vcy was on a break last week maybe that explains it, and yes, now that you mention it, RoF was always strong at offpeak.

cough cough cough… FIRE moved to Gunnar’s Hold from SFR and took off to Surmia a week later once they discovered Riot, Vcy and Votf moved there, so much for bandwaggoning, no offense :P (i wrote it down now, will NEVER mention it again :P) On another note its amazing seeing RoF still in the lead against RoS, very suprising to me. Greetings from a relaxed matchup against Dzag and Arborstone going at each other’s throats while we be chilling.

bump for awesome server needs some laggers from T1 to compete with the other servers down here in T7/T8 who have got transfers and grown a bit too strong. Would like to see WSR punching hard against RoF, Dzag, GH, Surmia again – help this nice community by transferring your slideshow account from T1.

well in all fairness what ive seen this week:

surmia clearing our defensive siege with no perspective to take keep while miller trebbing us from the back looking to take it.
surmia taking veloka with millers watching from north gate overlook (without attacking it) with a much larger zerg.
millers golems in a surmia zerg attacking our garrison.
surmia waiting patiently at ogres for about an hour or two untill millers attacks our keep, then heading right to ogrewatch.

thats just a few episodes while i was online, im sure there were many more. its weird because i still think we are the strongest server of RoS Dzag GH and every week against Surmia we find ourselves losing being badly doubleteamed while never having that problem in other matchups. its also clear that surmia cant doubleteam us on their own, so im wondering why MS would do that kind of stuff (i know dzago just wanted 2nd for example). One of their commanders says its for their ranking, but why would that matter which side they attack aslong as they get points?

Gunnar’s Hold has very little coverage from about 2/3 am to about 2/3 pm, but quite a strong primetime (7pm to 2 am) and reset. Generally we are looking at our stuff getting capped while being at work and capping it back when we get home. Piken isnt exactly a lag free environment as they are quite high in the rankings and thus have a lot of people. Surmia is a server with very nice coverage but somewhat weak primetime/reset compared to their equal rated opponents. Looking at your playtime id say Gunnar’s Hold but im of course totally biased, being from GH myself

as a tank and zerker warrior, down state is my form of reliable condition removal :p and yes i specced into the higher health at rally trait – as a tank ^^

this week amazingly has 3 losers

MS lost the most ranking.
Surmia gain less ranking then Gunnars.
Gunnars didnt come 2nd.

we all kitten ed now! but well those screenshots tell the story of the matchup – see us ticking at 430 holding MS back with our left hand while mashing Surmia with our right and. Stikkos screen: Feeding MS by doubleteaming on GH Story of the matchup since monday. Nymph: If you dont want us to focus each other – show it to us. We have seen nice pushes from Surmia onto MS – but only after they were ticking higher then us after focusing on us for 3 days. I think to end the rivalry we need a bit more then that :P Since we come out on top at reset because we have huge numbers (i think we even beat millers on reset?) you need to drop that 2nd place ambition in favour of getting rating or it will end up like this every time because you focus us to get back 2nd during our weak hours and onto primetime from there (and we react to that by focusing on surmia of course!). i dont want to propose beating MS to crap with an alliance, but simply stop focusing each other in favour of equal ticks to all 3 would have probably put both of our servers in front of underworld, or at least Surmian Server, Gunnars need a bit too much ranking i think. So it was a really easy week and still MS lose ranking, i think this week could have turned out very very different if not for our beloved rivalry. Also, Stonemist.

this got noticed at gunnars and got many cheers. but i dont understand why you mind us to hit bay? it means both servers pushing MS or do you mean we pushed your bay in RoS? I was playing asuraball yesterday so no idea what happened. but i definately approve of you hitting MS, seems you can do damage to them when you want..

i laughed at this thinking of EB last night… when RoS were taking veloka while millers were trying our north keep door – merely 30 feet from each other. that was somewhere around the 3 hours where you failed to take our keep despite doubleteaming and throwing everything at us. 1 treb to rule them all.

