Hehe. You can tank a thief, so when I ran away – he was doing a backstab heartseaker. This one’s damage wasn’t so bad. He did like nip at my toon and then my back up came. They chased him and he speed hacked into somewhere we don’t know.

Funny is, he got inside our keep when there was no opening. >3<

Well, I just got 80 yesterday and all my gear is green quality level 80 gear. I play a guardian and I am specced 20/30/0/0/20.

I was fighting one person for about 5 seconds , until a second person came in and finished me off and this didn’t matter because I was almost dead anyway. I don’t have any higher tier of gear (exotic, I think? Nor do I know where to get it), so I didn’t expect to dominate or be super powerful right off the bat, but I thought I would at least have a fighting chance.

I only compared it to WoW PvP in the sense that it seems to be very gear dependent.

:3 When you get your gear, you will be one of the thoughest baddass thing out there. guardians if build right is nearly unkillable. pretty much a very irritating enemy.

0/10/30/30/0 could also work – w/ 10 on skill iv – adds 50 percent crit to stunned upponents. ;3 works well w/ hammer.

The topic isn’t about guardians but warriors guys. Keep it to the topic. Else, there is always the guardian thread.

WVW feeds our inner King. It is our ID or how we feel about our character. So, that’s why we want more stuff added to it. But as for now, it’s pretty cool. Just slow changes not drastic ones will make it better.

have bloodlust on your alt weapon so you can stack it. and force on your main weapon; so you can do some damage.

this rune is wonderful but if you have mobile strikes, you have a good means to escape being ganked in a zerg, and if you have sword/X offhand but prefer shield or warhorn, then you will be more mobile.

Been using this and soldier rune in WVW. Only the 2 runes I enjoy. and back then melandru rune was only in silver not gold.

something like the queue would be useful if you’re contemplating this. If someone is idle/not moving from one area – a something like queue would ask to be clicked for the sake of not getting kicked out of wvw.

Ex. 15 minutes – person still at same area. something like drag this to the right or left to show you are not afk in wvw. it has a 30 second timer and repeats 3 x before kicking the player of wvw and back to character select screen.

So I started a warrior a couple weeks back in order to play with my friends. I’m looking fora build that can deal damage but can survive more than a few hits. Currently I’m using GS/Rifle as my weapon combo and I plan to roll 20/0/30/20 for my traits, but I could use some guidance on this.

until you’re lvl 80, having a signet build will make you tanky for the moment.

Those numbers represent the minimum on them to take advantage of signets. with your weapon spec.

When you’re 80, x/x/30/x/20 – will make you tanky too. But if you’re goal is to be a combat healer x/x/15/30/20 20 is for mobile strikes; so you can escape getting ganked. 15 is for skill II, very nice for adding toughness when you are being slowed.

Anyway, ask this question again when you’re lvl 80. ^.^

Hehe, SBI is the most opportunistic server in this tier. Very strategic with their moves.

Why did you post those? I Remember both LoD and RG. I fought both. We had more luck with LoD than we did with RG. Tier 1 was so much work.

Both were (skilled) aggressive groups of players. Both preferred group vs group combat. Both were lacking in siege defense. RG is one of those rare groups that mastered the WvW combat.

I remember the few times we cleared LoD. I was never party to clearing RG on the map.

Because I like how they play. And the music is nice

Also, I’ve been doing my best to teach the troops here to fight like that in LOD video.

I’ve always played wvw 90 percent of my GW2 time but I’ve slowly enjoyed playing in PVE too because the events are just awesome. Reminds me of the first boss monster we kill when we’re level one. EPIC.

Although the only pve i really do if necessary are – story mode and arah dungeon story mode.

I do hope, someday, we have the option to repeat story mode quests or try new ones with the same character. I think this is what this game is lacking.

Warriors should have a fist type weapon, where it does rampage like attacks. Would be so awesome if not fun.

Any fellow Filipinos playing in SOS or SBI? I’ve always been wondering if there is a Filipino community elsewhere in this game. Because in CD I sometimes feel like I’m the only one. Haha.

This is an old video, but something I really like when I think about SBI.

And when I think about SOS I remember this video done by the brave russians (They’re probably the best at groundfighting) from EU when I was still in Seaferer and Redguard was in Piken Square. Haha

Because of the community and friends made in fighting. It is like the end game dungeon or pve of guildwars 2. You make the story by winning or not winning.

Showing negative support so early on. haha

I was the one who said I felt YB is stronger than M. The rest of the men here didn’t declare it. So, don’t generalize.

Try sticking to sword/warhorn and riffle –

I usually dodge a lot when i’m using my warrior, and she’s pretty nice in the early games till 80.

But it’s an acquired taste.

The other option is to do a 5 signet warrior, whereas you get the signet trait so it cd’s fast, and 100b things to death.

See what I mean?

Mags like to distract players with fightclub; so not everyone gets to participate in getting better scores at WVW. Then again, it was fun fighting them. Very strong ground forces, but very … weird forum warriors.

I like it. It’s a nice start. But it lacks the WVW player information. Pretty much incomplete.

Besides SOS, SBI has almost consistent coverage all the time. It’s just that sometimes, you guys play to safe.

WVW is a pk zone. JP WVW BL is in the WVW zone; so it is in the PK zone.

If you are new to WVW, there is an NPC w/c explains all these in the starting waypoint.

Can’t stand being killed by other players? Play sims or stay in PVE zones.

Haven’t tried hundred blades till I was level 80.

So I was wondering why you can only get Soldier (Power, Vitality and Toughness) armor for the Badges of Honor in WvW. I know the weapons have been patched so you can get zerker, carrion etc. But why not the armor as well?

Same goes with armor and not just weapons , sir.

You can have blood lust on your second set like sword – bloodlust and energy on your warhorn.

So when you down the enemy, you switch weapons to stack bloodlust.
