Ah yes. Or tonics.
… And dark wings. Don’t forget the dark wings.
They have tabs already, don’t they? Once they’re bound to the account, they’ll be in the Mini tab, the Wardrobe, etc…
I didn’t spend money on this game to not have all those 80 levels given to me. And all of the armors/weapons.
It’s a chore!
Dear God, this is like the epitome if lazyness… in a GAME.
I mean. wow.
It should take you less than a minute to zone somewhere, run to node and get your daily. Why do you play if this is a chore?
What’s a proper lion roar? I don’t find it “sad”.
70-90 in Europe. Spikes up to 100-150 sometimes in the evenings.
OP wanted weird chars, “bad” looking… not the ones you fap onto.
So “weird and bad looking” people are also called “exotic” now?
The price of skins on TP isn’t set by A.Net, but by players.
There are 10 new ones, not 5.
He is saying “HIDDEN”.
Not Banned. If he doesn’t want to see it, he can hide them, while you can have them.
And yes, those wings are hideous and suddenly everyone was running around with dark wings.
Many… If you think there are more players complaining on the forum than there are in-game right now, I can’t help you. Even if I brought numbers you’d dismiss them anyway.
Sorry.
Wait wait… I’ve been insulting? Aggressive? Where?
Where is also the “constructive complaint” in the original post?
And I’m not the one who’s called me “noone” for the 4th time.
To reply to your comment too: People who want to buy the game won’t come to the forums to make up their mind. They read reviews, ads, or ask friends.
PS: I am not forcing anything on anyone. I’m just trying to point the other side of the coin. Complaining about a few bugs is easy. Complaining without offering a solution is easy too. And apparently, so is forgetting the number of hours you’ve spend playing a good game without any bugs.
I am in no way affiliated with ANet, I just know when a company is trying to do a good job or not. And remeber: They’re a BUSINESS. They’re purpose is to make money, not entertain us out of kindness of heart.

Complaining has an important purpose. When unsatisfied customers are going vocal other ppl become aware that advertised product may have faults. This is company’s job to avoid such mistakes in the future.
I find actually funny that such buggy patch was released soon after big sale for gw2. Isn’kitten great marketing lesson?
Yes, obviously complaining on an official forum where you need to have an account to be able to post is going to reach “other people”.
What you don’t get is that the vast majority of players are logged in and playing now.
Check the complaints on the forum: They’re all the same people.
So many “funny buggy patches”… yet GW2 is still standing strong and doing well.
I guess they’re pretty good after all
But hey, as you said, I’m not going to stop you from complaining. Please do carry on.
There’s a difference between complaining because something is really broken (as in, you can’t play), vs. just whining about some bugs.
I was playing in the past few hours. There were a ton of people in various maps. None were complaining (apart from the strange voices). This means the game is perfectly playable.
There is a “right to complain” of course, but this sense of entitlement is a plague. And gratitude is completely lost.
I’ll say this again and again.
Check the number of hours you invested in this game, and compare with the number of hours you actually couldn’t play (at all) because of game breaking bugs.
And get a reality check. Be grateful you have been able to pay for so long in a game that costs so little compared to the rest.
There’s nothing horrible happening right now with the little bugs. It’ll get fixed. And being all doomsayer about future expansions is just ridiculous. We know nothing, Jon Snow.
It’s that time of year again when everyone announces publicly that they’re taking a break/leaving forever?
Thanks for letting us know!
I had 7 dyes in 3 packs. 2 of them being Abyss.
It’s not that ridiculous of a chance, unlike what people say.
Humans are quick to forget the amazing time they spend, and always whine about the few moments where things don’t go their way. It’s universal.
Most whiners have probably over 1000h of playtime, but that’s irrelevant.
Bugs now! Anet sucks!
So basically, probability is a scam for you?
I can afford, and I can buy if I want to. I don’t NEED to.
I’d rather spend my money on more important stuff for me, ya know? Like.. Stuff that goes outside the edge of my screen? Going out, my family, my hobbies, etc..
No hypocrisy here.
Because I treat GW2 as a game.
I don’t freak out unnecessarily about trivial things.
And I don’t need to spend my money in a game. I’m happy with 3, that’s enough.
I believe in a good game, you can continue ranting.
Nope. FPV was created just to enjoy the scenery without any UI distraction, or characters.
It’s ok. Nobody cares about your scam conspiracy either Aomine.
