So i’ve posted on the WvW thread but figure this is a more apt place to advertise! I’ve taken it upon myself to improve numbers in Gandara and in particular advertise for players that play in non-GMT timezones.
We’re primarily a PvE server and have a great mix of English speaking players whether they’re from the UK, Germany or further afield. During GMT hours the server is frequented by a fair few players. The atmosphere is fun and buoyant and I really do enjoy being part of it. One other thing we also do well is WvW but we do have a little bit of an issue and this is the primary reason why I am advertising here. We lack a night team.
During the day we can hold our own. We have a decent number of participants and can challenge with the best of servers. Communication is good, commanders dotted around here and there, generally we do pretty well. Then it starts to get dark and our members start to get sleepy. We lose numbers as people go to sleep and eventually we are outnumbered two to one, maybe more if the other two servers join forces (like what has happened with two French recently). We lack a night team, the opposition do not and we lose what we’ve gained during the day. Its been this way for a while so the time has come to change this!
I call on all Guilds to consider joining this great server. This isnt only a shout out to the US/Oceanic timezones however, everyone is invited to come join Gandara. We have the potential to be something special and need your help to make this happen whether its in WvW or PvE.

Well put guys. The issue of nightcapping is a depressing but all too real story and its not something that is going to go away soon. Gandara could be a very strong server indeed if we had a night team so if there are any guilds or individuals who would like to come and experience what Gandara offers come over and check the server out. Even if its for a limited time, at least you can take in our philosophy and culture before you head to another server!

The misconception is in interpreting what ‘gap’ actually means- its a gap in effort/time/finances, not strength.

Im a female Sylvari warrior and I look pretty kitten cool if I do say so myself! I have my lighter DPS gear that looks tough but flexible and I have a set thats a lot more chunky for my ‘tanky’ set. Sure wearing the huge armour pieces like those spikey shoulders is ridiculous but Ive chosen the armour pieces to compliment my character, not the other way around.

Over the next few weeks London Games Festival will be auctioning concept art and sketches from a variety of games including ‘signed’ copies of some of the loading screens of GW2. All money raised will be going to a charity called SpecialEffect who help the disabled have a better quality of life through games, art and technology.

Have any of you NA’s thought about coming over the pond to an EU server? Say… Gandara maybe? We’re requiring a night team for WvW and youd pretty much have the run of the place while we’re all sleeping! 24 hour server sounds pretty tasty to me and im sure we’d rocket up the WvW rankings with a decent night team. Our day team are pretty good but everything gets taken back at night.
Yes, this is a blatant advertisement for Gandara

I dislike Trahearne because he repeatedly takes credit for things he didn’t do.
Trahearne: The priory has a ritual that we think could cleanse Orr. (http://i.imgur.com/ufHiZ.jpg)
Next stage…
Trahearne: I have created a ritual that might cleanse the dragon’s corruption. (http://i.imgur.com/RQx4M.jpg)
To me this reads as the Priory has a ritual that him and the priory members think could cleanse Orr. It needed refining so he took that job and now has a more powerful ritual definitely able to cleanse Orr.

There is no ‘best’ weapon, it all depends on preference, situation, your skills and your traits.
I use axe+axe for PvE, axe+shield for dungeons, rifle for WvW and axe+warhorn for running away in WvW! Many will say GS is best for PvP but I cant speak on that topic as ive never been.

I thought he was a pretty well thought out character myself. He’s a gentle guy thrust into the hot-seat and although he could come across as timid he knows what needs to be done and isnt afraid to help out. I liked his character progression and im sorry but I liked the voice acting as well. I think the main reason why the acting is seen by some as poor is because its not showy and bold. He isnt that kind of character…. Sylvari’s are a gentle but smart race and im not just saying that because I have leaf-tinted glasses on! To me it felt as though he knew what he was doing every step of the way and it was down to you to do the showy things. He isnt the typical main character and I felt I could connect with more because of this fact. I dont know…maybe you have to be a Sylvari to fully understand him.
One more mention- I was happy to hand the sword over to him. Then it started to grow on me…. now I demand that he gives it back to me!