its really hard to go after MS when RoS is sitting in our BL all day uprading our keeps and pulling their men in.. and focusing us in EB like hell. we need a qeueu in our BL just to stop millers and we need a queue in EB not to lose our keep against doubleteaming. thats why i got so mad… it was clear its going to be like this all week and nobody will ever challenge millers anymore. the only time millers was challenged was on reset by gunnars. this is boring for us now because we can only defend, i expect less players to show up during next days for GH. but yeah knew it was gonna be like this before the match even started because of how RoS are happy with trying to beat us and dont care about anything else, not even their own rating.

btw awesome fights at astral yesterday, a bit more even and we could have continued for hours (MS OP with 3 guilds, one of them Mya in force) and FIRE that was really evil – taunting us left side with vcy and then rushing our trebs from other side. well played.

if they dont have experience they will start like we did – try kitten gate. doesnt work. try ramming it – get farmed by ac – try catapult – mortared – finally treb – split up to get more supply – get rushed – onto golem rush – oil ftl. being good at something comes from training and hardly anything else and since tpvp players dont have training they would get laughed at for a few weeks untill they are on top of the WvW game which is not much like spvp at all. or the short version: your pvp skills dont matter int he face of ACs. generally in WvW an upscaled player on a superior arrow cart at the right place can stop a large amount of players from taking an objective, it matters much more then wiping some people in the field. well if you think wvw is about making points , not like farm bags or just have fun.

most upscaleds and not so tanky people die to 1 superior arrow cart… its not fine, its bullkitten and there have been huge complain threads just like about nightcapping, which got locked away and hidden by Anet which seems their strategy on communication – if we dont like, you dont see it. At least they will nerf the range, but the damage vs players is still ridiculous, making them a part of every large scaled zerg fight now +200% difficulty taking anything without abusing bugs like mesmer 1 or AC zoom.

yes im whining about FRS coming to cap gunnars every match every morning out of petty anger against our server. so what? you guys are kids… you go offtopic to determine who whines and who is strong man never cry with balls in pants.. zzzz … im just going back in game.

check reset Vynt and stop the parental arguments ty. we based our decisions on your actions, on reset surmia was the only borderland without a queue. but you came to us instead of millers, not that anyone expected something different.

bullkitten, stikko, do you even believe yourself? if millers was dangerous in morning they wouldnt sit on their boderland and let you cap ours without doing anything whatsoever, they would either push our bl aswell or push yours… not many other options assuming they dont like to play cards in their garrison lords room. now because of this kitten we have to push your borderland again in the evening to not come out 3rd when we could be in millers testing their power. just boring…

and yes i do mind the coverage issues, i was one of the first to complain in the long thread that was locked away somewhere safe by Anet. Should i have told you to kitten off gunnars back in the time? Tbh if i reflect on this question now – yes. But its not even the problem, the problem is that you FRS guys with 2-faced Stikko in the lead focus on gunnars only because you hate us. You can act friendly but i know the truth.. so when you go morning capping you go to gunnars hold borderlands and never anything else. turning this matchup that could be interesting in another war surmia vs gunnar with millers just chilling and farming points. thats whats kitten ing me off, you petty kids with your anger ruining every matchup we got against you.

that FRS guild used to cap for us in morning too … its nice to have, but it doesnt reflect your server strengths and roaming puggies have nothing to do with our BL getting capped every day 6 am. they give your server artificial ranking and your primetime gets crushed every day which will kitten people off in the end. been there, done that. FRS guild should go to some server where their morning numbers dont matter instead of fighting their petty war against their former home. looking forward to when Anet implements numbers -> points relation, that will be the end of this mess.

The Millers borderland was pretty red at reset (hills and bay ours for a long while), but not a blue dot there of course since they had to go to GH.

