Either you make your dungeon a full blown speedrun, and intentionally design it for that purpose. Or you prevent this sort of skipping, and create a fun, rewarding dungeon crawling experience, where not the only reward is at the end. You spread out the fun and the rewards, so the entire experience feels rewarding.

Why can’t both coexist? In most game I played, I try to 100% complete it. But why can’t a speed runner be able to well speed run it? I have fun watching speed run too.

Same with GW2, but then I participle in both. I try to complete everything I can, in most if not all dungeon, I did full clear run. But now I only do speed run because that’s what I prefer to do. Why one side need to win, why can different people complete the same content their own way and all have fun doing it? Why do people need everybody to complete the content like they prefer?

And tbh I don’t mind if they change dungeon to limit a bit of skipping. But it depend on how they do it. Plenty of mobs are killed by most group even if they are optional. Why? Because they are fun fight or give a good reward. That’s the way to do it, positive reinforcement. Hey you can skip those mobs, but you won’t gonna get that reward. I preferred the older dungeon reward system where mobs were dropping silvers and at the end we only got the 26 silver chest with no 1 gold bonus chest. You wanted to kill mobs to get the most reward, but you could speed run through it if you wanted. They changed it because ppl were farming the mobs, but they could give a diminishing reward on the money these mob give, it’s just way easier to remove it all and give 1 bonus chest at the end.

The problem, is that most people that complain about skipping propose negative reinforcement. They want a infinite leash or put additional door that won’t open before you kill everything or stuff like that. They don’t see that as negative because they like to full clear anyway. But when fight give you nothing and are not fun, it’s not a good idea to force people to do those fight.

CoE corner stacking for Subject alpha is more about the dodge. For pugs, it’s easier to dodge in the corner and not all over the place. That way you can revive someone and it give an additional dodge for Staff Ele and GS Warrior.

You can stack while walling, but you don’t need to.

Honestly all those behaviors are symptoms of a larger problem. The dungeon level design is glitchy enough that people actually can trap monsters against walls, under rocks, one floor above or below… Etc…

Clearer and more robust path finding programming, along with less glitchy level designs would prevent a lot of that stuff from happening. When it comes to “is it really a valid strategy or not? Is it truly fair and in the spirit of gaming?”

Just answer these question: “If that monster was real, would it keep running face first into that wall trying to get me? And if our party was really here, could five of us for in that time 2×3 box?”

I agree totally with the glitch thing. But you don’t seem to talk about glitch. You seem to talk about Walling, LOSing and Stacking in general. You seem to don’t like that even when we don’t glitch mobs. (Which seriously happen not that often).

I’ll answer your questions. It that monster was real, not it would not face first into the wall trying to get me. And you know what. Most of the dungeon community would prefer monster that don’t act like that. We prefer fight like lupi (with no walling), mai trin and liadri and we want more of that and less AC easy fight.

No we couldn’t fit all in a small box. And again, good dungeon runner almost never do that. It’s pug that want an easy, but no optimal strategy that do that. (with some specific exception).

Well it ensure all the AoE circles have the same central point and outward radius. That causes maximum damage output in the smallest area.

I can center my Meteor shower from 1200 range away and it will do the same dmg. Stacking won’t help that at all.

You heard that stacking increase damage. That’s because a Meteor shower for exemple will do some weird thing on a wall and concentrate their AoE in a smaller area. That’s the wall, not stacking that do that.

The entire act of merging bodies Into one cohesive entity. Being close by each other is one thing, but actually being inside each other is taking things to the extreme when it comes to min/maxing AoE damage

You mean auto-run? Option / Control options / movement, it’s the 8th key bind, just after dodge.

I only see stacking in pugs. In my run I stack maybe 5-10 times in dungeon, and it’s the same for most good dungeon runners.

So what are you asking from Anet exactly?

Please Anet program into the dungeons AI behavior that discourages stacking.
( apparently there’s a leet speak acronym for people all standing In the exact same spot so that the character models clip into each other.) but to make it clear for so e who didn’t understand the point I was making.

Ok here my question.

- Do you mean stacking on top of each other specifically or do you mean discourage a group of 5 people meleing the boss close to each other?

- If you mean stacking specifically the AI have nothing to do with this. You would need to make walking through enemies and friend impossible. I could understand that. Anyway, any decent dungeon runner do almost no stacking so it would only affect pugs that don’t know any better. It could create some issue of people blocking each other, but i don’t think it’s a big problem.