What Gandara lacks in WvW it makes up for in personality and PvE so its not about stealing from other servers, its about inviting people to experience life with Gandara. This server in my opinion has something special but it does lack a nightshift. French servers have their nightshift with French-Canadians joining the fight. We have a few hardcore players struggling to keep what has been won during the day.
So yeh, would be great to have some dayshifters, would be greater to have some nightshifters but overall it would be great to see this server full to the brim with fun people. If youre unhappy with your current server come join us!

Oh and call me silly but why should server numbers affect WvW so much? Surely that is just encouraging players to jump ship if their server is not very populated, furthering the decline.
Retired and living in a shack. Relaxing!
Ok so im not hugely experienced in WvW but I know enough to see that Gandara have a bit of an issue. You see we are a peaceful folk, instead seeming to enjoy hitting animals and zombies on the head rather than nasty invader people. Roughly translated- we seem to be more of a PvE server and lack the numbers for a decent WvW campaign. We arent shockingly bad and do pretty well with the small numbers we have but we’re one of those yo-yo servers that comes bottom of the pile one week and then does pretty well the next week when we’re moved down to gain promotion again. This in itself is frustrating but I cant complain too much as half the time we’re kicking kitten The following however is an issue…
So in case you dont know us Brits have a friendly rivalry with the French. No idea how it come about but we joke that we hate them and they joke that they hate us. The issue is that we keep popping back up the rankings to meet two French teams. Naturally they work together to crush us Brits in a 2 on 1 offensive and down we go again. The amount of times we’ve faced them is crazy and with our already low numbers we stand no chance.
So why am I posting? It isnt to call for ANET to change the rankings, its a shout to any guild that may want to change servers to come to Gandara. We’re resilient but lack the numbers for a sustained push in WvW. A major plus side is that the longest ive ever waited in queue was 30 minutes and that was a month ago.
Gandara might be classed as a UK server but there are many nationalities here so dont fret if you arent from around these parts, all are welcome. This server has the potential to be awesome with your help so come join us and kick some French butt! (actually…French are welcome here too. Be a better French person and join us too!)

20/10/0/30/10 build for my Axe+Shield/Axe+Axe Warrior. Based on the fact my adrenaline is always max. 300 in toughness allows for three defensive traits to compliment my high DPS. 47%(Ber) or 42%(Kni) + 20% crit chance (constant Fury) with traits and sigils taking advantage of this.
PvE set- Berserker with Eagle runes. Maximises DPS and crit.
Dungeon set- Knight with Divinity runes. Replaces crit damage with toughness but the runes bring back crit damage (at the expense of a few points in minor stats and 5% dmg vs <50%HP)
Im still a little squishy but warriors have a lot of dot removal and survival skills should we get in trouble.

1: Whats the issue with logging out or going ‘Into the Mists’? Perfectly safe options if you dont want to die. Also ive very rarely been killed next to a warp between maps.
2: Only intelligent beings (all current races) know what a road even is! You think wild dogs irl know what tarmac is?
3: Waypoints are occasionally contested during chain events. I like this idea. If this was irl and warps existed do you think the enemy would let you teleport in at will?
4: Dungeons? Farming?
5: Dont know what you mean.
6: I maxed crafting and got a full exotic set (non-dungeon) without doing a single hours grind. There’s many ways of earning gold without grinding or spending $.
7: I mass ‘grinded’ TA for a few parts, SE for some other parts, im doing AC and CM for a part or two and ive a couple of parts from CoE. Who says you have to get full sets? Be original, mix and match.
8: This is down to your build and is therefore your fault. My warrior is a little squidgy and I go down every now and then but I accept this because I want to be slightly more DPS. But I have lots of defensive capabilities, can switch to a shield or another armour set if I want more defense and use skills such as Shake It Off to control dots. If youre struggling, rebuild.
9: Every dungeon I do is currently do-able on all paths. Never been Arah though so cant speak for that.
10: Bots are an issue all MMOs have to deal with and because GW2 is so popular its had to deal with a lot of bots. Be patient and trust in the powers that be to deal with the issue as soon as they are able.
11: a) Ascended armour b) looks are cool. I have a unique looking character and thats what matters. Why is everyone so focused with being the best in GW2? Its all about skill.
12: Again if youre struggling, rebuild. Use more control skills and dot-removal.
13: Cant speak as ive never played thief.
14: The support tickets work on a first come first served and urgency basis. There are thousands of tickets going in weekly so be patient and itll get answered.
15: FINALLY we agree on something! LFG should be implemented. Global chat however should not and will not due to ease of abuse.

