Here we go with another Tarnished Coast Tuesday! It started early for Commander Jadon last night but he can lead the militia as well as [PiNK]. Here’s to you TC, enjoy the lead no matter how long it lasts!

Imagine my surprise when I loaded my 5000 badges into my bags and headed to the vendor. I’d liken it a bit to waking up extra early at age 5 on Christmas morning to open your amazing new presents only to find your parents murdered under the tree. I left with all my badges in the hope this is just the framework for the real stuff to be added later.

This is the part where we get excited for doing well and everyone calls us sore winners :P

Yeah, thats what i meant too :P Skill lag. We all get it in those situations, and like I said, all 3 sides its almost a guarantee.

Anytime all 3 sides are involved, expect lag. Its part of the reason SM is such a beating.

If you were on TC last night, you got to enjoy a ride-along with [PiNK]. Here’s a couple minutes as the night began. Be the guild that works with us and all the other great N/A guilds when our Primetime players log.

If you are looking for a home, and not just another place to land on till it all falls apart again, TC is the best choice out there. We are a proven commodity that fights win or lose till the very end. Our community is the best out there and we have a strong NA contingent that is used to winning back well defended points after they were lost overnight. Pst me for more details.

You not seeing Kain taking over the east side of the map? We’ve been madly dashing from side to side to try to hold what little we can with our dwindling forces.

Sorry bad choice of words, I meant the 1-2 punch you guys packed on us in the west camp. I didn’t mean to insinuate you were working together even if it might have appeared that way.

I find spying far more annoying in its effects on chat and morale then any real tactical reasons. You want to spy on [PiNK] or TC, go ahead, because you still have to beat us on the field when we get there. The constant talking about spying this or spying that whenever the enemy surprises you is stupid though. It isn’t hard to read the map and figure out your opponents next move…I assume people on both sides can do that.

Fun fights [WM]! I hope you are sticking around for some more.

Final score for this match as [PiNK] gathers for reset! Last night we made a final push and FA put up a great defense all around. Still, there were amazing fights all over the map from a failed attempt at Hills, to our own successfull defense of Bay. Cheers to FA’s highest finish yet and I promise that we will push even harder this week. See you very soon!

Here’s a little bit of fun from last night while we were on KABL!

Welcome to Tier 2 [AoN] lol. And [RE] good fights as always! We won’t give up!

Okay … one thing to note. … and we talk about this all the time on TS.

TC is very good at ninja’ing our work. Basically will let us treb down a wall, and start pressuring with enough force to swoop in before we get there. We’re very aware of this, and they are very good at it. Have done it so many times on us these past 6-8 weeks, we get wise to expect it.

We hit TC hard on the weekend, not focusing at all on FA, really. To maybe see you change your tone, but alas… you won’t. And seeing that you hit us hard on Monday, very hard … we decided to focus back on you starting last night in EB. Poke a bear, see if he ignores it. Kain won’t. Did you notice when your NA squad came in to SM after trebbing, not long after we pushed you back out, TC was hitting our north gate with 3 golems and there army. It wasn’t fun at all, and things we’re looking as though we may soon be losing SM. Then we got a stroke of luck when our eye was on durious, and focusing on your seige/walls. We we’re still building our numbers and organization, and going camps, when TC took durious. Hell yes, because we couldn’t break your meat grinder on this side off the bridge.

But to ignore the fact that we hit TC hard for the first 3 days, is a little biased. Kain will hit each opponent so please stop the 2v1. In my example above, we had to defend for hours looking at the elephant in the room, with little options. But we don’t come here Jski and ask WTF?

Its frustrating whenever your fighting any downhill prolonged defense against both servers. But happens. Before FA come to play with us, we had BG.

Guess what, many … many times, we had hills, with one on our south gate and the other server on the north. TC does a great job scouting and taking opportunities where they lie. Kaineng learned that from our prior battles with BG & TC. They’ve also improved incredibly since we first fought and I see why they get the name ‘Zombie Coast’.

FA is a formidable opponent, we have high respect for you guys, and enjoy the battles. We love to fight, and learn where we can.

God forbid you partook in our BG TC Kain bay keep or hills 3 ways, those were battles where one attack became a map focused attack and fastest from rally res would win the keep. Many times, every server has to fend off both servers when there is an opportunity.

Mags once had to fend off 2 servers for 2 solid days straight. So maybe think about it a little, but I get your frustrations, and have been there before. It will happen many in T2. Need more facts that don’t include FA, but show the exact thing happening over and over all the time?

We generally walk away from those battles feeling like ‘wow, that was awesome’ … even if we lost. Trust me, I like building siege and defending SM, and you know how many times that place is subject to changing color (in general). I go down the … “we can’t hold out against this much longer” path often, but I move on and think how or what we could/should do next.

I always enjoy reading honest perspective from the other side. I was just mentioning to someone the other day how Kain’s game changed from the BG matchup to this one. You guys are playing alot more like BG did, guarding secure points on all maps and not really initiating too much till there’s a real opportunity. Of course this is just the NA’s perspective, but in an odd way, it sort of contributes to alot of fighting between FA and TC.

It was just updated last night about 8 hrs ago…relax?

There are many different ways to play ranger. Thats how you play it in zerg v zerg where mobility, condition removal, survival and tagging are the key. I <3 ranger. As for coordination, it just requires trusting your scouting, mesmers, and commander to make the right calls.

I’m sure you guys have some great videos too. Lets try to keep the great sportsmanship going on this week’s thread though instead of filling it with hurt feelings. Its really been great matching up against [RET] in FABL this week and I’m sure both teams are enjoying the great fights.

I find GvG pointless because it really only showcases 1 part of what makes a true wvw guild good at…wvw. Much like the difference between a duel and simply stumbling upon a 1v1 in open world pvp. That being said, I see this as a server community issue and not one Anet need to delve into any more than jumping puzzle farming. If guilds feel they can relax on the ppt drive a bit and do some GvG then thats what they should do, who am I to tell them not to.

What say we all just agree the past is the past, and today we start anew? Here’s to another great week of fights and fun. [PiNK] is getting ready as we speak.

I think part of transitioning from tier 3 to tier 2 is figuring out how to kill alot •and• get ppt at the same time. If you kill people enough, they stop coming back. On that note…an I the only one who really loves reset? I look forward to it all day!

At the end of the day, WvW is really nothing more than a team building excercise. You find a community and you become a part of this large problem solving unit whereby you find purpose and meaning in your life. Much like a cult, if you buy into it, you begin to assimiliate its successes with your own, and its failures as well. Bow to the server, the server must win, it must gain rating ever moving up and I must collect all the bags I can while it happens because thats a win too. ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY SERVER!

The week is coming to and end, but for sure there are plenty of great fights left to come and a pretty tight race. As a member of [PiNK] I want to thank FA especially for some really great fights in our time slot. We have defended, assaulted, battled, killed, died and run from [BT], [PD], and [RET] alot and it has never been boring. We are looking forward to another solid week and we hope can bring some new tricks to keep you guessing! See you tonight!
