SoR was the most exciting server I ever played. Although I am a new TC player, I can tell you I learned more fighting them than I have learned my entire WvW experience. I will take losing to them more often if we get fights like we did last week. It helped me step up my play because of the high tempo that SoR plays at. Special thanks to [FEAR], [TSYM], [IRON], and [HELIOZ] for the tough fights!
Note: We unfortunately didn’t get all the fights here on the second video from the SoR Guilds vs. TC Guilds matchup on SoS BL. Us on TC lost the first 2, took 1, lost 1 more, then won the next 5.

But TC beats DB especially when TC just recieved RE which are impressive.
Yes, we did win against them but not before RE transferred to us. Then again, when we fought against SOR, we were treated like newbies. That means we still have much to learn and improve upon. There’s always better tactics out there. Where SOR had very strong players. DB probably had the most inventive and patient way of fighting. You’ve got to fight them at least once.
Yes , i am familiar with how defensive and opportunistic DB plays very similar to Jade Quarry, we did make them tick 0 once though =P
Was really fun. JQ guilds did transfer over there for a few weeks. And left when they found t2 boring.

:3 I liked the thread where SOR was beating the kitten out of TC. That was when TC learned that we’re not that strong yet. When we fought them with equal numbers, it felt like fighting against more people (queued map vs sor).
So, basically the level gap of skill is still wide.
So because we’re kind of winning now doesn’t mean we learned what was necessary from the SOR matchup. (not speaking for everyone)
TY for that awesome fight in front of Overlook watch. I was that warrior, and my buddy was the guardian. You guys really made it difficult for us to defend that one door at that time.

Hope you take the week an learn not to throw numbers at people. You keep trickling in and dying until you simply overwhelm people.
Cragtop: you couldn’t build rams so you pvdoor the tower gate down with a group of 60+ players, then promptly proceed to lose 20 due to just zerging in (to a defense force of 15).
Sunny: you build a treb over the hill and open it up, then proceed to charge in and lose half of your zerg against a defending force of 15 people because you can’t use a treb to clear the arrow carts.
Thanks for the pointers, but start with yourself first.
Good point this is. Some if not most of our TC ppl are very very squishy.
I hope CD and SoS are taking this week to learn from TC so they can improve, not just sitting back and letting the score run out.
From what I saw while commanding on TCbl last night:
Wear more bunker-type gear. If you’re dying, add more pvt.
You stack well, CD, but then you don’t move! Mean, I appreciate you standing in all my AoEs, and your retal stacking kinda hurts, but it doesn’t win you fights.

The last sentence made me laugh. However, my reaction was quite different from yours. I have enjoyed these matches. I find TC challenging but I enjoy playing against them. And CD is like seeing an old friend again. I encourage everyone to have fun out there! Never give up, never surrender, and …today is a good day to die!

Uh from my experience in T1 SEA =/= Oceanic. SEA starts 3 hours later and ends 2 hours later than Oceanic. Hence why FA’s Oceanic is losing to DB’s SEA presence.

However, I do recommend that if you guys go and do GVG to control your spectators. This is a gentleman’s game outside of the normal WVW thing where opponents can be civil and hopefully be friends. Who knows, might play together in the same server in the future or something outside of the game.
If you walk into WvW you’re fair game. No kittens given about your GvGs or duels. If you want to hold hands, go PvE.
And this is why SoR has no good GvG guilds.

My counter to that would be…if you mess with a GvG, you’re fair game. (And you’re not going to find many friends coming to your aid.)
Well said. All is fair game in WVW, but mostly you will find yourself alone when trying to dishonor a fight between two opposing factions.
GVG is something that this game lacks, which ironically is called guild wars. Else, we should rename this game world wars, which is very near to world of warcraft.
Is this the group that caused a huge ruckus a while ago by systematically destroying a strike force v aggression gvg?
GVG is normally done because of respect and show sportsmanship and get to know who you are fighting.
But sometimes, the militia of both sides do something weird. The rule there is, if you disturb GVG. Neither home sever will help you.
It’s similar to DOTA inhouse or Starcraft inhouse games.

We really shouldn’t be making any guesswork here. SOR vs BG will be a good mach. Who will win? We’ll only know when it happens or if it will happen at all.
^ I don’t know what to say. I’ve fought viz for a very long time being an EU original. They are quinticentially a whole new level of extreme. On the other hand, having fought SOR, it might be an even match as both servers are extremely good.
That would most likely be a week of boredom for both servers. Prime times don’t match up. Given the fact most sea/oceanic seem to have gone to na servers I would guess na would win by virtue of coverage but who knows. I still think Anet would have done better to just have world servers instead of the split. WvW would be healthier over all.
The price of doing that would be slower connections for some people not sure if thats a good trade off or not.
Until Anet decides to merge EU and NA, we can only assume and speculate who will win. I wish there was a once a month thing where the best of each servers, na and eu, will get to fight each other to determine the number 1.
Viz would stand no chance, if they have opposition during night, morning, day hours they will not turn up or be so much less effective. Coverage is alot better on na servers.

Definitely over 80, i have about 50 guildies on one map (special WvW event) with about 30 pugs and there still wasn’t a queue, a queue was reached when another guild came on the map aswell.
I see. Now that means the cap might be reaching 90 to 100. Though I do hope ANET will comment on this or if there is any official information out there. ;3
Seen as there’s been no official statement yet about TW moving to JQ ill quickly clarify for everyone;
Due to the current state of the WvW matchup TW has temporary transferred to JQ server to get some WvW fights and will be transferring back as soon as SoR is matched up with JQ or BG. Stealing JQ’s glory and annoying BG was part of the logic behind the choice.
I’m sure normal tasks preformed by TW such as the server meetings will still happen, the only difference is the lack of Indo sitting on the map akitten for 6 hours being rezzed consistently so he can be killed again.
Only the kill deprived TW who could afford the transfer fees both ways transferred (around 30). I, your siege master Ascii, remain on SoR.
Please tell me thats a joke? How… insulting. None of the three servers wanted this match up but we go out there every day giving 100% of our energy and effort and try and make the best of it, and you bail to jq for a more even match?
Sos deserves more respect than that, Tc deserves more respect than that, but most of all your allies from sor deserve better. Being part of a team means fighting through the good times and bad, they have your back and you have theirs. Guess that aint the case on Sor.

Hi sor and sos. Doing good. I am enjoying our matchup. Although TC isn’t scoring much, it brings about the true colors of the players. Keep it up and continue lighting the fire.
I think it would be insulting to take anyone lightly; so expect TC’s full force at all times. I think that applies to FA and SOS. Showing mercy is an insult to SOS, FA or TC. That being said. Play nice.