Although Im starting to sense that
Many of the arguments being made against me are simply, “Stop talking, I like the dungeons the way they are, and you have no right to make suggestions or gripe.”

Then they follow up with, “Go in with your own group and get the heck off this forum!”

The problem here is that there is now three subjects, people use bad terminology and people confuse who answer to who.

- There is people that talk about stacking, people that talk about LOSING and you that try to get your ‘’Dungeon are easy, we need to change it’’ into every single tread lately.

- A lot of ppl try to complate about LOSING or Corner stacking, but they use the term stacking which is totally different. That just point out how they don’t know what they are talking about and confuse people because everybody is not talking about the same thing.

Like I said, try to follow the discussion and not change the subject in the middle of nowhere and then confuse our response. You did that on several tread already.

The question was ‘’Is stacking a good thing?’’ and we answered yes it’s a good thing, it’s should stay like it is. You can create your own LFG if you don’t like it.

And you take it as we answered that about your question ‘’Dungeon need to be updated’’. You confuse the two and you did the same with the tread about min-maxing.

There are not the same question dude. We like how build and gameplay work in this game, but most people here want more challenging and difficult content and dungeon. Nobody said no about better AI. You really need to create your own Tread about it man and stop talking about the same stuff in every tread about something else.

Just look at this stuff! THIS is what GW2 needs. This is what I call build options:
_(Keep in mind, you can choose from all 4 of these trees at the same time, and you can also multi-class!)

I never played at this game specifically, but I always hated this kind of tree. If they could keep the current system of trait, merge revamp them like they do, add more good option and removed stats from trait, I would be so happy. But I guess that every single player in the game have their own version of what is better.

1) Bugs : I kind of agree with you. But I don’t see much difference between GW2 an other MMO. Maybe it’s just me that got used to it, I’m not sure. But anyway, overall the main problem is a lot of small bugs, that doesn’t affect the game much. But, still I agree. A lot of very old bug are still in the game.

2) Toxic community : You say that PvP is worst, but PvE player will say that dungeon community is worst. That’s a personal opinion base on your own experience. Personally, I mostly have a good experience in PvE, PvP and WvW.

3) Content :FFIV have a monthly fee last time I checked (I don’t know if they removed it recently), but gw2 never and will never had a monthly fee. You need money to have the resources to create more content. You can ask the same amount of content from a B2P MMO than you received from a monthly fee MMO, that just doesn’t even make sense. If you prefer to pay and get more content, then it’s a fair point. I would love to pay a monthly fee and get more content for GW2 but that’s just not the model and frankly I would probably not be here today if there was a monthly fee. I left the game twice (I don’t play much during summer) and the fact that I could get back in the game when I want without paying a fee is a big reason why I got back into it.

4) PvP Leaderboard ; They need transparency about the ranking because it’s so dark and unkown that its purpose kind of get lost on players. But at least we know some stuff. First, it’s not based on the number of game you played, the 14th have 667 games played and the 15th have 1069 games played. But of course only ppl that play on a regular basis in PvP will be good enough to be high on the leaderboard. And second, it’s not at all based directly on the % of victory of your team. The leaderboard rate players not team, so it make no sense to hurt the ranking of a good player that get into bad team. Seriously they could just remove the win/loss ratio, since it doesn’t affect much the ranking. Obviously it trouble some ppl. But again, like I said, more transparency about how the ranking work would be nice.

5) Release date : Pure speculation. You are not alone to don’t the policy of Anet about information. But it’s clear from more than 1 year now. They stopped giving information in advance, they gonna give us the minimum possible, the closer possible to release.

6) Trinity : AAAAAAAAAAH. Sorry I just had a nightmare about someone wanting Holy Trinity in GW2. So what were you talking about again? Oh right. Pass.

7) True, but i’m not sure about the relation with non-subscription MMO.

Asking for better AI coding isn’t asking to be similar to other games, it’s asking to raise the standard in order to match those games.

Do you think you are special and the first to think about that? You are in the dungeon subforum. Most people here solo dungeon for the last year, some even 2 years. We ask for more challenging content for a long long time, with more developed idea than : oh Anet just have to give better AI coding.

Not using good food and potion will drop full Berserker of course also from 100% to 90%.

In the end the gear itself is much less of a factor than people always make it sound
in the forums. The correct traits and stacking of might vuln and so on are much
more important. .

