Incorrect. Guild Wars was, and most likely always will be a PvP game. In fact, ArenaNet wishes to turn it into an eSport. The game is very much balanced around PvP.

Those are the drakehounds, thats for sure. I assume you reported him for exploit.
His headpiece also looks like the noble set.
A note is that the blood sigil doesnt work on the shortbow. Else I would recommend blood actually due to heals. I had fire before on my shortbow, not really that great. And it doesnt work with poison, cluster bombs, shadowsomething. One the evade and auto attack skill.

Doesn’t seem to stop the guardian though, who’s teleport can go where-the-heck-ever he wants, compared to shadow step.

I assume Shadow Return is “broken”. Just like Ink Shot cough.
But problem with Shadow Return is, that it can quickly get useless if you run around a corner after a “fix”.
Depends how you play, because you might need 2 of the same sigils.
Sigils dont stack as you know, but they also only trigger on the weapon used. So using an offhand skill wont proc the sigil in mainhand. or apply any bonuses.

Ink Shot(Thief) and Ride the Lightning(Elemetalist) is sofar the last 2 skills thats bugged in that matter that they can pass areas they shouldnt.

Ok this is getting plain silly for pure myths. My GF got her PC next to mine. Using 2 characters I can tell you in combat with the signet, they move EQUALLY as fast/slow. And only OUTSIDE combat will the thief run faster and gain the 25% bonus.
The same crit sigils do stack as far as I can tell, it’s just basic probability, so lets say a sigil has a 30% proc chance, if you have two of them, it’s a 51% chance. 30% chance for the first to proc, leaving a remaining 70%, 30% of which is 21%. 30 + 21 = 51% chance.
Wrong.
What happens is one sigil procs on mainhand skill, other sigil procs on offhand skill. And if they share colddown…
Let me put this simple. I use the signet all the time.
Being hit by mob=I slowdown to base speed. After combat ends or I run far enougha way from mob=speed goes back up.
Give people time to figure it all out. I expect WvW to be a very different experience 3 months from now.
I fear there might not be a WvW in 3 months. WvW really needs some tuneups and fixes. Its simply too easy to rollover upgraded keeps and towers. Asuming there is no other on the map, how many people you need? 5 to take everything?
In DAoC for example fully upgraded keeps/towers got guards that hurt. Here gurads are just…slight anoyance.

Sounds like you meant Infiiltrators signet. It is probably the most under-estimated utility we have. Knocked off of a height? Just use it to get right back up again. It also penetrates floors and walls so you can recover and get right back in. And againt a Warrior who stuns you because he uses quickness for 100 blades you can use the stunbreaker and attack him while he takes 50% more dmg from his quickness.
Many uses for it. Also, the Shadowstep utility is the best utility the Thief has.
Nor the signet infiltrator, steal or shadowsteps can pass walls or floors.
How much is the health regeneration on a lvl 80? Have you checked?
Its always 30 or something.
I would say yes unfortunately. But likewise there are professions that can hit them due to bugged AoE.
For me it seems more and more obvious that the game is balanced for PvE and not PvP.
Yep, Shadow Assault and Flanking Strike aint 3 targets. Thats what I used besides auto.
Signet? Thats out of combat only.
Very busy working on the next expansion I guess. Bots and hackers run freely around. Only the most blantant might get banned. Sofar it killed WvW for me and pvE is also going down fast with more and more botters around.
My guess is the server actually only uses your jump point and landing point to calculate AoE, portal etc. Might also explain why you sometimes can jump to avoid AoE.
Before claming something is false, one would atleast expect you to do some basic testing.
Crossfire shoots alot faster than pistol, its hits 10 times when the pistol hits 6 times. Plus its 1200 range. And the bleed fron the side? If you are just 15-20 degrees off, bleed is still applied.
And explosive shot is AoE, so it doesnt even fit in here.
Warriour bleeding shot is 155 damage and 6 seconds bleed for 255 and shoots just a tad slower than pistol with a 9 to 10 ratio.

