Dodgy crowd - not a hard achievement, this is RANDOM achievement.

And yes, if you are able to make 20-30 or even more attempts on ONE achievement - you are nolifer and this is NO offense, but clear fact.

But Dodgy crowd - fully based on random, since animation of main centaur are completely broken and casting of sand pool DO NOT have any special animation.

To the best of my knowledge/experience the sand pools only appear directly below the centaur without an animation and appear at the location each earth ele dies. Even if they were randomly spawning on top of you it gives you time to move before the first damage pulse. Personally I found the wind walls to be the far more dangerous issue.

Meeting the Asura I would have to disagree on its difficulty, it is a mechanically and reflexively simple challenge, once you know what to do you can execute it with nearly no chance of messing it up. The centaur achievement requires paying attention constantly and has changing battlefield elements allowing for greater risk and requiring greater reflexive capacity.

Your knowledge are very poor then. he cast sand pools everywhere. And most of the time - directly under you, so even constantly moving doesn’t helps you: you will got 1st hit of sand pool before it even appears.
Sure, there is the solution: do it duo. While "Caithe" are hiding and running from everything, your friend killing stuff with his usual character (not with badly designed salad).
And "nolifers" was about them, who was able do it solo, that means crazy amount of attempts - and who have so many free time?

Why ArenaNet decided to do it this way is absolutely beyond me. If I wasn’t playing during the time of the story, I’m S.O.L, but since I’m playing now, I get the 9th chapter? Literally makes 0 sense.

The No Refuge achievements hard as crazy **** - only true nolifers able to complete it.
Last boss in the challenging mode - incredible hard. At ~30% he spawn 3 golems, incredible number of sand pools and there 3 wind walls at the same time!
Also, this sand pools that casted right under you without any noticeable animation - making nearly impossible completing another achievement.
And dialogs. Dialogs and movies. Incredible long, annoying and UNSKIPPABLE!
Meeting the Asura achievements was really easy in comparison with that. Also, challenging mode - I still didn’t get where there was a challenge. And if I’d failed something - I was able to understand what I did wrong and what I need to improve.
But not in the No Refuge: this is all about luck only. Will he cast sand pool under you or near. Will you hit up to 6 times of wind wall or not even once (this happens with me once and without evades sure!)

I wish, creator of this stuff will suffer from all of this every day for 1 year. And this time that he’ll spent on completing - wouldn’t be paid for him.

I wish only one: that main designer of this **** would do this Living Story episode and all related achievements every day for 1 year.
Just came to work and start doing this. And continue doing his ordinary job only after complete story and all achievements.
Maybe this will learn him to NOT create stuff like this.

If you still want to play Necro and "not being kicked from dungeons", so you need to use melee weapon - dagger and forget about any kind of pets aka minions.

Just tested it in the Mists at golems. Same gear and build: Berserker amulet, Pack runes, Air/Accuracy sigils. 6-2-0-0-6 build, Axe training trait taken.

DPS of axe in 1.5 times lower than dagger’s DPS:
* heavy golem died in 13-15 seconds with axe#1 vs 9-10 with dagger#1
but if I using axe #1 and #2 axe’s DPS highly increases: Heavy golem dies in 11-12 seconds.
* Light golem died in 8 sec with axe#1 vs 5 sec with dagger#1
And in 6-7 seconds if use axe #1 and #2
In all tests using dagger#2 leads to lowering DPS by 20-30%.

Also, in my test I’ve tested Life Blast. It has the same DPS as dagger#1 and even a bit lower!
Yes, with stacking might and vuln at the every hit and with 100% crit.rate

Just to comparison:
Power ranger, 6-5-3-0-0 build, berserker, Ranger runes, Air/accuracy sigils. Black Widow spider as pet.

This is how you set up a ranger for max LB damage. Rune of Pack give 2% less crit chance then Rune of the Ranger, but offers 175 more power, this power in turn bumps up your damage more then the added ferocity from ranger runes.

Correct DPS rotation is: RAO, Signet of the Wild, Quickening Zephyr then use Rapid Fire. End result should be around 13-15k max on the heavy golem, upwards of 17k on light golem, depending on how lucky you are with critical hits.

PRO-ranger here, all go away!
Ranger runes gives you 7% of raw damage output! You, ranger-hater.
Also “RAO, Signet of the Wild, Quickening Zephyr” sure, you can use it every time just on demand. And only noobs will use QZ, because you need 2 dodges to avoid RF completely, but with QZ it’s enough only 1. Genius, just genius.
Also, do I need to say, that QZ do not increases your damage – what point in placing it to rotation?

You can’t be sure this is the real commanders with tags on.
Even if "yes" this is not guild-raid commanders, but blinded_stupid_randoms commanders.
So turn off your pathos about "what are you doing if your commander are dying?" - our commander are not dying before our raid.
Also, good raid ALWAYS following his commander - after your pull you’ll found yourself steamrolled in 1-2 seconds after pull.
I even don’t say about 99% uptime of stability in good raids.

Behind that, you have made a video about killing some random players with 5 or more teammates. So skilled!

a) I’m not a native English speaker, so it will be not easy to me - write waaaaalls of text.

Thieves now - OP. At least in the WvW. Crazy high uptime of stealth + Pretty easy to pop stealth + Incredible mobility + Crazy high burst AND sustained + Non-cooldowns mechanic - all of this makes IMBA from thieves. And in some builds (in fact: in most of builds) add here High selfheal + Easy selfcleanse from conditions + Tons of evades.

Now thieves are counter for most of another classes and builds:
Direct damage dealers - you can’t hit something that you can’t see and take in target
Condition specs - your conditions will be cleansed before they can do their job.
Basically, only 1 counter possible: fast, non-target, low-cooldown, AOE, huge and direct damage with non-cleansable controls (stun, daze, etc) - like hammer warriors. And even here thieves have advantage, because they (and only they!) are able just to spam blindness, AOE-blindness!

5k range gap closer? yeah lets see… shadowstep (1200) + initiative signet (900) + infiltrator’s strike (was 600 right? or 900?) + steal (900 or 1500 if traited for which no one does) = 4300 and you trait for the steal
So we are talking about S/D that traits for Long Reach (no one does that) and who is on full CD (apart from SR which is crap in a 1v1 with magic AoE*) after that… Shouldnt be too easy to beat eh?

Also wanna point out, once youre talking about a SA Build which probably utilizes D/D or D/P and once you talk about S/D (or S/P) with likely no SA at all…

*talking about a build without SA rn and either
- youre forced to use SR in melee which is a pain
- your opp has quite a bit of AoE (on SR) and/or Condis (on you)

Also, it hits as whole Rapid Fire channel with the same cd.
Every hit of RF hits only for 1-2k – being hit for 1-2 hits from channel not a big deal.

This fellow’s been studying old documents and developing his own skills to match what he reads. Here he demonstrates that GW2’s Rangers’ abilities are not at all out of the realm of possibility.

I have always enjoyed playing my Ranger, esp. lately. In the back of my mind, though, I sometimes thought, “Nobody could shoot that fast”, etc. Now I can put those thoughts to rest.

Update: computer and router was restarted and Black Lion service (all features) is still working

Update 2: now, just only after going to character selection screen and back to game Black Lion stopped worked again
