Ele still works fine and can bring a lot to a team

Divisions are not reward tracks you are not entitled to progress
Also the win streak system can already carry plebs into higher divisons than they deserve the system is alright atm.

If your dying to a full trap guardian you need to uninstall.
Warrior could be used,but the meta signet build for necro counters it to a point where I doubt I’ll see it being used @ wts

Dragon hunter is probably one it not easiest class ingame to outplay and or counter. If you struggle vs them is probably a l2p issue. I would suggest trying the meta build for a hour or so to get a feel for how they work
Conditions already have more than enough counterplay.
Learn how the game works and how exactly classes apply condis before posting how broken it is.

Tarcis was playing the squishy amulet to make up for the loss of damage of their bunker comp.Its not a optimal build but because of the Druid/ele and other supports he could afford to run glassy.
Dh is very easy to outplay and do not have the sustain to fight the bigger and longer the fights go on.
Roll a retri rev or scrapper or Druid which all counter them.
In short learn their weakness and exploit them and try a couple games on guard to learn their mechanics before going to the forums and whining
Dh is very effective in the low tiers of pvp.
But in reality its effectiveness goes down the more people around him.
The meta longbow build beats,
Thief/invo rev/Mesmer/Necro
But it loses to
Paladin scrapper/menders Druid/retri rev.
This is assuming both people are playing optimally and are around similar skill range.
Dh can be easily focused and its defenses have high CDs leaving it vulnerable the bigger and longer the fights last.
It is not in God tier atm but is a solid pick over another bruiser.

Wash the pain away cool down up to 30 from 25
Cleansing water now has a 3 second icd.
Earth trait now @20%reduction from %33
Engineer:block no longer does damage,increase duration if block by 1sec.
Change hammer trait to 20 instead of 10. Remove the stab in evade portion of this skill.
Healing gyro now has 1/2 sec cast time.
Bulwark cd increased to 25 sec.
Add red aoe markings to acid bomb(egun#4)
Thief:
Add cd to pulmonary(3sec)
Increase cool down on bandits defense up to 20 sec.
Warrior-increase headbutt cd to 30secfrom 20
Remove confusion from mace f1 in zerker mode. Increase cd on zerker recharge to 4 sec
Nerf adrenal health by 10-20%
Guardian: Stab in shield of courage immediately
Remove projectile component of sword aa.
Increase sustain by adding a 25%proc somewhere.
Rev:equilibrium grants 5stacks of might and heals and gives vigor below threshold(no more hydro-equilibrium 1 shots) give precision strike bigger animation.
Necromancer:give staff marks different noticeable animations.stowing chilled to the bone no longer allows animation to continue.
Druid-reduce hp on bristle and smoke scale by 25%
Mesmer-make allies portals blue.
I would do much more but these are the most important changes
Luckily you are not in charge of balance you obviously are biased against a multitude of professions and implanting these changes would completely destroy several classes from competitive play.

In general this would fasten the pace of the game while still keeping supportive roles viable and competitive and also would give dragon hunter a shot at being competitive.

Duoq or trioq so the carry isn’t that hard
It’s their elite mechanic
Other classes got astral form reaper shroud zerker continuum split
And all engineers got was a gyro which can only be used on a downed players
Also the gyro stomp takes 5sec(not like normal) and is very squishy so you can kill it with downed aa

I disagree with this.
After Druid/tempest the other alternative builds are so far below optimal they won’t become close to becoming meta. Unless you nerf damage across the board you shouldn’t nerf support.
the excess amount passive traits of health threshold traits and on crit trait procs need to be toned down across the board.
Also it’s clear that core builds cannot and will never be able to compete with HoT because you cannot balance one without account for the other.So please stop asking Anet to bring back core builds…..to much has changed
Typically with all bunker builds newer players seemed to believe that all bunker builds a op and seeming less brainless to play.Ele on the other hand is not a a bunker(although it can sustain 1v2 for awhile just like most meta classes).Ele is a support class which is vital to create stability and something you have to play around.
Without a dedicated point, support games are chaos.Rotations are no longer as significant and you can literally zerg the map and not actually have to worry about defending nodes and splitting correctly.
Bunkers create stability and when bunkers go, so does strategy and the ability to punish mistakes.
That being said if you look at the meta there are only 2 support professions:tempest/druid. Each of these classes has significant weakness such that druids vulnerablilty to +1s by thief/power rev(menders amulet= no toughness) and spike dmg while ele is very vulnerable to cc lock/condi burst(cleric amulet 13khp)
While eles and druid support capability are pretty game changing atm until Anet decides to either tone down the sustain and damage together and cannot nerf one side and not the other or you either have complete chaos or season 1(bunker mes meta) all over again.

Warrior isn’t viable for many reasons:/
If you have troubles against condos and do not build to fight them.
Don’t engage or don’t be sad when u go splat
Vitality and healing power counter it.
Sustain and a big hp counters condos extreme well while getting spiked down with power spike burst doesn’t help .
And btw if you look at condi builds in the meta it’s only 2 of the current 7-9viable builds.
Seriously this pops up once a month pls stop
The main issue with guild wars 2 combat system is anything larger than a 3v3 turns into a aoe fest as seen with the failed courtyard experiment(although maybe the map was to blame as well)
The only reason why conquest is competitive is, in order toplay conquest you need to apply pressure on all 2-3nodes which usually spreads teams into 2v2s/3v3s although occasional big team fights do happen occasionally.
Looking into other possible game modes, I do believe a 2v2 death match would be insanely popular and has been brought up on numerous occasions.It also would bring the wvw community ,pvpers and duelists into the competitive scene which would be amazing and renew interest for many players into gw2 again

Omgers we saw you had it on stream awhile ago and the excuse that it would lead to build wars 2 is unreasonable as class swapping is possible before the game starts anyways.
It would be the greatest quality of life change of the century.

In the old bunker meta rotations were 100% more important and would punish rotational errors, and getting a kill actually meant something.Meanwhile this meta is way more forgiving because of the snowball potential of all the insane dps going around,
While I am certain that on a mechanical skill level it seemed like everyone was mashing the keyboard, it required more awareness and knowledge of the conquest game mode than this. It just feels much easier than the old meta and more catered to spectators and casuals such as +1s team fights etc than crazy damage.While I do agree that certain builds were overturned, removing the entire option of viable bunkers was certainly a bad idea. Who misses it? or am i the only one
Obviously you play scrapper aoe stealth function gyro Rez can decap and hold nodes efficiently.beats everything practically everything 1v1 and is a great team fighter.

You can’t bring stability to this game without removing the power creep of dps and 1 shots going around.Without reinstating minstrel amulet the meta will continue to be full lopsidedly absurd damage that kills your before you can react.
Pls for the sake of pvp reinstate minstrel or fix the damage

All 3 of the meta builds:tempest rev and scrapper use these tunes for the imbalance of stats that is terribly op.
The vitality allows squishy amulets such as viper and cele to gain toughness which other runes do as well but happen to include bonus vitality?

As with all competitive teams you must run what’s optimal.In some cases you can run what you main/enjoy and it’s possible to outplay it.but in the cases of condi rev/bunker chrono, It leaves little room for any customization.
The competitive nature of this game died with hot.

The pvp community is by far most loyal player base and the players log more hours than any other community in this game,and since guildwars2 pvp is the best thing this game has going for it.
Please don’t neglect balancing your game.