It happens quite abit. Not sure why, But if you jump somewhere near the gating area to get in and out. it sometimes throw you out even tho you are somewhat far from it relatively.
The problem is, unlike real spies, that you cant do anything about them. Meaning its a free card and I would say exploit. Same goes for the supply wasters that other servers sends in. You can only watch….
Seems to be related to excessive damage when you die. A warriour doing killshot on me when I am almost dead as downed means I am usually dead at the teleport.
Some sigils doesnt work at all on some weapons. Other got shared colddown like fire and air for example. Sigils dont stack either.
I am a thief.
The skill (5) only hits 1 person. Seems only skill 1 can hit 3 targets.
Anyway, I agree. Its another issue of works in PvE, but gets OP in PvP.
It also happens to me as a thief. Sometimes I end up downed in the teleport. Other times dead.
Unload hits for 6-10k
With 260% crit damage and 60% critrate it hits more for 4-5K than 6-10K. Its like saying Killshot from a warriour always hits for 15-20K.
P/P is abit underwhelming. But the entire thief is “bugged” with a case of not knowing what to do.
The autoattack 1 does less damage than other/most other classes ranged auto attack. Unload itself is weak and since its 8 times one shot. Some defensive skills really hurts if you use it.
Also I dont understand why a thief applies so little bleeding as they do. Or why poisons dont stack. Its counterintuiative. Burst damage is not really there either…
If P/P perhaps got a bleed with unload. And poisons stacked. Then we could talk again.
In large battles the server tends to refuse your activating of certain skills. Until you try 2-3 times.
Superiour sigil of Blood doesnt work on my shortbow either. Only works on my daggers and pistols :/
Superiour Rune of Divinity applies 3% Crit damage per level instead of 2%.
The reason why WvW got a goldsink is because players drop loot and gives XP. Not to mention the events.
And its certainly not helping the servers thats behind. Specially not with 3 orbs against them.
Again, DAoC knew better. ArenaNet really need to read up on history instead of making basic flaws.
Welcome to culling. Part of the gaming experience and a viable tactic.
You can also be pulled of a wall even when there is a barrier. Happens more rarely, but still happens. But again, its the same as elementalists standing 3000 range below and still AoE you, just because the AoE scales unlimited in height.
Try again after next patch.
Whoever needs to sleep/work/reallife first lose.
You should look at the other classes too. They can do just as much, or more with a shorter colldown or the same.
If you downed 5 players that didnt move out of the way, then they are just bad.
Just like an elementalist with meteor shower could down 25 people if they didnt move.
Its working as implemented. Working as intended? I doubt. Its just another feature.
The latest exploit to the huge list of freely used abilities is the ability to run past impassable objects. You simply run up over a wall and other parts.
Its not a new exploit really, since its atleast 3 weeks old. I just didnt see it in use before today.
So to make a small list of used exploits in PvP/WvW today.
Fly.
Teleport.
Speed.
Zero Gravity.
Endurance.
Noclip.
Jump and Roll.
Wall Climb.
Haste.
High Jump.
Did I miss any? I am sure I did!

Sword offhand would create 5 more skills (4/5 skills + dual skills with dagger/pistol/sword), which is more balance work for ANet. I personally feel like a dual-sword thief wouldn’t feel like a thief.
They sure had plenty of time for some of the other classes
For the OP, unfortunately games get dumber and dumber. So no, you wont see climbing like in DAoC.
Well first of all this would break a great many areas that are balanced for people not being able to…well…fly. There’s a reason you can’t get up there. You’d drop down and take the keep without having to ‘siege’ anything.
That being said, I wouldn’t be surprised if Thief’s Guild elite gets nerfed. And to hear a thief player say that Dagger Storm is disappointing when its an 8s evade/reflect that also grants stability while throws out bleeding/crippling daggers is just ridiculous.
I’m not trying to come across as an kitten or anything but elites are not meant to be game-breakingly awesome. They’re just stronger than other skills and that’s why you only get one.
Daggerstorm doesnt evade.
I think if poison could stack instead of just resetting timer. Then condition builds could be viable.
Why do bleed stack when poisons dont?
Thief and warriour also got utterly broken ranges. Some 900 range warriour skills can hit almost as 1200. And other thief skills foir example, one 900 range is much shorter than another 900 range. Not to mention skills not doing what they say they should.
