What if someome will make an autoloot addon for GW2 – it will loot only if the “Search” action avialible, nothing more.

What the Arena will say about this? Will it prohibited and/or bannable?

Your messages has the wrong view about the Engineer. At least, do not judge another player suggestions - maybe, they have a real reasons for it and enough experience.

Guild Wars 2 doesn’t support add ons. There is no API and no way for any program of software to do this without breaking the rules of the game and being considered a ‘hack or cheat’. Lame, but understandable rules set by ArenaNet to prevent unfair advantages.

Not so far ago there was a some post from Devs that they are will not against user-addons.
But they are prohibitted autotarget addon (target things at the center of your screen)

If they’ll remove Dayly healer point - ppls will just aggro mobs to the any AFKer and run away without res.

Just not going to AFK in the areas where mobs can reach you and there no any NPC-guards around.

On the guild roster, there should be a section which shows when a player was last online. This will help find out how active players are in a guild.

This feature was on the first Guild Wars so I’m a little confused as to why it isn’t on this one too (as well as trading).

Anyway, anybody else want this?

I target something with left click and as I’m constantly moving the camera with right click, it’s constantly targeting things I don’t want targeted. I’d love it if ArenaNet disabled right click targeting or at least added an option for it, because it’s really annoying.

Suggestion: At the topic states, a toggle to disable it. A HUGE amount of people believe that simply making right click target on mouse release instead of mouse down, that it would fix the problem, but I still feel I would randomly target things. Example being when I target something, turn my camera just a little to get a different view, and release on a huge group of people (that I obviously do not want to be targeted.) Perhaps we could have an option for all 3?

They need stealth to be less of a get out of jail free card. Fewer routes in to stealth, a greater revealed time and damage breaking stealth.

Steal is a utility skill – utility skills should not do 4-5k damage. That needs reducing.

Cloak and dagger is a restealth skill – decide if that is offense or defense and adjust the damage/utility accordingly. 5-6k damage is too much in its current state.

Backstab – far too high on damage when used with the above. This needs reducing.

Heartseeker – mobility, damage and a finisher all in one spammable ability? This needs adjustment – remove the bonus damage at sub 50% and decide if its a gap closer or a damage ability and adjust accordingly – one has to go.

no, its totally easy(!) to do this damage to full geared non gc 80. maybe you should retrait your thief.

I can recieve such big damage only at my full Exotic Berserker Elem. But this is my own problem, sure. And my DPS is huge too, and it’s AOE and from bigger distanse, so it’s OK for me.

And what about to increase CD of 100blades to 30 sec and For Great Justice! to 90 sec?
Remove Meteor Shower to the high elite skills with 2 min CD? Removing all self-protection buffs from Elems and increasing CD for all movement and Cantrip skills in 3 times?
How about increasing Portal CD to 10 min and all illusion skills CD in 3 times?

If anything you should be looking at reducing 100 cap for siege weapons to make more room in zones.

They also may prohibit to use any pets, summons, minis, turrets etc. at the WvW – it will free a lot of space, I’m sure ^^
Also, they can remove all monsters from the WvW, also as all gathering nodes too.

If all of it will not help – the last chance must be defragmentation of the server drives ^^

So, until March we all can stop playing.

As a ranger, I feel pretty good in PVE especially in open world;
As a ranger, I feel not bad in sPVP since I can be a tough guy vs any class;
But as a ranger, I feel lost in WvW no matter how hard I try….

I can be a roamer with sPVP build, but non-purpose 1v1 victory bring no glory at all besides other real good roamer classes don’t even choose to fight against you in most of time.
I can deal some damage in large scale battle, and I can give some supports too, but if compared with other classes, both my damage or my support are laughable. (since 1/2 of my dps-pets won’t work well and my strongest support-spirits is just a joke)
Only possible shining part is during small battle (2-3 each side), but it’s also not reliable.
Only time I feel I am still useful is when I use guard to either ninja a siege or rez a teammate at some oh-kitten locations. But I am anticipating this gonna be patched soon.
Basically I feel useless in WvW in most of time, all other classes offer more than a ranger can.

U have a signet which lets you remove all of the grps conditions.
Guardian? Necro? And they will not die of it

U have pets which do AOE-crowd-controls -they help a lot.
With crazy cooldown? Warrior, Guardian, Elem, Necro also...

