Since you are so clever at math. What is 50% more of say 5K dmg. And what is 15% more on say 1 5K dmg and 4 750dmg.
Sounds like the “phase” exploit. And getting up there requires the climb or flyhack.
Other classes would do the same, if they didnt have a colddown.
And with 5 skills, its not exactly a whole lot of options.
For example in WvW I almost never use anything besides 1 and 2 on the shortbow. And since 1 is auto attack…
If a thief had twice the HP, condition builds might be good.
But a thiefs life is basicly kill before you get killed. And with the low HP pool you better kill fast.
Also as said, conditions can be transfered, healed, removed.
Problem is WvW is still broken. Guards are too weak. Upgrades too weak. Some classes can solo camps for example. Also the guards doesnt change like in DAoC compared to how much is owned. And lastly the orbs wvw bonus is a killer.
Guards shouldnt defend for you vs x numbers, but on the other hand you shouldnt just roll over them either.
3 servers is whats needed. Problem is just that ArenaNet forgot the rest.

Bugger me crazy. Now DB alter is destroyed too and cant be repaired with Orb either.
Today we had a fun bug. In FA borderlands we got the orb at garrison. However something destroyed the altar. (No it wasnt quaggans and lightning since we controlled them all.).
I picked up the orb to put it back. But it wasnt possible as it normally is. After the timer the orb reset, and as expected we lost it as soon as another keep was taken.
How dare people demand a working product. Lets smithe them!

I think you forgot another other classes too.
Personally I would prefer no haste, no stacking might and no 150% signet. However, poisons should stack.
I think its pretty obvious it was an exploiting player. That guildname aint helping either lol.
Its just sad to see hacks nomatter what server. And unfortunately 1 hacker ruin it for 99 others. And its destroying WvW fast. People simply quit.
I play from Denmark on a US server. No lag for me.
If anything, it should have been US and Asian servers. With South Korea or so for the Asian servers.
I would play in blood to play a DAoC 2.0 :|
Hell, even a DAoC classic with updated engine/textures.

Main problem is that the server seems to have zero checks on what a client requests. So ArenaNet needs to fix their server code so a client just cant request anything it likes. As seen with specially teleport hacks.
The simple fact that clients can manipulate speed, z axis, teleport, noclip and even apply certain skills permanently is utterly absurd. The only hack that I can see ArenaNet be excused for is the FoV one. But the rest is simply extremely poor and sloppy work.
And when you look on some of the forums of such hacks. Then we got 2 kinds of people hacking.
One is the obvious one going full bore basicly. The others are like this guy:
“Each speed increase, increases speed by how much? I want to make sure I’m not going over 33% speed increase.” Not to mention the jump to dodge hack.
So basicly perma swiftness that almost nobody would notice.

Stun can also have this effect, so you get “stuck”. Its been there quite a while, but seems like the invisible bug its starting to grow on its own.
Again, let me point at DAoC.
Could we atleast get a report option for hacking?
Ink Shot. And I, like others have reported it ages ago. But as you see in patch notes….no fix.
I´m just curious about the rationale with Migth stacking. Warriours know the same and a few other classes. I seen some run around with 9-10 stacks.
I would just wish that the Maguuma ranger(now reported) wouldnt have hacked his way up to me and killed me.
Else from what I have seen its been a relatively exploitfree evening.
Can't unlock the vault door at the end of the jumping puzzle post patch.

I started to shoot/hit in blind, because suddenly there is something, you just cant see it.
My GF was exploring Black Citadel today, and in every of the instances in the central tower. When she walked to the door to get out, there was no option. Only option was to teleport out.

No exploit, one of our Mesmer has a little hidden spot in this area, got there, waited for you to take it then made a portal.
First time the zerg followed, second time (this screenshot) we were only 4 or 5 at first and he had to redo the portal multiple times for the force at the ram to understand what the kitten was going on.He showed us this hiding spot so we can check it each time we go there.
Oh the classic story……
As an FA person I feel disgusted. I wonder if thats why we rule the entire map today.
For me it only screams that the entire outer wall shouldnt be there :o
The portal simply doesnt belong to the game. Same can be said however about other skills. But specially with the invisibility problems, portals becomes a click to win skill.
I keep getting the feeling that the render engine simply cant handle it. Meaning there wont be any fix.
They should fix this also(as if they can, they can’t even admit it).
Or atleast put a proper option in report menu in this kind of thing.
And its getting so widespread. I stopped with WvW mainly due to the constant hacks and exploits. And PvE is close to get the same fate. Good thing I preordered XCOM.
Then there is all the unfixed issues, culling, and the other invisible thing that sure aint culling. Did I mention the masses of bots too?
Only my GF and I are left in our guild. Then we found new friends outside the guild. They are basicly gone too now…

The Orbs immense power makes it undesireable to play against those with all 3.
HS on 1 second would mean base travel speed of a Thief to be what, 150%?
People will always say another class is OP. I just wonder how Mesmers and Warriours avoided huge nerfs yet.
One thing the Thief got against it tho is the stealth. People dont like when something you cant see comes out and burst damage you.
The Pauldrons are the crafted lvl400 leather armour. I assume the rest is as well.
The solution is to plug the holes the hackers use. Its not just about orbs, but also puzzles, pvp etc.
might as well move all towers beside Stone mist further away as well, and Reds keep back more. As i did hear devs didnt intend for people to use towers/keeps/castles to claim others. Atm thats all i see in WvW now days, very rarely do i see trebs on the ground trying to take these places.
I never understood the tower/keep to tower/keep warfare. But it fits so well that ArenaNet must have done it intentionally.
For me its just another part that ruin WvW.

I know warrious have alot of problems with rifles too. And for example as a thief, I cant hit with my pistol, but I can hit with my shortbow.
I reported quite a few too. They still run around weeks after.
I can confirm that. Wanted to show my GF some shields for her warriour. They do the same on the cultural armour.
Got same issues.
Superior balista can also oneshot some classes
Maybe he meet a speedhacking thief. Just a wonder how he could avoid the speedhackers of every other class tho.
Also my bet is the OP is a Mesmer that didnt win like he is used to.
