tl;dr meaningful character progression is toxic.
Loot and upgrades are intentionally terrible and will probably stay that way because anet can get away with it thanks to the business model. And because of the business model horizontal progression (selling skins) works much better than vertical (selling better gear).

Its an overlay that uses anet’s api. Not bannable.
Make them compete with the buffers because there is plenty of room there instead of the DPS that has less room.
Only druid is “replaceable”.
Last boss is weird. Maybe I missed some hint at the start.
Making him charge at mobs to destroy rocks is kinda weird. Long tooltip about how they have 98% resistance to attacks did not help either.

Elixir should be a mastery or at least an infinite potion. It also feels underused.

Well “too tanky” thing is gone. Did 100 second time and it went a lot faster.

Boons could be punished a lot harder such that building for boons becomes unfavorable, just like building for vulnerability or blind. Then players are left with closer to solo dps and balance becomes easier.
We already have more than enough useless stuff in this game. No need to make more.
The only game related problem I see is that he was allowed to use a boost when he had no level 80 character yet. Why would anet allow that?
Maybe when they will run out of dragons we will see some actual villains. The ones with personalities and goals.
I personally feel…
1- Anet needs to hire more people so they can get more done in every area of the game. This also allows them to pump out those xpacs at a faster rate.
2- Communicate current projects, and what might be in the works, to really jazz up players and improve retention rates.
3- Start offering a lot of cool stuff and conveniences on the gem store so players want, or are more willing, to spend money.
It feels like they are limited by the engine and tools tbh. Hiring more people not gonna help if it is true. Agreed with everything else though.

They are unnecessary to complete the task. Your problem was fixed before raid release during the design process.
That statement will be a valid answer when there are plenty of LFGs for raid pugs without any limitation (not just for training runs). Until then, they’re just sad excuses.
There are plenty of LFGs without any limitations. There are also plenty of guild and group advertisements on reddit and forums.
Where is content then?

They are unnecessary to complete the task. Your problem was fixed before raid release during the design process.
I do have one suggestion on how to actually end this sort of thread, permanently. Any of you guys who are soooooo tired of these threads, Gaile, if you’re out there, listen up, because this is really very simple:
Fix the underlying problem.
Simple as that. Fix the problem, and people will stop complaining about it. Now I know some of you believe that the problem is already fixed, but if that were the case, then people wouldn’t be complaining that there is a problem. Most of us used to think “hey, there aren’t any raids for me to play” was a problem that had been fixed since the beginning of the game and didn’t need any additional fixes, but then things changed, and now we have raiders around, so. . . there’s that.
Clearly people have issues with how things are currently working. Find a solution that genuinely satisfies their concerns in some way. Telling them to shut up will never cause an actual solution. You want them to shut up, create a solution that works for them, not just for you.
They can fix the problem if people will tell what the problem is.
It is literally another “raid thread”. Same “arguments”, same “suggestions”, same people posting the same things. Nothing new has been said and nothing new will be said. This is pretty much a meme at this point.
As cool as it would be to have a different look for each race….I have to agree with Ardid that it probably won’t happen. At least not unless we expect to wait even longer. The amount of time it takes to create an armor of 3 different weights, then ontop of that add animation to it that looks clean, then making that “fit” all different sizes and shapes of the races….thats alot of time on itself. Add ontop of that making it UNIQUE to each individual race then making it fit all different sizes and shapes, that’s so much more work in trying to find ways to tie it into that race’s style. (Then going male/female too)
The amount of work would be LEGENDARY.
Honestly tho I hope this was one of the reason why it was delayed for so long.
Fractals are still the same. Maybe you got rekt by social awkwardness?

Except that for the new weapon you will have to change loot tables and add new recipes and make separate skins for them. Oh and new weapon type will be locked behind only couple of specs so it will be almost useless for a lot of people.
As I said in the MAIN TOPIC!!: You can use the spear skins so that argument of yours is out of the window. The new weapon type will be locked behind some specs.. well guess what bud, some weapons already are locked behind certain specs. Ever seen a necromancer with a rifle? I havent.
The only argument you’re making WORTH CONSIDERING is the loot table and honestly, thats not even that big a deal. Recipes? remember during LS1, and LS2, and HOT, any idea how many recipes they pumped out in that time? If you ask me, thats not that big a deal either.

Does not matter. They can put rifle skills on a greatswords if they want to. Just tested the “2 mesmer new meta” and it just doesnt work as intended. 50% quickness still missing, so probably its better to have another 2 dps classes instead of mesmers.

Fractal blur is alright. Horik unleashing his cannons while Horik is unleashing his cannons or a jade tentacle spawning inside the tunnel in weapon test fractal is pretty fun. Ninja bunny is just amazing.
Social awkwardness used to be “eh” at best and now got upgraded to a minor pain in the kitten .
Have not played with toxic trail yet so I have no opinion.
Flux bomb is pretty kitten good instability. Would be even better if it had an active combat check like social awkwardness insdead of just spawning at random when someone got in combat.

Just allowing players the option to start the fight at any phase would be adequate for a practice mode. This way groups can work on the parts they are weak on without having to go through 5 minutes of other stuff every time, and it also doesn’t require the fight to be modified so it is easier to develop. In terms of practicing for the actual raid fight there is way less utility in fighting against a weakened version of the boss.
Now that’s neat. Would be a great addition to dps golem.
The issue with fractals has nothing to do with difficulty. It has to do with mechanics.
Raid mechanics are very basic. They even put some of them in to an open world and chaos fractal. The only reason why we don’t see more raid mechanics in fractals is because they just started to release their stuff.

Personally, I liked her. But man . . . the amount of hate she got on these forums. She was called everything from cardboard to a poor plot device.
Well like 90% of her character development was done way after her death. I know few people who changed their mind after learning more about her in the second season.
Scarlet was at least somewhat relatable villain. All these evil dragons and some magic flying dudes from outer space feel so meh.

Multiloot is when people jump between successfully completed AB maps and loot all chests.
