From what I’ve seen so far in KABL, you guys have maybe around 20 in there, but control most of the map. TC is having too much fun going after FA to bother with your stuff.

That’s what happens when you try to use our spawn tower to farm militia. Either way, its good fights, and there’s going to be a lot more, so I hope you are having as much fun as we are.

Speaking of trebs…here’s a little hot treb action from KNBL last night. People always ask why most of my videos feature us killing FA, and I have looked back and found to my surprise, it’s true. Must be some cosmic coincidence. Enjoy us killing some of our friends on Kaineng for a change

Here’s a little bit of last night. [PiNK] was mostly playing minecraft I think lol, but the rest of us tried to just have some fun and not worry too much about taking anything.

Fun fights on FABL.

I meant it as a compliment. Kite, run, same thing. If you see something and go the other way, you are running away till you stop or they catch you. They strengthen the zerg because people are learning not to drift too far behind, or wonder off, or stay for that last kill despite the call to leave.

And while we’re on the subject, would anyone mind if we removed “Spikes” from the game? Does anyone really want 76 spikes worth 2s in their inventory at the end of the night, and more importantly, does anyone want to take the time to go back and grab a bag when it contains 1 spike? Are these here to punish us? Did we do something wrong? And what part of the body is the “spike?” Why do so many invaders carry them?

The uplevel bonus in this game is huge. Try getting a lvl 1 and standing in a buffed keep. You will have 3000 of all stat. If you can’t survive as a newbie, just wearing some cheap vitality gear…you will have 30000 hp. Honestly, your issue is that you don’t know what you are doing.

AoN’s strategy is to run, unless they can win. We all know it. We basically ignore them till we know we can trap them and the rule is, if you die to AoN its because you weren’t where you were supposed to be. That’s why the zerg doesn’t bother turning around to save people. In an odd way, AoN strengthens the zerg.

I do think what they do is effective though, and certainly I have seen them kill larger numbers than themselves. When they are on the BL, we are very aware of it.

I’ve literally never died this way.

I always think its funny how last week’s match disappears so quickly from everyone’s mind and each new day you are just as unsure of the outcome as before. What surprises await us!?!

One final goodbye to last match as a new one begins. Everyone loves reset, at least on TC. I hate to sound smug, but I think its going to be a good one, so lets keep it classy and remember to respect each other! Here’s just a quick minute of last night, but it pretty much sums up the week for [PiNK].

I just wanted to give a slap on the back to the TC militia. We got hit hard briefly on Thursdat night by FA and KN on TCBL. Bay was penetrated by both, we lost all our wall seige, but in the end, we repelled both FA and KN. All our wall seige neede rebuilding, and wow, our Militia responded(at this time, for whatever reason, both FA and KN left our borderland), I saw people rebuilding all inner and outer wall seige in short time. Nice going. Hugs to you all.

Best militia in the game, hands down.

I think all bodies should just drop heads and other body parts. Then you go to a butcher vendor or some sort of npc that will turn it into wvw only foods like jerky. The jerky can be eaten for specific wvw buffs like “loot more bodyparts from kills” and you can trade the severed heads in for rares and exotics. Entrails could be a new wvw only currency.

I’m not sure about the uproar about “hogs?” Who doesn’t like bacon? I mean seriously, I question anyone’s logic who doesn’t like bacon. I believe most of this was posted on our private forums to get the troops pumped up. If you plan to keep reading our forums and getting mad then so be it. It is our area to talk trash and have fun, I think our guys talk more smack to each other than they do TC, such thin skin, would hope you would be more mature and used to a little needling. But it’s ok, keep balling up in 60 man groups, it only makes for more fun right!? Who doesn’t love skill lag! Man I wish we could turn T2 meta into a new T1 meta, stacking servers, maxed map cap zergballs doing battle all smashing 111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111 for victory. I think it’s been kinda ugly lately with TC-v-FA largely due to that widely circulated FA forum post about the “hogs” of TC. While I’m sure it doesn’t reflect the views of all of FA, it was “liked” by many of the FA community, and was a really low, immature, deluded, prideful, and non-factual post.

I also don’t see how it was ‘liked by many of the fa community’… probably 5 people lol’d at it publicly, and there were several that said ‘knock it off’. Please quit overgeneralizing.

