Druid/Shaman style professions is definitely something I would love to see. Make it happen!

So 12 pages worth of data for them..and yet we still have no response. Pretty soon it will be 2 months since that awful patch, and in those 2 months we haven’t received a single response regarding this. I just wonder if it will be like that for every single thing in the future. The relationship between us and you ArenaNet needs to change. I have no idea how many times I’ve written this already and I’m sorry but I’m frustrated beyond belief.

After I didn’t farm for a week i farmed Cursed Shore events for like an hour and something today. I know it isnt that long but i thought i’d share.

I was using a MF banner, a MF bar, MF gear and a MF booster ( lol that’s a lot of MF in one sentence) and for all the events I did, I did not receive a SINGLE rare. Nothing, nada!

Fix your game anet please, this is getting beyond frustrating

I haven’t done Jormag, or any Dragon event for that matter in months. Lots of people in my guild just stopped doing them as well as it is just a waste of time..It’s really sad :/

Go to the Jump Puzzle daily and check if there are Mesmers in there that are porting. Do the puzzle like this on all possible characters you have and it’s easy. That’s how I got most of my badges and it wasn’t boring nor hard :P . Good Luck !

The most I’ve had has been 120g, just enough for the Tier 3 cultural set

I really don’t understand this. They even play their own game, and I’m sure we do not need to provide them with data in order for them to see that the drops have been reduced. This is just prolonging the inevitable until they tell us something (that is of course if they ever do).

I don’t understand why is it so hard for you to just come out and admit it. Pretty soon it’s going to be 2 months since that god awful patch and we haven’t received a SINGLE word from you. I don’t know what you want to do with your game, but this silence is certainly not the way. The other thread had thousands of people say that they are seeing reduced drops, yet it is like we do not know what we are talking about.

I guess there are still tons of people buying gems and until they continue we will not receive a word on this. Sad, sad :/

More and more each day I’m starting to lose any desire to play. Something has to change soon for gods sake.. I’m doing events regularly and I’m not receiving any meaningful loot. I’m getting so frustrated at this I can’t even express it.

I’ve played since release and never had this problem before now. When I went to visit my parents for the holidays. I’m now stuck on Wifi through a router. I get the black screen instantly after loading screen (which takes way longer than usual) and can only get out with a hard reboot. I’ve tried portforwarding the gw2 ports with the www.portforward.com guide, but it did nothing.

It is interesting though; it seems it’s got something to do with the network. Which to me makes no sense at all. Never had this issue on the same computer with the same speccs before this.

However, my brother still lives with my parents and have been playing guild wars here without problems :-/ HALP!

I’d like to try and disable SPI, but my router won’t let me. It’s an Inteno fg101r2 if anyone’s got the knowhow.

I’ve got the same problem. I went back home for the holidays like 3 or 4 days ago and since then I’ve started getting black screen at least 1 or 2 times a day. This never happened before and I have no idea what may be causing it..

Did around 4-5 hours of Cursed Shore events the other. I took breaks of course, it wasn’t 5 hours straight. Got a tons of Whites, some blues and greens, and ZERO yellows. I ran with full MF gear, Omnom bars, and MF banners whenever I found one.

When I get the time to play some more I’ll post more data, however by now I just don’t expect it to be better.

We’ve seen reports from players questioning the randomness of the drop mechanisms in GW2 and in particular asking if it’s been changed recently. This is not the case and we don’t think that the randomness mechanism is misbehaving, but we’re running some data to be sure there isn’t anything unexpected going on. So far nothing shows anything suspicious but we’ll keep gathering data and analyzing it. Finally we get an answer, however I’m sorry but you cannot simply tell us there is nothing suspicious. If, indeed what you are saying is right, then you simply lied to us when you mentioned in the November 15 patch notes that the drop rates ARE increased. We are not blind, nor stupid and it is clear as daylight something has changed, why the developers can’t be straightforward about it is a different question.

Well..I’m kitten as **** right now. I’ve farmed for like 3 or 4 hours today(not straight, took some breaks) and I haven’t gotten a SINGLE rare. On top of that, my game decided to go crazy and I’ve been getting either a black screen every 15-20 minutes or getting disconnected. Just awesome! :P

I started having this problem from today as well. I have no idea what is causing it and this is the first time this has happened to me while playing GW2. I log-in play for a couple of minutes and then I get a black screen and can’t do anything. No clue how to fix this and it is really frustrating as I cannot play at all…

I’ve been having almost the same issues since Tuesday, though in my case I get disconnected. It is really frustrating and I can’t for the life of me figure out what is causing this. :/

I doubt sending a report will do anything.. We have a thread here with 20 pages, yet we still don’t have a response from them. I guess one can dream but still chances are very, very slim :/

Doubt it’s hurting them that much, given that it’s been a month now and we’ve got no response whatsoever I’m willing to believe lots of people still give them real life money.. What a shame, with every passing day I’m becoming dissatisfied with all of this. I even consider starting to play WoW again. (yeah I said it) :/

It’s really sad that we still don’t have a response. I’m almost done with all of my University work for this Term and pretty soon I’ll be able to play much more than 2-3 hours a day. All of this is making me consider playing something else just because it is so unrewarding and frustrating to play this game at the moment..

I’m not sure if there was any “ninja-fix” but I’ve gotten more rares in 2 hours in Orr today, than I’ve gotten in the last 2 weeks, with no change in my habitual farming routes. Anyone else having such luck?

