I really think this was intentional. Any damage you apply should reveal you. Idk it’s kind of a gray area because both effects are applied at the same time by stealing.
then they should list it on the patch notes.
I realize not a great many of thief players combine these traits, but this glitch is very bad for d/p specs.

I’ve been playing Ranger/Thief in PvP since Closed Beta, and after coming back from about a year break, I can’t use my old PvP Thief build.
I went into a sPvP game, and couldn’t even 1v1 a 2h Ranger. I’m not sure what has happened to the class, it’s been nerfed so many times, but I’m looking for a semi-viable build to use on mine.
What is strong now? Or does anything work anymore?
something is wrong with the class right now, started with recent patch and the mug+hidden thief problem. timing is all screwed, Ive been playing thief since launch also mainly as d/p.
I thought I was crazy but yes, timing on several skills seem different now. My steal is getting interrupted resulting in nothing but a cool down timer on my steal. Mug+hidden thief no longer work together.
I feel so betrayed
I think the change is actually on hidden thief, it seems to be not stealthing immediately and instead taking a fraction of a second longer or have a cast time now.

Hi Im a scrub with poor social skills and shunned by all guilds. now with mega server the zones are always full of ppl forced into the zone. I think this is a positive change because I don’t want to be part of an organized guild yet still want to be part of their success.
I think the same change should be implemented into WvW so we can have zerg action at all times of day. The large organized WvW guilds cant stack the zone with experienced players and we can all just smash our heads together. Yes I know EotM does this but I want season3 rewards based on the work of others.
also how about time share legendary weapons? I would like to hold an Eternity and swing it around for a few minutes.