I bought three 5-packs, I got 7 shadow dyes, two of them being Abyss.
I’d love to have more scams like that! I’m scammed rich!
You don’t have to. It’s optional.
If others want to, they can. This game isn’t just built around your desires.
A player told you…
Don’t trust players.
Just because.. why not. I just bought a second 5-pack.
Got my second Shadow Abyss. I’m rich!
One piece of advice:
Forget what you know from other MMOs before playing GW2. It’s quite different and will save you some frustration.
Congrats and good luck with 5 girls! You’re outnumbered
It’s not that bad.
Bought a 5-pack, got 3 shadow dyes from it, one of them being shadow abyss.
The point is, you probably don’t spend your money in this game and you still play as much as you want, without any monthly fees. How are they going to bring in that income?
It’s easy to complain without offering solutions. It’s just a game, and spending your time observing the tiniest details on your character is pointless. This is not a high-end premium quality real life outfit that you bought. It’s a bunch of pixels.
(And it’s ok if you don’t care about my opinion because I’m “no one”. Most people feel the same about yours too I guess.
PS: and ironically, this isn’t a “red post” that you are commenting on.)
If a restaurant you know doesn’t serve you the best meals, do you just not spend money there?
Or do you go around shouting about it, outraged that their meals are horrible?
You might not like outfits, but apparently an overwhelming amount of players like it enough to buy it. It’s a success, so they’ll continue doing it because it brings in money, and A.net is a for-profit business.
How many hours have you guys spent on this game for 50$? And then complain about the lack of quality?
You guys seem to forget that there are no monthly fees to play this game.
Should we point fingers and be outraged if a business is trying to make money?
What world are we living in?
It will probably come back with the expansion.
 Who can blame them, they are making millions of dollars doing it. The game majority is comprised of people who don’t care or don’t know any better, and until they change their minds and close their wallets, we will continue to get the cheap and easy solutions.
That sounded very elitist.
Yes, GW2 is working great because the majority of players just play and don’t expect miracles.
It’s not being an apologist.
When they delayed the patch, entitled players got mad about it.
When they released it, same players got mad about it.
It’s a game, it will always have bugs. Instead of complaining about these few days the game didn’t work for you, log in and have a very hard look at the numbers on /age.
Would be nice if some people had screenshots of how it looked before. I came to GW2 right after Scarlet was killed
4 seconds… Wow.
Sure, they don’t care. They’re just on holiday on a beach in Hawaii while everyone’s getting frustrated.
Seems like we have Anet experts on this forum… or telepaths who read devs minds.
You think they’re just sippin’ Guinness with their legs on the table, laughing together at the frustrated needy players who are complaining on the forums?
Let them work. There’s nothing game breaking in the bugs.
If it’s too hard, log off, and go enjoy other things. It’s ok.
Every time I get new equipment, and want to apply sigils or runes on them, it doesn’t allow me (red border).
I have to log out and log back in to be able to apply them.
Anyone having the same problem?
Careful, he is disappoint.
1st Person view was meant to be like this, just a view. It wasn’t supposed to turn GW2 into Skyrim.
The Shadow weapons are a matter of taste. I like them, you don’t. That’s how the world goes. Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder.
Guild chat is a bug that has a temporary fix. It will be fixed. Chill and give it a day or less.
It’s ok, it’s just a game, and it’s patch day.
Even “Real Daily Life Simulation” is full of bugs.
You know, it’s normal to get bored of something, especially since you’ve been playing from the launch.. It’s life, it’s ok.
You got your worth of the 50$ you paid. Move on if it doesn’t interest you, plenty of other games or other things to do. Nobody needs to justify himself for getting bored
It downloaded the 2 remaining files, but at full speed (instead of 60kb), took 30 sec.
Thanks for this! Worked for me too.
Story/Lore is accessible by reading books.
You’re supposed to be a hero, someone who knows how to do things, and knows how to fight.
Otherwise Rytlock would probably just get a villager to do the work instead of you.
A game without a challenge is an extremely boring game.
I need to voice my opinion: I hate the drill sergeants at Claypool in Queensdale. They annoy me with their condescending voice when I’m crafting.
It’s pretty offensive if I may say so.
So in another thread we told you to change your build to something a little more offensive. You still refuse to listen and keep on whining?
Adapt.
PS: I killed it with my ranger, equipped with a shortbow and no ascended gear, in less than 10min.
