I don’t usually speak to 2v1’s, but I did want to make one point and I hope its understood in its general sense and not as some specific case. If a commander leads his guys to take your North Tower, and he gets his butt handed to him and sent home a couple times, he might just try the other side and come for the third team’s spawn tower instead. What I’m trying to say is, people seek out the softest targets, so if your stuff isn’t as heavily defended, you are going to lose it more often.

What this translates into is people reading the map incorrectly. They look over and see nothing green on FABL and assume its because Kain didn’t try to take it. It doesn’t show if they tried and failed.

You would think, and yet every time someone brings up a claim of 2v1 they usually bring up a location in EB.

Anyone ever notice that most of the claims of 2v1’s, from all matchups, come from EB? Sometimes I think EB is just its own little mini-verse that makes people paranoid and anti-social.

So, do you guys literally have people who sit back in the keeps, receiving scouting reports, watching the maps and timers in all 4 BLs, keep tabs on which guild groups are active in what BLs, and are in charge of allocating and directing your forces from on high?

Cuz…that’d be pretty freaking amazing. Maybe boring, since you don’t get to fight, but incredibly effective in terms of PPT. I know we tend to tunnel vision on the field.

I use Playclaw 4. Its not free, for me at least, but there’s very little fps loss. It rocks.

Even though [PiNK] wasn’t out in force last night, I hung around with [CERN] and lots of other guilds and just tried to do my part as a good militia member. I recorded a little here . This particular encounter surprsingly featured 3 pretty good zergs from all sides and the mayhem that ensued. You rock Tier 2!

I spend most of my time in WvW on the Tarnished Coast in a great guild. I also record alot of the fun! I thought some rangers who don’t read the WvW sub forums might enjoy seeing a couple wvw videos from a Ranger’s PoV.

This particular video is from last night where I was hanging with a couple different guilds on the enemies borderland. Nothing fancy or groundbreaking but I did get lots of loot and had a great time. Hope to see more rangers out there! Check out my other videos to see more of my guild as well.

Lets bring this thread back down a bit shall we? TC had an amazing night last night, probably the biggest server wide push we have ever had and it was alot of fun. People think we aren’t *competitive" because we are wimpy rpers, or that we are just content to be third or second or drop down a tier. It simply isn’t true. We know our weaknesses and we are still learning our strengths, every tier, every match. We don’t give up midweek and we keep coming back stronger.

FA…You are and probably always be our fierce rival. SoS had JQ, BG has SoR and we have you. You make us better at wvw but sometimes a little worse in the forums. Still, like i said last week, you guys don’t deserve to be in Tier 3 anymore than we do. We both have alot of spirit and great guilds and I think we bring out good fights in eachother, and thats all that really matters right?

I got an exotic too :P It was only worth 2 g though ;9

Well, now TC is showing how non-innocent they can be. Don’t get me wrong, there’s great people on TC (every server has great people) but please stop toting yourselves as the most innocent/civil server, because you’re not. Your trolls, just like every server’s trolls, prevent TC from being the godsend, most civil server. If that person was from PiNK, that sucks, because its tarnishing PiNK’s name. Sunspots seems like a really nice person, so I’m sure s/he will deal with this person if this person is from PiNK.

Hint – being an RP server does not prove innocence.

Deyja is a good commander, and like all good commanders he gets harassed daily both in private tells and group invites. Looks like he finally broke and fought back a little though it was probably not in the right way. Hopefully we can all agree to be more civil in game with eachother so good guys aren’t pushed so far they break character. Great fights everyone and we will see you tonight!

Titling that video “BT and Friends…” when I only counted a few BT is kind of misleading. I saw AVTR, Drgn, TFAS, BT, SHOT, LUST, Shh…so, yeah. Seems more like an assorted bunch, rather than a BT core group with a few odd militia, as the title implies.

You know, just in case you were trying to say that you pulled a fast one on a guild that many people considered to be quite skilled.

Fair enough. I think in my mind I was insinuating there were [BT] in the mix but not their guild as a whole so I added “and friends.” Looking back on it, it was a poor choice of title, so I’ll change it. And really, its a compliment. Anytime [BT] is on a map in any capacity, they are worth keeping an eye on. We have been spending alot of time on FABL, so of course we are going to run into you alot because you have also been spending alot of time on FABL.

I don’t understand all the FA posters saying that KN is winning because of PvD. For over two hours this morning we (FA) held WM and Meow from capping our garrison. It was some of the best WvW/FA performances I have seen, and it really discredits us few SEA timeslot players when you basically state that we don’t exist. Yes we are outnumbered, but discrediting KN’s advances while we are outnumbered discredits our own accomplishments when we are the ones heavy in population.

Any points achieved during FA downtime are hard fought, and us valiant few are here to make sure of that. The problem with this morning is that our defense ultimately cost us ppt. KN stayed in FABL to take garrison for hours, whereas if they capped the whole thing they would have left and allowed us to recoup our loses, which is what happened in TCBL.

Having actually stayed awake a few times and seen what it’s like during SEA time, you guys deserve a ton of credit. It’s easy to be a NA player and enjoy the good team fights and roughly even numbers. It can be incredibly difficult and frustrating to do what you guys do day in and day out, not to mention demoralizing. However, it can also be quite fun to re-enact the battle of Thermopylae on an hourly basis. So, kudos to you guys.

I think our point was just directed at the KN zergs that run around that time. PvDoor is boring as hell, I know that many of us just stopped WvWing during certain periods in our t3 time. Run around, smack a door. Kill a NPC, sit in circle. Run around, steam roll a smaller group in an uninteresting fight. Smack a door. Repeat.

It’s no accusatory – I know that it’s just unfortunate server composition during their gaming time; I’m just honestly confused as to how they find enjoyment in that, day after day.

Kain’s nightcrew recently spent alot of time against BG, so I can say with certainty that they have been tested. While [PiNK] rarely gets to enjoy PvD, we would probably consider this an easy week during our own timezone, but it doesn’t mean we are having less fun. Kain wants to be in T1 and I think they will have their chance soon. They will get there by taking everyone’s points, defended or otherwise.

Just because your paranoid doesn’t mean people aren’t really out to get you.

Its part of the game. Sure it isn’t something you find anywhere else, but why does that make it bad? Its like trying to play checkers with chess pieces, you can do it, but why not just learn how to play chess? Play the game in front of you, not the one that you created inside your head.

Wouldn’t let me quote for some odd reason, but yeah, we did have alot of great fights on reset with BT. We both play similiarly so I have about 30 minutes worth of us playing cat n’ mouse while angling for an attack. And on that note, I just added 3 more videos from reset night including this one with tons of Kaineng in it!d

Ya, not really bragging here. I have been making tons since the loot change. I assumed all the guilds in the top tiers were.