I know. That’s why I said that Knight or celestial gear isn’t a big deal, but you need to put more attention to the other stuff because you already put yourself behind other in term of dps. Usually, people that play full knight or stuff like don’t have a good range of potions and foods, don’t really try to max their might, fury, vulnerability, etc. and tend to use defensive build. It’s a lot of little factor that put together make a big difference.

The game was always f2p, nothing changed.

You go on the forums for 3 main reasons.
- Talk about stuff you dislike
- Ask question/help people by answering that question
- Community discussion about what is to come, what is best, etc.

So of course, when you read a forums you gonna have a hard time see people talk about how awesome the game is. They gonna talk about that is wrong, but that doesn’t mean that they dislike the game. People care enough about the game to go on the forums and talk about the issues they think the game have.

GW2 isn’t a perfect game and like most MMO it change over time. And not everybody like the changes. Anet did some mistakes and will continue to do so, but they still created a solid game that is worth playing in my opinion.

If I had to start all over? I’m not sure. If I lose everything I have on my account I would be so kitten off, I probably wouldn’t be playing for a long time. But I think I would be back for the expansion.

Funny how Medi Guard was suboptimal from launch, criticized for intolerably long burst CDs, and while there was one change (Renewed Focus), circumstances made it into a scary counter-meta hero.
It’s just that the match-up versus the Medi Guard became easier for it to fight, is all. A friend has played Medi Guard from launch (2 months into the game he invented 21614); he notices that with Cele running rampant, Medi Guard has just enough control, defenses, and burst damage to overcome Cele builds’ sustain. The emphasis on more 1-on-1 showdowns also helps its survivability, because Guards can’t really run. They have to win it.
To add, Medi Guard is a fairly acquired taste, and you don’t really see many people run around with a Zerker Guard (for mental health reasons) – that is why you think they have too much burst when you get hit with basically all of the Medi Guard’s skills and lose a big chunk of health. You’ll think different when you fight them more.

Here some reason why Medi Guardian more popular over time :
- Glacial Heart got additional damage in the end of 2013 and in 2014 the cooldown was reduce to 15sec. I don’t remember the old cooldown, but it was horribly long.
- Renewed focus became a meditation in 2014
- The power ranger became so popular in the end of 2014, early 2015. You could see them everywhere. And the Medi Guardian is one of the best counter to a power ranger. Nothing changed since september 2014, but this popularized the Medi Guardian build.
- At the same time, bunker guardian was less and less valuable. Brawler were already taking his job with more versatility to do something else in a game than just stay alive and support your ally. With Bunker build less and less popular, of course people gonne go toward a new build.

So really, meditation guardian before september 2014 were ok, but not dominant enough to be as popular as it is now.

It will work (everything can work in PvE). But you will take a very long time to kill stuff. Just don’t go into dungeon/fractal unless you specified ‘’everybody welcome’’.

WvW roaming : Rabid is kind of king there. Celestial is pretty good, but I still prefer Rabid for roaming. You have space and your goal is to kill, so kitting while you condition make the job is the best option in my opinion. Also, the open field make it hard to use the rifle combo at its best.

sPvP : The nature of the fight make celestial better than rabid. You won’t be alone and the fight are close quarter so your rifle will hit like a truck and the additional cc from it will be super useful to keep people off the point (something you don’t need in WvW).

PvE : Assassin/Zerker for obvious reason. Celestial will make you lose a big chunk of your damage, but if everything else is right the difference is not that bad if you really only want one gear. Rabid is an horrible choice for PvE, but who knows, maybe after the expansion is will be more viable. (or not)

Using full Knight will give you 72% of the dps of full beserker. Using knight armor with beserker trinket and weapons will give you 92% of the dps of a full beserker.

That’s not too bad by itself. The problem is that usually people using that kind of gear don’t really worry about optimizing other stuff. Not using good food and potion will drop full knigth from 72% to 62%. Not have the right sigils will drop your dps to 54%. Not have a good build, weapons and rotation will drop it even more.

Remember that a non-PS build scores a bonus ~13% damage bonus from Heightened Focus in Discipline now thanks to a 25% uptime of Quickness once the enemy goes under 50% HP and picks up Destruction of the Empowered, which scales really well in certain encounters.

Heightened Focus will never give you 13% damage bonus. It’s the theoretical maximum, but it will almost never happen. I guess between 5 and 10% during group fight, but against a boss it will be a really small advantage.