I wonder this every day. I have never talked to or known anyone who takes spvp seriously. The only reason anyone I know does any spvp is for the titles and occasionally to try out a new class. Where is this so called new e-Sport that is going to take the world by storm. The developers need to realize 2 things:

1) Wvw is full of potential. Even in its rather disregarded state its very popular and, so far, hasn’t required much to make it better. People have been dying for wvwvw combat since DAOC and no one else is as close as you to actually making that happen.

2) Spvp is not the future. Most of that audience is playing DOTA 2 or LoL and the rest are content to run battlegrounds in WoW. Tell your shareholders your sorry you promised them an e-sport but now you have a new thing called WvW that you think they will like.

It would be 3 weeks of beatings and hard feelings till it all came out just like it is now. Why exactly would you want this, and what would it accomplish?

Red is by far better than blue, but even worse than blue is green if you can’t hold SM. This is rare but deserves mention :P

This week TC attracted some coveted night-time guilds, and I say good for them. FA will do what it has always done: hang in there, adapt, and keep fighting.

The stronger our opponents are, the stronger we seem to become.

Here’s a score update for those asking.

TC makes no apologies for recruiting and we do it quite openly. When you have something good going, you want to share it. WvW may be just killing nubs to some servers, but for us, its about building a community. We have an amazing player base whose interests include every aspect of Guild Wars 2, and its not limited to guild tag boundaries either.

If your server is content to stagnate and not grow its community, then by all means continue, but I imagine there are a couple sheep among the wolves that actually enjoy meeting new people and making new friends. You do a great disservice to them when you scorn what’s beyond the horizon.

Everyone knows coverage is a huge gap between tiers, but the other factor people forget is the concentration of wvw guilds. In tier 3 and below, a single good wvw guild can completely game change the entire tier simply by dominating a single borderland during their primetime. As you move up though, you have dominant guilds on every map that require the same level of organization to counter.

Its interesting to me that the FA – TC rivalry keeps both servers growing and getting stronger. Who knows, maybe we will both meet in Tier 1 and battle it out for true first some day?

For all we know FA could lose a couple guilds in a month due to boredom/burnout and drop to T4, and that is ust where we belong. I’m sure if the population of a server was lower the fights would be ust as good

I think you misunderstand the FA philosophy when you say stuff like this. Kain can recruit whoever and whenever they want. That’s not a question. And we will fight whoever and whenever they are on.

But it puts Kain in a funny spot. You treat them like children when they are not. And then when a players suggest its given some time, they get attacked for even speaking.

Come on guys and gals. You can’t control everything and not get called out for acting like a sow.

Having played against Kaineng for the last few weeks and before, I can tell you they are a class act. They are one of the few servers that could really benefit with just a single NA guild and the NA they have is pretty hardened and really good at defending. If you want to jump straight into the most even tier in the game, you can’t go wrong with KA.

TC is awesome. Imagine joining a server where essentially everyone is in one large guild. At anytime you can just switch mumble channels and follow a great commander on any borderland knowing you are going to be part of its success. The vibe is good, the momentum is palpable, and people genuinely like logging in and helping out even if we happen to be in third place. TC is the real thing.

I think this thread has gone through enough trauma for one day! Lets end the weekend with a little good cheer. Very even fights this weekend and whatever the week holds, its a great way to spend a Sunday.

Personally I would love to drop to t2, T1 is still unplayable even with the culling fix. Skill lag only bennefits the zergs. Smaller scale coordination goes out the window when you can’t use your skills.

You guys act like T2 is the sticks lol. T2 is really no different than t1 except coverage.

The reason they don’t want to give exact numbers is because its subject to change much like they did a month ago to try to ease some skill lag. By not giving exact numbers they have more flexibility.

For those who were trapped in queues or just not in our borderland choice for the evening, here’s a taste of some [PiNK].

Great reset FA. To the [HOPE] group: Those were some fun ruin’s fights! We certainly don’t mind fighting over a pointless bridge as long its fun. Whenever you guys we’re actually syncing with [AoN] it made for some really challenging cat n’ mouse fights. The whole BL was very turtley, too much for my taste though, so I went to bed early. Still, hopefully TC will bring it tonight.
