I just received a message that they refund used black lion salvage kit for when the bug was active. I guess everyone gets it, since I didnt report for just 1 black lion salvage kit. Even when you received it from a daily achievement, since I received it from a daily. Tnx very much, was not needed, bugs can happen.

It’s a prison. It isn’t supposed to be enjoyable, and maybe (not really, actually a statistical fact from US social scientists observation of foreign prisons) if more real prisons were like it criminals might actually make the necessary changes to their lives to not ever go back.
While I couldn’t care less about a quest in a video game, I find it funny that you’re suggesting prisons should whip/physically abuse their inmates irl :P
For example, I remember going out a few times with parties consisting of no healers or tanks – we did well because we instead brought a frost controller and a force field defender. Rather than worrying about tanking to hold aggro or healing to keep people alive, the frost controller would lock-down groups of enemies in various ways and the force field defender would prevent us from taking damage by layering on the bubbles while the rest of us would clean-up.
Controllers were love, same with Dominators. My Illusion/Cold could “tank” and debuff with perma PA. I miss how it was never about not having enough dps in sf/tfs, it was usually about how much debuff you had >.>
I also miss Stalkers. People complain about stealth in pvp here…..
Doubt they’d be doing it if it was illegal :P Pretty sure they get around it by selling gems, not the items themselves. Sort of like Pakitteno in Japan.

There’s no way to make AT LEAST 1g per hour just playing normally.
If you play normally you can make 1-2 gold PER DAY, unless you luck up and get some exotic or something equivalent in value.
Play an 80 instead of a level 1?
I’m in game poor atm, but I don’t consider 1g+ a chore on an 80 :P

Maybe i forgot to mention that i don’t farm, don’t do more than 2 runs in CoF (path 1-2) once 2 or 3 days, and i don’t play the TP.
I just do WvW, world events and occational dungeon runs with guildies.
So i probably don’t play as intended.
I run 0 CoFs a day, and tend to only wvw. 1g an hour is not crazy though. I tend to play the tp occasionally, but I’m not even counting that :P Mainly just drops, although with playing the tp in the background it’s a lot more gold.

I’d use the elite slot for a 4th utility in a heart beat.
I enjoy Dagger Storm/MI and TW/RF on my mains, but I’m not in love with them :P I’d trade them at the drop of the hat for another utility. Although I suspect it’d bring horrible balancing issues.
I kitten and complain all the time, but I actually agreeing about having my moneys worth. If I get 20 hours out of a game, I feel like I got my moneys worth.
GW2 is a different beast altogether for me. I just feel like there was an abundant amount of potential and it was all flushed down the crap shoot.
I can understand that. I came in with only youtube videos of Mesmers in spvp (even though I have never really spvped in this game since release). So I didn’t really have expectations. The monthly updates don’t seem like something to get angry about though. I’m sure there’s a bit more than what’s in the bullet points.
Not being happy with a feature or direction of a game is fine. I just find it funny when people complain about fluff or lack of content in a free game :P I’m winding down and am getting ready to quit soon, but I got my money’s worth.

I’ve never met a single person who spent over 300g and ended up with no precursor. Just gotta sack up and toss that gold in there – it’s not easy, but imo its much faster than the 600g+ grind.
I’ve tossed in over 300g with 0 precursors. I really should have just saved up, but I mfed in piecemeal whenever I had a bit of extra gold.
It’s the same reason why no one looks at CoF gear as something special to get. It may look cool but it can never have that satisfactory feeling that you get when you achieved something that requires time.
CoF gear has been overdone since like day 2 of the game, but holiday skins (and yes, I’m including this whole month/event as a holiday) seem to fade out. You may see a bunch of SAB ones this month, but give it a month or two and I doubt you’ll see that many.
My thief is still rocking his toy gun/dagger/slingshot, but I can’t remember the last time I saw someone with a princess wand, candy cane hammer, or chainsaw gs. If you like the skin, you’ll just keep using it. Why does it matter if it takes you a few more days to get it?
Sorry, I probably should have quoted some of the responses in this thread that more of less said they want to feel special, it wasn’t directed totally at you. Also no, seeing a legendary doesn’t always mean someone put time or effort into it, since you can just buy them off of the tp.
There’s already been a few threads stating that anet hates alts in the general forums (WvW Ranks/Laurels). Why limit it to one run a day, even when you have 4+ alts? Or do you mean you’re against level 2’s getting the reward?
None of you are special snowflakes. All you’re wanting is higher tp prices :P I don’t think more of someone because they have a legendary or a hard to obtain skin.
You can buy them off of the tp, “farming” them on multiple characters really doesn’t matter after that. I personally want about 12 of the skins total across all of my characters.
If you’re having fun unlocking achievements or exploring, how fast others obtain the skins shouldn’t matter to you.
I believe they have nerfed the drop chance of these from chests atleast in JPs. 1 or 2 days ago id get them around 3/4 times, today ive done 5-6 and gotten a single one. Theres been some small updates so they might have snuck it in.
Exactly what I thought. They think players won’t notice stuff like that, but we ALWAYS do, even the most minute changes, we feel them.
My thief drops pseudo caltrops and gains vigor every time I “dodge”. So I do it more than is needed :P But I’d suggest you start trying/testing dodge now, before you’re 80.
My guardian can be lazy and forget to dodge a lot, so I’d suggest rolling something squishier to get used to the mechanic lol.

Why is it that Mag is the such a pain when it comes to the jumping puzzle. They are such chickens***s its not even funny.
Every server does it. There’s just more Mags, so you might see them doing it more often.