Destruction of the Empowered scale a bit with some very specific encounters. Not much mobs have boons, and usually you want to remove boons from mobs that do have them. Yes for a second warrior it will be good option, but never for the first warrior of a party.

Ideally, I would like them to make a fix equivalence between stats and boons/condition duration a bit like they did with ferocity so that way we can get those from gear fairly.

dual-wielding having a 15% attack speed boost ( and 5% damage boost) means foregoing a lot of dps while autoing though.

And? Those buff are already in the game, what changed? Yup ok, now it’s 15% attack speed compare to the current 10% attack speed. But what is different now, that would make Axe more competitive against GS? You know what is different? GS can now have max dps AND phalanx/EA support in one build.

As I see, we have 700 points in primary attributes and class mechanic.
Each primary attribute gets boosted to 1k (so +74 points), and the class mechanics gets what we could take as another 150 points. This leaves 254 points that will be reallocated in gear.

We don’t know what’s going to happen with secondary attributes.
I wouldn’t expect to see those 700 points rolled into gear, and definitely we won’t get a 74 point default attribute.
We might get a 100 default attribute (which would leave another 200 points for gear), or even all those points completely removed, with or without compensation through gear.

Jesus why everybody make the same mistake everytime. Each line give you two stats, in total you get 1400 pts from trait line, not 700.

I’d still say gs + axe/mace. even with PS ( should be able to maintain might with a str sigil on the axe/mace set fairly well).

I see there being room for an axe/axe + axe/mace dps option also ( certainly true if when you have 2 wars in a pug group).

Distracting strikes + tremor could be very nice for short fights with trash mobs.

New berserkers power encouraging rather than hindering burst skill use is nice too.

Other than that I’d have to agree with the comments about lack of useful traits for pve in a few slots.

Right now GS camping is higher dps than GS + Axe/Mace, but the additional vulnerability of the second make it better overall. Without Fast Hands, that difference in dps is getting bigger and bigger. Especially since now you also gonna have to sacrifice damage modifier sigil for a sigil of strength.

Ya you will be able to use GS – Axe/Mace, but pure GS build will be far superior.

Distracting strikes + tremor : Ya I suppose that it could in theory give you 25 stack of might at the beginning of a fight if you are really lucky (most likely that you will interrupt only between zero and 2 mobs, not 5). But then you would have to sacrifice berserker power. That’s insane.

The new berserker power fix a problem that exist since the launch of the game so it’s nice. But the greastsword F1 is still kitten in dungeon. It would be a nice addition if GS + Axe/Mace would still be the meta, but with the new trait it will impact PvP way more than PvE.

Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know that I’m sending my first report based on this information tonight. After I get that out, I’ll want to shift the discussion to the other four professions we haven’t reviewed much yet:

  1. Thief
  2. Warrior
  3. Engineer
  4. Ranger

Thief
I don’t have much to say about thief for PvE. Change are small and don’t screw up the meta much. Some change are a little bit annoying, but not game breaking.
- Critical Strikes Grandmaster is lacking. Hidden Killer is pretty useless since we already are near if not at 100% critical chance for a PvE Meta thief. The other options are about pistol (forget about it) and a healing trait. Nothing really appealing to the dungeon meta.
- We have SA as a good third line for better stealth (ok), we have Acro as a good third line for survival (ok), but Trickery is pretty bad as third line for dps, as it work right now. Flaking strike is a huge gamble, not sure is worth the risk since you don’t control when it gonna trigger. And any of the grandmaster trait are worth using for Dungeon meta. Essentially, we gonna take Trickery as a third line only for the grandmaster minor, which is kind of sad.

Warrior
- It’s generalize to pretty much most the lines. I can’t find a trait line where you can choice three major trait that help toward the Dungeon meta. In Strenght it’s the adept that is lacking, while master is only about GS (even if that same line give a axe grandmaster trait). In Arms the adept trait have the same problem. In discipline you have none, Destructing of the Empowered and Burst Mastery don’t work very well in Dungeons. That left us with only tactics that feel complete as you have three major that work with the Dungeon meta.
- Warrior was never a champion of diversity when it come to dungeon meta. It was always GS + Axe/Mace, but you chould choose between a full dps or phalanx build. But now? It’s gonna be one build to rule them all. And worst is the fact that GS camping will be almost our only option. Warrior already didn’t have the most entertaining rotation, now it’s will be so boring to play warrior in dungeon.

