During HoD/GoM/NSP matchup, a [WvW] zombieland commander transferred to GoM to coordinate that shameful double team which kitten off all 3 servers.
GoM was then sent to tier 8 pretty much immediately after ronny transferred there (Coincidence?)

Since then we encountered a new, infinite foe (SF). Whom we all struggled against.
NS kitten till fighting them the best we can.
HoD commanders (not all obviously, noble few do what they can) are telling their players to not play WvW until SF goes away.

But before SF moves up a tier. HoD will drop to t8 and GoM will come back to t7 (wb).

But what is this? The same guild that was so ferocious during the initial matchup, is the guild telling their players not to play in WvW until SF moves up? The same guild that jumped ship to GoM right before they are moving up a tier? The same guild who’s infamous tactics of " ATTACK NSP AT ALL COSTS" has led their server to demise.

Here is my prediction.
Zombieland transfers just as the rest of GoM does all the hard work to get back to t7, while at the same time telling their* server not to play the game (perhaps a planned drop)
The combined forces will then proceed to attack NSP with their tiny kitten.

Hey it might pay off and see you to t6, but way to kitten poor HoD over.

For the most part, we’re glad to see them go,.

EDIT: Also, we fell straight from the #1 spot to where we are now. Moving down one tier isn’t going to kill us, so I’m sure we’ll be fine. If there’s one thing HoD is good for, it’s its resilience.

SF doesnt have much more people. For example, we never get top score during resets or if you watch the video of your golems rushes you were litteraly PvDooring all of EB. We simply dont quit when we loose stuff.

I meant more of a coverage gap rather than all people on at once :P

So I’ve been playing on NSP server and we’ve been matched against SF and HoD for several weeks in a row now. SF absolutely dominates. At the time of writing, they control the entire EB map, which I have never seen before. By the end of the rotation, they generally have twice as many points as either of the other servers in this bracket. It obvious that they have a LOT more active players in WvW. This is fine, they have earned their victory.

My questions are as follows: why are they not increasing in their rank so that they can face a server of similar skill/participation level? I figure the server ranking system is so that servers are matched against similar opponents, so why is the competition in this bracket so uneven? It’s not just that SF has a slight advantage over HoD and NSP. It’s night and day here. WvW is becoming very unfun and uncompetitive because of the uneven matchup. Lots of un’s! I don’t like un’s…

It sucks when it happens but it happens to all servers.
Even SF were fielding more numbers when they moved up to t7, and then when they encountered more resitance than they were used to, alot stopped.
They still field alot obviously as they are still winning.
NSP i used to being the middle/little guy, so we just keep on fighting.
But when we are winning we also see a number spike.

You might want to talk to whoever was operating those golems, while I was dead in cliffside I saw one of your golems die fighting guards. Maybe you didn’t care because you had our entire bl at that point, but it seems a shame to me to waste a golem.

You will find that you know of the original everyday in WvW. Originality came in 2003 when KING was developed and the first syndicated guild in guild wars was born. Along with holding HzH and now WvW, Id say we have done a very good job. Those that wish to plagiarize us have good reason too.

It’s kind of fun to run in a golem zerg once in awhile, but yeah, from a spectator standpoint once you get past the ‘oooh’ stage, it is pretty boring.

Lol @ all the Omega’s though, it’s hard not to watch that and think someone is just trying to flash ‘bling’. Though, to be fair, the ~30 golems that we had to take over the entire NSP borderlands Saturday night was just as unnecessary, but still fun to get it all together.

Regardless of the intentions, as long as you are having fun, that’s the point.

I completely approve of excessive golem usage…maybe its an asura thing?

But i do dissaprove of bragging once the 10+ golem stage is reached (let alone omegas) as any defences just become irrelevant at that stage, a point i thought i proved to some SF bragging on week 1 of our match up?

Alright seems like I need to give you a English lesson.

Two days ago, I posted “Bet 10g NSP keep doesnt have any buff on and the claimer is TFG”, which was obviously in present tense(yes, I mean you can’t read properly). After that I went to check the buff on keep and of course there was no buff on “at that moment”. About five minutes later, SF downed the water gate and TFG put buffs on(still no supply buff). In modern English, when some one use a present tense, he/she is referring to things that are either happening or things that often happen.

I think I am clear enough on the bet and if you still couldn’t comprehend, you might want to go back to middle school to learn the detail version of modern English grammar. Or you are one under-aged player who hasn’t finished the education(well GW2 is a rated T game, so I can’t help much if you are really under-aged).

Oh well, I believe you are not going to look at this anyway since you mentioned “I won’t say any more”, which proves that you are a bad reader =(

<3 NSP, I walked into that golem zerg by myself and within seconds we had people spawning to defend the keep and coming across maps. Much love.

But on a serious note, what makes NSP so great is the many small guilds who all love and respect each other, Always willing to come to aid when needed. We are not many, but we are everywhere.

In my defence, I’ve been trying to hit SF as much as possible, but pesky HoD keep coming to my bl and taking towers, so i always have to go back and slap them a few times, and have to restart momentum on SF again…

Yup i can confirm its something of an issue, but not only for defenders but attackers as-well.
After capping HoD camps with the uplevelles i took for some xp we tried to go to SF BL, made it as far as Heroes Lodge (or w/e its called on green) and kept getting instances of freeze time for several seconds mid combat, eventually lagged out completely
I was on ventrillo and that did not budge, nor was there lag present there
But the game itself was just de-synched and my character was stuck in animation floating around :/

I am still very confused as to whether those bolts just fly faster? the animation of firing faster? or recharge is faster?

the tooltip on skill 1 went down from 3 to 2 seconds, but it still only fires every 3 seconds (and even the blackout recharge dial lasts 3 seconds) not sure of the other skill’s recharge
But all in all not the most* worthwhile upgrade,

I don’t think it’s fail. It think it’s because they want to note people specializing into one character. It gives a new depth to endgame that is harder to get than just playing to 80 in a week and getting all the gear you need in 1 day.

I like that it will give me something to work on after I get my ele all the way leveled.

I think it is appropriate to give the hardcore wvw fans something to work toward.

We didnt have many guildies since it was downtime for the majority of our wvw guilds, we just had the few hardcore players/commanders and rallied the people!

This was last week in HoD BL during offpeak hours, I was taking over with a group of 10ish + some golems (honestly cant remember how many).

This Thief was THE ONLY defender of garrison and several other structures, Wiping over and over yet kept coming back, for like an hour…
Eventually our numbers dwindled and HoD numbers swelled and i was finally defeated! But looks who stomped me! I was very happy about this

I havent posted since reset, And i would like to thank HoD and SF for amazing fights in all the borderlands
Particularly of note VLK from HoD, i see them running in 5-10 man groups and they are always a worthwhile oponnent
PvP guild from SF, holy kitten there are alot of you :P Died sveral time running (foolishly) into that turtle, but also killing many other times. Lots of badges for all i guess!

Good fights all around, and nice to see the thread have less trolling.

These forums represent the vocal minority. There are really no hard feelings on SF’s side to HoD and NSP. My previous comments were directed to the vocal minority that felt it necessary to try to degrade our efforts and our achievements. It’s not warranted. Agreed. Let me start off witha disclaimer, i am happy for HoD/SF for their transfers, good on them.

But i do agree that it should be WvW population based not PvE population based.
I see all the pretty pictures of the competing servers and their golem armies… i dont even have enough drivers to man 10 golems!

B) We came in from both sides for the lol’s as a competition which side can get to inner gates first. Os side (east) won by like 10 seconds!