Your spirits also as pets will die in seconds.

No, I will nost anything, but you can google it, sure.

Im on SOS, here in Tier 1, most of our ques are less than 10 mins. Ive noticed most of the people complaining are also only queing for EB, which can have longer que times during peek times--- give your borderlands a try. Still having problems? Then your server is probably overly populated. Give another server a try.

That’s mean only one: GW2 engine is sucks, Arena servers really weak.
Every server have several thousands population and only 50 players limit per WWW-map.
Do you still think the problem is in server population?

If you have 10-min queues - you are playing not in the server primetime or you are playing at the PVE-girls server full of carebears, lol.

What is Ranger benefits you said? Only one skill - Healing Spring?
All can use consumable with far better effect. If you didnt use it - your fail.

But I prefer to take my Elem/Warrior/Guard to inst instead of my Ranger...

You can delete my posts again and again, but the facts are:

1. Arena have worstest ever game engine, so it can not even show all characters (lol, all 50 characters!) at the map. LA2 - 500 players at the same point? No problem. WAR - the same. WOW - too. Who is next? SWTOR - yes, it was incredible lagly but it show all players anyway. TSW - the same.
And only the "nextgen" MMO GW2 can not show all players! Isn’t it LOL? Yes, it is.

2. Massive battles. Server versus server versus server. God, no, they are used word "World"! World versus World versus World! What you are thinking when you hear it? Hundreds, even thousands fighting players? Yes, this is it.
And what we see in the GW2? Pathetic 30 players from the each side and all have trouble from the point #1? Why so low number? Because extremely low players limit at the "WorldVSWorldVSWorld" maps.
Is it "world"? Yeah, the Homunculus World... God, I can’t even say "village"!
LOL? Indeed!

3. Cyber sport. Arena thinking GW can be an discipline of cyber-sport. What? Are you kidding? With skills descriptions like "Runs faster while wielding melee weapons" (how faster? 1%? 10%? 150%? What melee weapon? Every single class can use the same weapons with different roles!) or "Equipping a kit creates an attack or spell" (what kit, what attack, what spell, what it’s power or radius and cooldown??? Where is full list?)

4. Huge class disbalanse: some classes can be "everything" (even without respec!) and some classes are useless.

When this all will be fixed? You can delete my post again but it will not fix the problems!
Game was released half-year ago and we still didn’t see something great in the problems fixes.

Yes, the game is great but it have the great problems too. Sad, but true. New events - it’s great, but what to do for players who playing in the another GW2 - "Guild Wars 2: Massive Battles edition"? Leave game?

1. Spirits... Dunno, just remove it - noone wil crying... Instead of it give us something really useful!

2. Attack rating? Yup.
Let the pet will recieve all boons what his master got. Without any traits.

3. Dunno, we are may got 2nd thief - just without stealth...

4. Longbow. Just remove stupid range restriction - LB must always do the max damage, like Warrior’s longbow.

Very-high DPS = Elems too

And this is so funny: I’m staying at place for 3 seconds like a freak with flamethrower to deal the same damage what Elem or Warrior able to deal with ONE strike (0.5-1 sec) and I have 3 targets limits with always_miss cone AOE while Elem and Warrior have 5 target limits with wide AOE

To be good in allies zerg you must have:
(than more of it you have than better you are)
1. Good, fast and constant nontarget wide AOE-damage
2. Good nontarget wide AOE support skills
3. Good survivability (HP, Defense, Self-cleanse etc.)
4. Good nontarget AOE-control
5. Good nontarget AOE-debuffs

1. Elem, Guardian, Warrior, Engi, Necro, Thief, Ranger
2. Mesmer (portal and veil only, but it is very-very useful), Elem, Guardian, Warrior, Necro
3. Guardian, Warrior, Elem, Thief
4. Warrior, Guardian, Elem, Necro, Engi
5. Elem, Necro, Engi, Thief

So, we have a 3 leaders: Elem, Guardian and Warrior. Every zerg musthave 2-3 Mesmers too.
All another classes - unneeded. Especially Rangers and Thieves - this is solo-gank or small scaled group (2-4 ppls) classes.

We are still need a buff

I guess under water you could do a jellyfish “Dark Water” followed by a Drake tail swipe for area stealth. Haven’t tried it but it’s a legitimate combo I would think.