Yup. Whatever they choose to do, they won’t make everybody happy, that’s for sure.

If the give us all our points back, that gonna create a power creep in PvE. But if they don’t ppl will scream that’s a nerf and they lose some stats point.

They should take into account that profession attibute become base and from the trait line. But if they do, build that don’t use it will lose a bit more stats.

Like I said, they won’t make everyone happy whatever they choice to do with that.

It depends on the line. Generally for meta builds its 700. Because you cant redistribute condi duration and boon duration. The exceptions are ele and thief which have 900 direct damage offensive stats in traits just by going 6/6. And im ignoring condition damage because that has little effect on direct damage builds.

Anyway you were talking about 500 points. No idea where you got that number from. The minimum number of stats in a build is 700 if you ignore the odd sub stats like condi duration.

All you need to know is we will lose damage unless they overcompensate with the gear. Which is unlikely.

No no. Ok i’ll make some point and tell me where you don’t agree.

1) We get a total of 1400 stats pts from trait line right now.
2) At best (like a Thief 6/6/x) we get 900 offensive stats pts and 500 of other stats.
3) We get 74 base pts in Power, Precision, Vitality and Toughness.
4) That mean of the total 1 400 stats points 296 will be base and 1104 will come from gear.
5) Of these 296 new base stats, 148 will be offensive and 148 will be defensive
6) The remaining 1104 will all come from gear. So if you get full zerker, you will get about 1104 offensive pts of stats.
7) So 1104 offensive pts of stats from gear and 148 offensive pts of stats from base pts equal 1252 offensive pts of stas.
8) So we gonna have 1252 offensive pts of stats but right now at maximum we can get 900. So we gonna have a power creep of 352 offensive points.

Meh, old content is old and generally gets ignored after an expansion hits. After 3 years perfecting playstyles everything is easy anyway. Sure nerf stats, make everything take a whopping 5min longer and realise that doesn’t actually make things harder, just more annoying.

Face it, the only way you’d actually find a real challenge in GW2 at this point are new encounters.

They won’t make dungeon more challenging and nerfing out damage isn’t a good solution. But a power creed isn’t the solution either, it’s worst. Now, not only dungeon won’t be challenging, but mobs will die quickly without needing you to do anything more.

The power creep in this case is more of a new strategies rather than a raw numbers increase. So its less impactful. And it will only really feel like a power creep to organised groups.

Not really. There is the concentration of stats. With stats from trait you couldn’t have max dps stats. At best with a Thief 6/6/x build you had 300 power, precision and ferocity, but that would still leave you with 500 points of stats that are not really usefull in PvE (toughness, vitality, healing power, etc ), or half interesting (condition damage, boons duration, etc). Of these 500pts, 148 will be transformed into vitality and toughness, but the remaining 352pts will be a power creep for zerker build. And that’s the minimum possible. For the standard dps warrior it will be 502 additional direct damage stats.

Well they can drop the banner and still pick it up afterwards!
IB and LH are fine in PvE now, but once they “put them in line with other conjures” they will be as useless to us in PvE as they are in PvP now

Yup. Icebow isn’t too bad, they can nerf it by a good margin and still be useful. As long as it’s higher than Lava Front + Autoattack it will be use as a burst skill, just a less powerful one.

LH on the other hand don’t have much breathing space as it is now. Phalanx Warrior already make LH build less popular, a nerf to LH could kill this kind of build completetly.

LH should stay like it is, while Axe and Shield should be buff or at least changed.

Sounds awesome, but is anyone else pretty worried about the power creep effect with the new trait buffs and now things like this? Eek. (I know I’m a party pooper)

Power creep is normal with MMO expansions though.

Ofc, they’d have to give us new difficult content to keep the challenge even partially alive. :P

It’s maybe normal with MMO expansions, but that doesn’t make power creep a good things. It’s an horrible concept, but most people like it when they see it first and don’t really think about the bad side they will bring with it. It’s like giving junk food to kids. They gonna love eating it, but they gonna get fat and slow pretty quickly.

What do we hear the most about dungeon? It’s easy, zerker meta make it brain dead because stuff die so quicly, etc, etc. How does increasing the power of everyone will make that better?

At this point, I just hope they gonna only give like 50% (or whatever %) of you trait stats back with gear. At least this way, they can balance out the power creep from trait and keep current content relevant.

