I fear, people highly underestimate the potential effect of ESO on GW2.

The reason there will be no big content updates in April is probably, that everyone at ANet is going to play ESO to learn at least from AvA.

OR!!!! They could play gw1 to learn something about game developement.

Seriously my expections are so low, not even a piece of paper would get through.

I really don’t know how long I am going to play gw2 more, i play since beta and im pretty finished with the whole game (pve / wvw / pvp) and over the past ~ 5 Months i just grind dungeons and do “living story” so yeah i would 100% buy an expension just to see some new content (living story is no content for me).

But if they are not going to release some good new features or classes or precurser crafting or skills or….. I probably going to play another game but not ESO or Wildstar they are both crap, probably some Reaper of souls maybe? I’m not sure but we will see.

Overall GW2 is a good game (if you dont compare it with gw1), but after so much time players need an expension like in gw1 with tons of new dungeons, map, classes, skills and SOOO much more.

Yeh had a bit to QQ but thats just because there is so much unused potential in gw2 that makes me sad :/

To me the only thing that keep me playing “living story” are the ap and the sometimes good skins to earn in the meta achievement like dragon bash back was really good and the flower from the bloodtide coast.

But like 80% of all the skins that has been released from living story start until the end is trash. (They even kittened up the tormented weapons from gw1 LOL how hard is it to just copy paste a weapon from the original game?)

I would rate 0/10 but since i get my achievement points and a few good skins I rated 4/10 other reasons to play that content are not existing standing around bosses and press 1 for 10 minutes doesnt seem like a revolutionary gameplay mechanic to me.

These quests are saying:
If you are not using berserker gear, go home.

If you play pve without full zerk gear you SHOULD go home really pve content is so easy thats why everyone runs full zerk and if you are a movement cripple try to press [V] randomly LOL

No, but seriously what armor are you using for pve then? theres no sense of other armor because why you need to be tanky if you can kill the boss just in a few seconds.

GW2 Pve is all about zerk gear if ppl dont get this then im not sorry for them.

If you like condi builds and wvw i would probably go for necro hes imo really good for pvp and wvw is like pvp and his condi builds are very effective for single target or even multiple targets so you can zerg or roam alone.

Man if i put in 4 asurans in mystic forge and all I get is trash like quaggan or some mutaded bird (also called tengu) but you getting a norn man… you are kitten lucky!

Since my last trys of throwing in asuras into the toilet i just rather salvage them even if they give just 1-2 slab of red meat and bone chips but better as nothing…

Seriously if you play lvl 44 I think your not new to gw2 so you know the broken rng system in this game so why complain?

Sounds fair to me.

You forgot, that after it drops it is souldbound to 1 of your characters (if you have lets say 10 chars so theres the chance that it is soulbound to one of them) and after it drops you have only 5 minutes to get it with the specific character.
And lets not forget, that this item takes 70 inventory slots for no reason!

Now it sound fair for me.

First of welcome to gw2!

I for myself played 3 years gw1 and play since beta gw2 and if you are looking for gw1 with better graphic then gw2 is NOT the game you are looking for.

Why?

- Skill system compared to gw1 is just a bad joke.
- Combat System is more action based as you probably recognized.
- No big group instances 5 players is maximum.
- No special item you can unlock by doing special dungeons quests etc.
- Pvp and pve are not good balanced in terms of skills

etc.

I will say it loud and clear for you. GW2 is a total different game it has nothing to do with gw1 (except lore but most ppl dont care about lore i gues) If you want to play it you have to accept that this game has almost nothing do to with gw1 it is an other game with only the same name.

So still i wish you good luck with gw2 and or maybe better luck with gw1 :P

Pretty easy

After release there was a bug, where you could collect those heirlooms on overflow servers multiple time and gues what a lot of ppl abused this bug and some even got it their 250 heirlooms on the same day or on the 2nd day….

Apperently this bug is now fixed and the rest of guild wars that hasnt had the chance to abuse this bug now has to farm day for day for day….

And ye the halo on asura really is way to tiny imo but probably gets fixed? Dunno i also hope they give you another method to farm this heirlooms because I need more than just 1 of this potions and i cant farm in this 2 weeks enough for 3 or 4 characters….

