You never see all people, far from. Just the animations with no visible people when the character count goes beyond 30 or 40.
Alot of, if not all kils seems bugged. 900 range aint 900 range in another skill or on another class for example. Skills applying conditions they shouldnt. And skills that should apply one doesnt at all.

The client limit is what? 30-40 people? It simply cant render more. In big battles you sometimes wonder where the enemy is. There was a nice screenshot from another person only showing alot of AoE effects and such. But no players.
And thats not in a new battle or anything, that was a continual siege.
After testing Ruby Orb and Divinity set on my armor there is one hidden piece of info. Or maybe its a bug. I get 6% more crit dmg with divinity set even though they should be identical. I’m thinking the 10 to all stats is altering something on top of the 2% per rune to give more to crit damage. It was an expensive test since I started out full divinity, went ruby orb, now back to divinity.
IMO Divinity is still the best DPS rune set.
Divinity is broken. They nerfed it but only did so on the tooltip.
So does the color green win is game? Last week, FA was green and we were dominating and all of these screens show green as the dominant world.
Maybe the highest ranking server gets green?
Video and screenshots showing other players gets removed by moderators.
I doubt Anet got any handling/logging at all on speed, teleports and such.
Not if they are placed at the lord. Another little trick.
