Map timers is not “casual unfriendly” it is consumer unfriendly.
Week 9 and I got a grand total of 0 ascended drops 0 infusions anybody else having terrible rng?
Did a full clear. 1 red mini guardian, 1 exotic with strength sigil and 1 Berserker Amulet (level SEVENTY EIGHT). At least mini is not a dupe.

It hasn’t been touched, but it’s heavily dictated by RNG. You just got lucky.
That’s some insane rng then. After fractal reward adjustment I get like 3 times more matrices per ring.
I like bundles. I dislike anet bundles. Shoehorning rng dye boxes and irrelevant weapon skins in to bundles just to inflate the price is kinda meh.
Back in the HoT beta someone found a way to remove the popup.

DS with exp boosters, fireworks, food and all that stuff gives 1m – 1.5m+ per map. If you are fast enough you can even try to push 3 lines at the same time and get even more exp.
Works fine for me. I am in EU.
About 30-50 g for VG depending on how fast and how many slots you can spare.
Per person maybe, can’t see anyone selling a raid spot for 30-50g.. That would mean everybody gets 3-5g each.
Not that bad since you get 4 gold per boss lol.

That’s with double reward bonus. Even with 66% dungeon reward nerf they are still more rewarding than raids.
Actually the people who designed those dungeons left the company, so technically #2 is wrong.
I’m not thanking the people that did them, but the company that hired them.
If a company loses a team responsible for one of its products, it’s their responsibility to find replacements, not throw it into a corner and pretend it never happened.So again.

Nay in it’s current state.
For me it was 61, 75 and 94. Everything else was at least sort of playable.
Just to be precise: They said that the changes to fractals will hit in December. They didn’t say which day during this month. In other words: 31st is still December.
And to be even more accurate: They didn’t mention which time zone. So it’s December until January, 1st HAST.

Well they also did not mention the year. This is a patch for the instanced pve so anything can happen.

No one knows. They tried to make them 2 years ago or so but later abandoned the idea because it is very stupid. And now they want to make them again because why not.
Lets hope that this mysterious December patch will fix everything HoT managed to break.
Legendary fractal backpiece is locked behind fractal leaderboards so I guess they are not in the game yet.

Well you triggered all his traps at the same time and then got hit in the face by gs 2. Combat log is pretty normal.

Took our 5 man group around 50 minutes. ~40 minutes for 1 boss. Canach’s break bar mechanic completely bugged out so we had to brute force it with direct/condition damage.
It does not bugged out. The incredible break bars seem to be part of the extreme mode. We used 3 tornado ele and a chronomancer for timewarps to break his breakbar.
If it is true than it is worst boss design I have ever seen.
@Orpheal Personally I have not noticed anything fancy. Only difference from normal mode is bug-like boss behavior and their toughness/vitality skyrocketing to absurd values. I would recommend to bring some condi damage with you and some condi clensing skills. Lots of confusion and instant 20 stacks of burning are very common.

With how it’s set up, I don’t see this happening. Fortunately, it can easily be done solo.
I get that it can be done solo. This isn’t about beating it though. It’s about a group of friends that really enjoy playing this content together. It’s a good evening for pals on TS playing tower defense and cracking jokes.
They apologized that they messed it up last year and I was hoping that apology was going to lead to them fixing it. If it isn’t going to get fixed, that’s fine. It would be nice to know though. Last year they said everything was going to be exactly the same as 2013 and sadly, that just wasn’t the case.

Recognizing sarcasm is really a lost art.
It is almost impossible with gw2 forum.
Do fractal 50 and your personal level will increase. It’s not a bug.
It’s especially annoying with the colossus (giant), that bows before he leaves (takes a while to get reward there).
Jade Maw is even better. You kill it, grab the chest, all mobs are gone and you just sit there and wait.
If timer running out is your main problem then something is really wrong with party comp or builds. Or mechanics are not that easy after all.
There are no cons really. I saw “people will kick players that do not want to improve” listed as a con in the past. This pretty much sums up the “opposition”.
This is a thread about the zerker meta staying around despite ArenaNet saying they want to limit the viability of zerker gear.
So far there is no possible way to beat the first two bosses without more than half your team in zerker armor. The other half in vipers/sinisters.

Hmm, weird, I was never under the impression that anet has a problem with the “zerker meta” in particular, yet a lot of people seem to think they do. Did I miss something?
1 dev said that “berserker not gonna cut it” few months ago. People heard “trinity is coming to gw2” but in reality it was “direct damage will not be effective everywhere”.
I played BDO on russian servers for few weeks. Reminded me of eve online a bit. Player interaction is very good but general pve is meh. I hope they will adjust cash shop for b2p model.

Will it fix all the gameplay bugs that are complained vastly by the players or it will just only contain raid content?
After enjoying Guild Missions in the last few weeks.
My best guess is, it will mostly contain raid content, include a few bug fixes and introduce a lot of new bugs.So optimistic^^ But yeah, the guild missions have been… Interesting. A whole new level of challenging content when trying to debug the missions to get rewards.
And a challenge to patience waiting for Rush to finish before you’ll get your rewards. Nothing like sitting on your kitten for 15+ minutes.
At least you could sit on your kitten. Half of my guild had to run in circles at the last checkpoint. Our rush should have failed but instead it finished and everyone got their chest. Even people that did not participate.

Have you ever heard of a developer actively dissuading players from playing established and functional content? Its unprecedented, at least to me.

Yes
I got it even after party member got hit by a laser so I have no idea.
Suppression usually only kicks in if you are repeating the same thing over and over, at least in my experience.
Problem with this is that when you are trying to coordinate something you usually end up saying similar things couple of messages in a row. Stuff like “x move to y”, “b move to z”, “z needs help, x move to z” gets suppressed very quickly but if someone decides to discuss a sex life of someone’s mother it gets through all filters and can continue for hours even if reported.
Why do’t you just write down on a piece of paper that you got the achievement.
Will it give me 1 core game mastery point, 5 AP and a random gold fractal weapon skin? Sounds like an easy workaround.