So you can fight while the halo is activated?

no the living story patches are always very good i like them except uum all? i dont really know why i am waiting for this patch though.

Maybe its because i hope every patch that anet realise what they did wrong with the game and start pushing it in the right way but i think for that patch im gonna have to wait my whole life long… :/

Yeh a pvp skin locker would be cool but wheres the gem profit with bank / bag slots then?

WvW Necro.
Why? Well just equip staff use bigger sign trait and inflict enemy zerg with lots of conditions also you are hard to kill when in big zerg fight (F1).

I personally dont play necro in pve just for wvw / pvp because he`s good at it.

Pve Ele!
Well ele with daggers is imo one of the best classes in game he does insane dmg and if played well almost unkillable. The same goes for spvp.
For wvw ele is ok i do not play much ele in wvw rather necro but i think with staff you could do some nice aoe in enemy zerg or something but not the best in wvw i gues.

If you want to play just one of the classes i would go for ele because he`s imo one of the best classes in game (insane dmg and even if you go full zerk your still hard to kill)

Maybe hes not the best in wvw but thats why he´s epic in pve.
Necro is the same just hes very good in wvw and not the best in pve.

But still I would recommend ele ^^

- Guild Halls / more usefull guild system and especially CAPES!
- Expansion:
– New Class (Dervish / Ritu)
– New skills (and i mean really new skills (heal skills doesnt count!))
– New races

To name a few really urgent things that the community needs.

I am a 100% sure that we will get nothing at all that I mentioned and this makes me sad i really hope that I am wrong but it will not happen I dont know why maybe its like D3 was first a big beta too and now after a few years (ROS update the game gets finally pushed in the right way but the way to it was pretty hard) so i hope the same for gw2.

Ok here my feedback to commanders

First of all for some ppl are 100g much work and for others its 1 week farming or even less so anet should make the way to obtain the title commander like something special, maybe collect XX achievement points or have at least 100% world or something like that i dunno and its not my job to think for them :P

And since the champion update you see on 3 maps commanders (queensdale, frostgorge sound and of corse orr) i farmed on all of this 3 maps with commanders.

So on queensdale and frostgorge sound ppl are “stealing” the main zerg often champions (not often but happens maybe 20% of the time) Some ppl annoys it but i dont care much.

Few days later i started farming on cursed shore and THIS was way beyond friendly or good leading commanders! Half of the zerg followed commander the other half “stole” the champion that would come next everyone flamed and much more.

It was annoying after a few rounds so i thought maybe on other servers its better (im playing on medium population server, so I switched to high population server) and holy kitten there was 5 commanders everyone did something else some ppl turned the lamp on in the same zerg (2 commanders 1 zerg) others totally mislead the zerg just to stoped the main zerg from farming and if you told them to turn off the lamp or dont fool the players that are new to this farmingroute you got a really “nice” answer.

So overall I like commanders in wvw theres nothing to complain its very usefull and i have never seen a trolling commander or without experience in wvw.

pve commanders…. i would say its 50/50 half of pve commanders are good the other half is trash.

Exactly! I play guild wars 2 since its release and enjoy playing but I was never really excited if i get loot or an achievement but this fight was epic!!!
After many try & fails I finally defeated her and my first reaction was to jump of my chair and yelling loud YES!! I never had such an reaction in an game ever so anet did a great job in my opinion

This was the first time in a game ever i was happy to achieved something and it is a good feeling!

I know the fight is tough but you just have to keep trying and for players like me, that tryed so hard to get this minipet its a slap in the face if anet is going to make it easier and if you still can’t beat her who the f cares that much about a minipet.

Yes im for more emotes too, but not just more i just want all the emotes of guild wars back!

I give you some numbers:

gw2 has at the moment just 19 emotes (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Emote)

gw1 has more than 50! (http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Emotes)

so gw has more than 100% emotes as gw2!

I know gw2 is not as long released as gw1 but i dont see a chance, that they are planning to create more emotes for us.
I hope that on the next expansion pack we get more emotes too but im pretty sure they have more important to do than create emotes for us :/