All I want for Christmas..is a LongBow for my Guardian! It’s not much eh? The moment I picture it in my head, running with a LB on my Guard firing arrows and putting everything in blue flames..ohh chills! I really hope they give us a Bow in the future

Believe what you will mate, I, for one, believe lots of people still play. European servers are mostly full as well, it’s not only NA.

Guys, I’m sad to say this, but it’s been almost a month and we’ve gotten no response. It’s really sad that they didn’t at least tell us but what can you do..It was fun while it lasted (loot that is)

This. We all know that Greatswords get all the love in this game. He(kitten)ll, you have a choice of 3 Greatswords and 1 of everything else. It’s extremely disappointing that some get particle effects and footprints and options when others don’t.

Makes me want to go back to thinking of creating Incinerator/Bolt/Quip… ANYTHING a Thief could use that’s comparably awesome in skin but has better effects. Shooting rainbows is cool, but not enough.

Indeed for now Greatswords seem to have gotten most of the love, but in the future this might change and other weapons might be better looking than the Greatswords :P

For the last couple of days whenever i go to Gendarran Fields for my daily i see the same ones killing mobs. I keep reporting them but so far nothing :/

No it shouldn’t. Tier 3 is a long-term goal what’s so hard to understand? You will be able to buy it after months, if you don’t want to grind. And it’s only a skin. The price is right as it is.
And it shouldn’t be sold with karma. Karma is used for other more important stuff like legendary components. Besides that it doesn’t change anything because you’ll have to grind for karma so no point.
And again I repeat it’s a long-term goal, for those of course that want to bother with getting the skins and transmute them to exotic. It’s just a skin, you can live without it, especially since it is only rare and not exotic.

119 G is not a long term goal for most players, it’s an impossible one.

That’s why there are plenty of Dungeon sets to chose from for those that can’t/won’t obtain the money needed for a Tier 3 set. :P

This is NOT about stupid champions people… it is the OVERALL DROP RATE if you ever farmed cursed shore events thats where it shines the most. Lost of NORMAL MOBS you farm get multiple rares per event now you get 1 maybe in 3 events.

I get your point, but I would give my eye teeth for a rare every 10 events. As it sits now I got one, count them ONE rare for over 25 hours of play. Even excluding the champs that is a VERY poor drop rate. ANet, I already have a full time job, I’m not looking for another.

Same with me. This bug or whatever you may call it ( I really wish it is a bug ..) is making me not want to play. Believe it or not I actually enjoyed doing the events in Cursed Shore quite a lot – especially when you were rewarded with a lot of rares. Now all I’m getting is those stupid bones which make me go nuts.

I posted in the old thread and I’m gonna post here as well. I have noticed a huge decrease in the drops of rare items, instead of an increase as the patch notes clearly stated. I do hope this is a bug that will get sorted soon as it is really frustrating getting those awful Bones all the time! :/

The price is perfectly fine in my opinion and I really hope they don’t make them cheaper. It is something that should be acquired a bit harder – plus it is not really hard to reach 120 gold..

The funny thing is, in the patch notes it was written that drops are increased, but I haven’t noticed it. I barely get any rares while farming Orr now and it is not only me. I really wish they would at least tell us why they have nerfed drops instead of increasing them…

Gingerbread Greatsword! Oh my God the awesomeness of this sword!

For me, the T3 heavy is the best looking armor set in the game and I love how it looks on my Sylvari (although mine is a female) . It doesn’t look that bad on a male but I have to agree that it is more suited for female characters. It’s still awesome though!

It’s really hard to chose just one lol! I really love all the Norn areas (and I play a Sylvari!) I may have to go for Frostgorge Sound as well. Something about icy terrains just speaks to me

Just give me a Longbow for my Guardian and I will be as happy as a little kid on Christmas lol!

I agree as well. I’m going really slow for my legendary as I can’t play that much nowadays, but my main focus is on it at the moment and all my mats and gold go towards it!

To be honest drops are terrible in Cursed Shore as well. I don’t know what it is but after that patch in which drops were supposedly increased, me and everyone I have spoken to started getting less rares. I really, really hope it’s some bug and they will fix it because it is really frustrating at the moment.

Stop complaining. The event isnt mandatory if you dont like it and dont want to do it then just dont. Yes the event was frustrating at times but overall its enjoyable and it kept me entertained for a long time!

Even Cursed Shore is dead now. No one is out in the open world anymore, which to me is kinda sad :/

I agree with what Crackbone has said. The market isn’t the same anymore and things are changing incredibly fast. Gaming as it once was, is gone. And I can’t believe this thread has 87 pages now, bloody hell!

I like what the new patch is going to bring as well and can’t wait to try it all out in-game! A big thank you arenanet keep up the good work!

Of course it doesn’t say those items are better but people just have the need to start bashing and whining before they have seen anything. Best thing to do is just stop reading, because it’s not good for the few sane people that are here.

This is my Guardian. At the moment I’m going with Celestial and I think the blue one was River Dye. Just suits her the best! :P

People will never be satisfied. If ANET make legendaries easier to obtain then people will whine that now it is too easy and almost half the players have it. If they leave it like it is now people will continue to whine that it is too hard and it should be way easier. It’s a lose-lose situation either way :/

Agreed. I’ve never liked a class in an MMO so much before. This is the first time that I don’t have the desire to make an alt lol!