Suffice to say i bullied the server into this recruitment post when they are totally happy at where they are, Roo wrote this only so id finally shut up about our morning coverage.

that Golden Horde / SPRT raid kicked our kitten really bad yesterday. nice heavy punch you guys got, good team composition, running close together, not going astray during massive fights – i was very impressed. I knew from SPRT of course because they used to play on Gunnar’s, but nice to see other guilds too have taken the vacant seats of the former great piken guilds like Boon Control. I used to see lots of numbers and pugs this week by Piken, being mostly in EB. But yesterday evening on our borderland showed me Piken still have strong guilds standing for them, not just pugs.

every thread i read is about gunnars :O seems our attention whoring by posting over 9000 posts in every GH matchup thread finally pays off. GH FOTM. <3

sure… people with main char get 1 point per rank and you get as many points as you have characters? and maybe chests too? madness… or would you rather have the same wvw masteries on all your characters?

hello im from GH and i didnt know about duel spot east (or west?) of citadel. this is not common practice in our tier, sorry if we screw it up for you. we used to have duels only in windmill. i will try to spread the word on our forum. what place is it exactly that is reserved for duels?

Pheppo, haha yeah that was some good action, you guys wielded heavy punch. we could keep that circle red, though! endless stream of gunnars died for the red circle untill finally the whole server came to kick you out

Lyssa runes for full cleanse, stability, protection and and and.. + 18% damage for 5+ seconds. well… if you are doing wvw. for pve just stack that crit damage i guess ..

i’m interested to see who is going to win. riverside was very very powerfull on weekend, or at least on start of weekend. but piken doesnt seem out of the game at all, their comeback on sunday evening was madness and i expect them to have the tick lead throughout most of the week. might be a close game if riverside can secure their lead for a bit. we gunnars are going to enjoy the show and try to hit whoever is busy in the back GG!

another example of a thread where everyone arguing pro-thief with “L2P” plays a thief himself. hilarious. i’ve lost my trust in Anet that they even can fix it. because where there is no problem, there is no solution and this 3 second revealed crap showed me they dont see no problem so nvm about thief.. just build tank or get instagibbed by invisibles in wvw, thats how its supposed to be by design.

congratz RoS on first place, but also huge congratz to my fellow gunnars for secureing 2nd place despite the odds =) its been a hard week and we still managed to keep dzag under the carpet, with a little effort at last, but we did it. splendid work!

there was absolutely nothing wrong with ACs in the first place, i dont see why devs had to destroy the balance.. so uncalled for.

Splendid fun with Riot guild yesterday evening – amazing you kept coming despite all the wipes, nice effort. Did you guys even notice you were picking melee fights with a 50+ strong zerg of guardians and warriors only?

point blank zerging: longbow combo field, longbow #3, swap weapons, GS #4, Stability, GS#3.. if still not being attacked go then into gs#2 – and then off we go with gs#5. ive been running GS / LB forever and settled for bullsrush, frenzy, endure pain, signet of rage with lyssa runes (with trait: Empowered), pretty standard setup for burst zerker. i dont put any longbow traits but put all power to Greatsword (20, 20, 0, 10, 20)

nobody said a kitten word about alliance except surmians. stop it. my word was this: both servers are focusing on us. nothing more, nothing less. how this occurred is so irrelevant… its just that i wanted my experience from game (i look at the map during saturday / sunday while i was commanding a dozen hours or more) confirmed by my opponents. nothing more to discuss here about this.

Vitora, so far i had to “cry” only 2 times and both times it was confirmed immediately by the same opponents accused of it. No trouble for me, i just like it when its exposed, i dont care about your judgement of whining or crying or being bad for the community (lol! to hear this from FIRE), it just tells me you had a solid cough education.

Also Sidina what do you make up here, word on the forum was the Surmia commander begged his buddy from dzag to stop attacking them and focus on GH. you left out the request building a picture of mutual self-interest (they like each other, dont want to hurt each other <(o.o)>… ) lol, way to go..