But for the sake of balance I would gladly let all other classes have access to conjures, just so that they know how it feel to dedicate valuable utility slots to such useless nonsense

I have no problem taking Icebow or lighting hammer with my Ele. But if it,s really a problem, maybe you could talk about it to the Warrior, he have it even worst with the banners.

Phantasm now come from off-hand weapons, this mean that the shield will probably gonna give a new phantasm. Wonder what it will be or if they gonna do something different.

Maybe Mesmer are gonna be good party offensive booster now for Dungeon. More Time Wrap and some alacrity could boost enough the dps of a group to be worth it.

It will be easier when you have better gear, more trait and get better at the game. But the most important part in knowledge of the dungeon. Good knowledge of the mechanics and tactics to use in a specific dungeon will make a huge difference.

The guild dungeon mentor exist to explain dungeon to new players (you can find a post in Dungeon subforum), otherwise you can find a guild where you can find people to explain to you, or ask in LFG, or even look at video and read gw2dungeons.net

Wander do you know this thing called ’’balance’’. You give different strenght and weakness to different profession so they don’t feel exact replica of each other.

To add to the mistake rabidsmiles pointed at already, you also forgot about Engineer and Revenant which don’t have weapon swap.

Elementalist don’t have weapon swap, but they have Attenument to balance that.
Engineer don’t have weapon swap, but they have kits to balance that.
Revenant don’t have weapon swap, but they have Legend to balance that.

What you guys think about Binding Jeopardy? Even with Wrath of Justice (immobilizes) trait is still weak. You could use scepter and hammer to boost up, but is only 3 stacks of vulnerability on 10 seconds.

They should put Blind Exposure instead.

Binding Jeopardy will most likely to be a dead trait as is now.

If they were to up it to 5-6 stacks of vulnerability then it could easily compete with zealous blade

Then it would be better than Zealous blade. It’s fine as it is now, Zealous Blade will be the best choice for a GS build, but most other build will use Binding Jeopardy. If it give 5-6 vulnerability, then all build would use Binding Jeopardy.

Well considering it’s probably never going to happen, not really worth worrying about. But, I’m sure there are ways they can keep the impact down on PVP/WVW.

True. I’m sure they can find way to make Necro interesting in PvE. And it ’’could’’ happen with HoT.

- Make condition a competitive option in term of dps vs direct damage build. Necro is already good at condition damage. With the right gear, no restriction on stack and condition affected with either vulnerability or damage modifier, necro will have a build that is not on the bottom of the dps chart.
- Give him a bit of support and direct damage build. GS could be a great oportunity to give a cleaving weapon with a good auto-attack. Add some blind, vulnerability and weakness in there and you have something to start working with. Maybe not ideal, but it won’t break PvP and WvW and you can then tweak it until Necro reach a decent place in PvE.

They are not op. And it’s not their surviability that would make them OP. But if they got the best dps of the game, then yes they will be OP. To be on top of the dps chart, they would need to receive around 50-60% buff to their damage. Can you imagine a Power Necro in PvP or Necro’s wells in WvW with a 50-60% buff? That would be insane.

No. Thief and Elementalist have a really low survivability (both in PvE and PvP) to reach their top dps. It would be kind of broken if Necro could have both a Top dps and a good survivability (because of their deathshroud).

Thief/Ele have low health, but they have loads of active defense tools. Necro has…deathshroud. We all know how much better avoiding damage is than mitigating it, and necros only option is through mitigation…

Maybe, but Thief and Ele don’t have access to many of those tools when they are build for max damage. What i’m sure is that if they just buff Necro dps to be the best or one of the best, they will be a OP profession. They need to change something else to balance things out.

Other than Glacial Heart, which is pretty much guaranteed due to Sigil of Intelligence, not really. GS doesn’t burst super hard since you have time to avoid the spin. The ridiculous amount of sustain on medi guard with a zerker amulet is the heart of the problem.

Try kiting.

I beat allot of med guards because I know their weakness. They lack spammable chill/cripple/slow.

So aside from a teleport once & a while they have no way to get on target or stay there.

So when you see them swap to ranged and kite.

They lack CC or Mobility. Which give the same result. Medi guardian are great against low mobility enemies or fighting on a point when the enemies can’t get kite you. They have the same role as a Thief, they are killer. But they also complete each other. The Thief have the mobility to chase down low hp enemies, while the medi guardian have the sustain to fight on point.
