I think the fact that SOS can stay this competitive in tier 2, shows how ridiculously large the gap is between tier 1 and tier 2……. I admit i had entertained the notion that perhaps a tier 2 server could put up a decent fight against a tier 1 server, but not anymore.
Sos is good. And tier 1 is tier 1.

Winning makes or break people. This guy isn’t used to losing; so the system isn’t making him but breaking him. He just needs to learn that it is a part of wvw to win and lose some of the time.

<3 I’m enjoying wvw. It is still fun. The enemy is the enemy. It doesn’t matter who they are. And outside the game – it is fun in fotm.
But don’t take to long to make us wait. It is okay to release it; so we the players can report what’s wrong.

i pretty much have fun in fractals – any build works for me. my personal fav is the less than good 10/10/10/30/10 build – kind of like what i found in spvp when i checked the stats and it seems to work nice.
from their – it’s pretty much 10/0/30/10/20 for me. just for the traits – i use shield/sword/cepter. for wvw – hammer/staff/sceptershiedl ( the usual 0/0/30/30/10)

it is a good sigil to put on your non main weapon or main weapon and the other one being sigil of energy; so you can really do so many rolls.

I think it was already previously mentioned that all you need to do after getting the chest is press b and then enter the borderland of your choice. No need to use a portal or anything. o.o;;

Traps are expensive in terms of badges. Won’t even waste a single one on both options. Just not worth it.
Well, this gives our developers an idea of what they need to work with in WVW. Unless, they deem it very very very easy to get badges, this is just a no go scenario.

The question is who benefits from these changes? I am referring to the changes implemented by aranet.
My guess is, it is the PVE side. Because now that WVW is difficult and sometimes no longer fun, most WVW players end up doing PVE stuff like dungeons and other.
Simply, the hardcore remain and endure the pain.
Although the changes does make the game more challenging and requires great community work, and is still engaging as ever. The fun factor decreased slightly, at least for me, because the community I’m at are troubled and confused at what to do. Give or take, time will amend adjustments, but players might be lost.
The solution is simple.
I agree with the above that siege ticks should be longer and shorter depending on the siege. Because not everyone wishes to spend their time on a tower etc. And not everyone is as organized in having rotations.
This is a glorified role playing end game content of GW2. It just needs more attention.

To many golems = to less ppl scouting defending or protecting the golems. It’s a recipe for failure.
3-10 golems per run should be good in a full packed server. The rest – dedicated to build every available counter siege.

The solution here is to simply return the old damage done by the AC’s. That way all is good. ( part of aranet)
Creative siege placements – Anti AC trebs/cata/ACs. (part of player to actually think how to solve this).
Simply because every player wants to be OP in this game and wants to win; they wouldn’t want to have to work it out smartly.
Then again, because this is a fantasy game, reality be gone please.
This game because a good simulation of what a real war is. But that isn’t fun. It’s for the hardcore strategist now, not the casual player.
A good way to rebel against this is to simply ignore the game points and run as a very big zerg killing everything and anything till you fall into a tier that reflects the game you like.
Ignore the scores, just zerg each other’s spawn points.

World vs World vs World does reflect the reality of it. Because it means everyone in a server versus everyone in a server. So, reducing it to zerg vs zerg is actually limiting the title.

I love the changes because I do enjoy strategy over mindless fighting. You now have to station sentries on your important areas. You now have to protect the most important thing called supply camp and dolyak. You can now, again, ninja stuff. A small outmanned team can now defend against a gigantic zerg with a simple use of well placed sieges.

Lol Sovereign.1093. I guess what you say is true if we all stay at range and never close gap to melee range or never allow a gap to be closed on us.
Build of course also plays a big part with how fast we die. I have played that tanky style, do not like it, but have played it.
I have been playing warrior since beta. I know this class very well and have tried many, many builds. Can we do damage, certainly! We can definitely hurt people when we get amongst them. However unlike other classes we can not stay long, we can not get rid of our conditions fast enough and we have very little protection versus CC’s.
We are waaay past the L2p stage. Our success and our demise are all in the hands of A-net now.
Mind you my warrior is my only character and i have no intention of playing any other class. So hey, what do i know!
I don’t know what you know. But maybe that’s your own personal encounter depending on the situation your character is in. I’m mostly in wvw, so what I experience is based on that.
So far, I don’t feel I fall down as easily or more easily than other classes. I’ve played other classes as well, especially mesmer, ranger, and guardian. It’s just that a warrior has its place in the battlefield where other classes has their own.

To early to conclude that FA will go down. They are not bad players. They are strong and tenacious. The same goes with kaineng. These worlds will probably stay here for a longer time.
