Thing is ur ppl has to be at the sparks already when the sparks appear. That way it will give her less time to heal. And since one of the spark runner has to run, dps/heal/tear, that guy must be good. Really good.
Sry, but I made a assumption. I think almost everyone made a assumption Ascended gear can only be acquired in fotm?
Actually the question was very badly worded. U are looking to getting an “ascended” magic find set. We almost all assumed u will upgrade ur back item. And then this is what came up to my mind:
You just spent hrs getting 1k+ relics + mats and are considering getting a back item. and then with the possible extra 5 agony resist then u r not going to use it except for farming? I was totally bewildered. And it didn’t make sense at first.
And that was what everyone assumed, including me.
Back to ur question. I will wait till jan cuz they r making changes to fotm. Who knows what changes they will make. I have a similar argument about healing.
Well mf means nothing if ur group can’t complete fractals. Try to join a group where everyone has mf gear in lv 40 and see where that will get u…

Ok I understand that this system/idea is to compliment lower lvl players to advance easier. But do we seriously want a player below 20 to do one in the 40th lvl frats? I wish there is a way to tell what lvl frats they are instead of us repeatedly asking and linking gear to prove if a player can be in our group. And sometimes there are very good players who barely has agony resist but is still able to do 30+ frats (yes I have seen some of them). So I feel that kinda discriminates good players by asking them to link their stats.
Eles are one of the most versatile classes there is. They can be tuned towards the composition of the party. If there is 2 guards and 2 wars then don’t go d/d dps Do staff support/heal. Do u really think another melee is needed if there is 4 already?
Personally I am in lvl 33 and I sometimes run into fotm with a staff for support/healing.
Yes d/d works too, but if u r just gonna stand there and not dodge/buff/heal/dps during the battle u really are of no help to the rest of the party.
And plz go play some pvp to see how eles work. Bet they r not the 1st ones to die…

Of all the times I picked flowers I found one….just one.
And I thought I was a dumb*** for crafting those consortium chest by buying skins through auctions…And didn’t get anything. But still I think I spent way too much gold for it.
I think I have around 20 of them. But that is still way way short of crafting even one jewelery.
I said this in my post earlier. But after beating Simin I found to have the same garbage as I do in ac or wherever (about 2 blues and a green). If Simin is harder, should there be better loot?
For example after beating Simin there will be 3 random lodestone waiting in the chest in addition to other stuff. Now there is an incentive to beat him.
Please install a loot table sys based on difficulty of dungeon, boss, paths, etc. it would be so much better cuz so far it is better to run around a party in cursed shore farming than in dungeons. At least u get better mats.
Really? I did it with ap pug group on the first try. Taken we had a really dumb necro who ran around for 30 min not knowing what to do while our warrior had to do his job for him, we still was able to light it. Vent is needed on this (well, at least the majority).
But after that everything was easy (minus the necro who couldn’t get pass bomb part and died I lava like 4 times).
On lighting part some killed all adds except one so they wont spawn a new set. Then they kill and lit. I however was behind his Los so I had it easy.
On standing ground the party died at least once. But the necros did their part there as they just run and kite, making it not reset b4 we got back.
Btw, we did it with 4 light armors and a warrior, I believe.
Are you even sure that you’ll get an endless Toymaker’s tonic (accbound) by combining 4 of the endless Toy tonics? I mean… it sounds quite obvious, but still.
That would mean that if you wanted the tonic, you could only craft one of the 5 minis. (I bought the Ventari for gems, and will create the plushie later on) so I managed to end up with 3 endless tonics by now. I don’t mind creating another tonic of the golemframe but… I wonder if there is a way to craft the endless Toymaker’s tonic by only using 3 of the endless ones and something else? So that you’d have your 2 pets AND a tonic maybe?
Anyway, please keep us informed what happend once you threw everything into the mystic forge. I wouldn’t dare anyway before I know the outcome.
Well let’s say if u want both the endless tonic and mini pets. With the current structure there is no way to acquire all. That is why I think that they will put something together for us to acquire everything (at least the ones through mystic forge)
and they said all events will be repeatable in la, so I guess there will be a second chance.
My guess is when the ship comes to la we can probably get more mats.
They have to let u do something with those leftover frames or for all collectables.
So I noticed that b4 Monday’s patch a lvl 80 character can still be able to get small, med, or large wintersday gifts on metrica province or lower lvl areas. But afterwards all lvl 80 drops are giant wintersday gifts. That kinda sucks, as I want to see what the lower tier gifts are all about.
I bought glacial cores and lodestones earlier, made some profit off of it.
And I am farming the jumping puzzle. Easier than getting at high lvl areas IMO.
Really? Why would anyone spent money if u can craft items and convert to keys b4 the event started?
If I had that much to spend I would have put it for more space.
This puzzle is good. Had very little trouble completing it (lowest health was at 393 and I was so slow and still got it) And I loved seeing ppl running the puzzle. But why is the snowman blocking the view at the end part so we can watch them all the way.
there’s a difference between challenging and “requiring everyone to push max dps”.
i’m a tanky guardian. that’s my thing. that’s how i choose to play and i don’t play long enough to have a dedicated glass cannon dps set.
so why am i being punished for my choices? isn’t this game supposed to be about freedom? about choosing what you want to be?
wasn’t this game about throwing off the chains of min-maxing? about getting rid of holy trinity to prevent those “need heal last spot” shouts?
well, no one’s shouting for healer, however, you can’t swing a cat in path 4 without everyone shouting “only accepting true DDs. no support please”.
how is this different? are we getting rid of healers and tanks just so that kids could play dodge style glass-cannons only?

Well guessing guardians never have to take the flak in fractals. We light armor are always taking the flak for being too squishy or not enough armor and stuff. So I guess u met ur match on this run like I do in fotm sometimes
Guardians might not be dps, but I think they have to switch role of doing tears and pulling sparks, something guards rarely expected to do in fights.
It was much easier. For one there isn’t like 20 ppl jumping. Also it is much easier as I got past the snowball the 3rd time but didn’t watch video to see where to go. But so far I only invested an hour and am pretty sure I will get it by tomorrow when I have time
As far as the forge is concerned, all items of a certain rarity are the same. So 4 named exotics into the forge is the exact same as putting in 4 crafted exotics.
Asking because I heard the rarity of the item increases the chances of a precursor. But then again I would probably just buy it with gold.
Dunno have anyone tried forging named exotics in the mystic forge b4, but does forging 4named exotics possibly give u another named exotic or even precursor or can it possibly just give u back an exotic that u can craft anyway?
Fractals was fun at first,but after doing it like 200 times and getting almost everything that u want and seeing the same lvls again and again, it becomes FarmsVille.
I am at lvl 32, and I stopped playing fotm for like a week and went to arah…oh wait, ppl farm there too…
Now I went to do Coe.?.looking for new challenges. But wait,a-net really puts emphasis for rng everywhere u go.