Why is everyone panicking? The time was always going to come where those that are stronger, more dedicated players get rewarded for being that way. Think of this as raising the level cap based on skill alone and you get the idea.
Also, why would the devs make it so that all dungeons apart from the new one give you obsolete gear? Expect either present dungeon rewards to change or the ability to upgrade exotics.
Retired and living in a shack. Relaxing!
Its not asking people to play like me. In my opinion I feel this game lacks a personal touch and from my past MMO experiences I can only conclude that for me its the lack of a need to form a party in PvE other than dungeon runs which are predictable. If you have any suggestions as to how to give players random experiences without needing to form groups be my guests and suggest something. Its just for me while I have enjoyed playing the game I have very few unique tales to tell.
Retired and living in a shack. Relaxing!
A small increase in difficulty (point 1) wouldnt mean those that play at ‘odd times’ would be worse off. Just make it so that certain mobs arent solo’able. That could mean that you need two people or that you need a full party.
My other points may affect the ‘odd time’ people but in the same way that you cant do a dungeon on your own, you cant farm a spot on your own.
Saidor- by that I mean lets all stop pretending Legendaries are anything but a grind. It was more a jokey point than anything. I do agree it needs to be changed so that it isnt a grind to acquire one.
Retired and living in a shack. Relaxing!
Ok so by design the PvE side of GW2 has been created in such a way that players are able to solo in most areas of most maps. I personally think that overall this was a good idea- make all content available to all. I have played upwards of 750 hours (yes I know, no lifer right?!) and have enjoyed every minute so dont get me wrong, what I am about to say is more to do with what I personally think would make the game EVEN MORE enjoyable.
So why have I started this post? Well I used to play an MMORPG called Rohan. I got myself in a guild and we partied up into the max party size which I think was six and set out to go fight. This was needed because no one was able to solo. Over the course of the first month playing we got ourselves into all sorts of scrapes- finding a bit of the map that no one had fought on before (on our server), grinding at this temple with mobs charging in from everywhere, running from giant preying mantis’ that could stun and kill us in a few hits, wandering through this temple and finding a room with a 30ft tall boss with ‘??’ as its level reminiscent of GW2 Harpies then getting owned by it. I was even ‘officially’ classified on the forums as the greatest Ranger ‘lure’ on the server, my job being to pull mobs into a central ‘killing pit’. Our guild pioneered the technique for fast killing and many joined suit.
So what am I getting at? Well Rohan is an inferior game to GW2 however I look back at my first couple of months in GW2 and feel a little cold. Dont get me wrong, ive enjoyed playing the game and will enjoy it for months/years to come. But when I look back all I see is ‘I did this because it was placed in front of me’. I have no unique tale to tell and I think thats due to the fact that I played by myself the majority of the time.
Now the first question asked of me is going to be ‘Why didnt you join an active guild?’ and I understand that this wouldve helped however with all the content being solo’able I didnt need to join an active guild. I didnt need a group and therefore rather than try and party up with complete strangers it was just easier to complete the content on my own. Leaving the player to experience the game as they choose is both a good and bad thing, the negative side being that the majority of people will choose the easier path rather than the most fun.
So after that little moan (and I hope I got my point across) what would I do to rectify the issue?
1)Increase the difficulty of existing maps by a small amount. Going to Cursed Shore feels like more of a chore than a challenge. Drop rates would have to change to cope with this of course. Id also fix the ‘effective level’ on all lower maps- I was looking forward to going to lower maps and fighting until I realised that I could 2-3hit everything.
2) Introduce instanced areas that arent dungeons. This would reduce the population in that area and so create more of a challenge for those inside.
3) (If possible) Randomised dungeons based on tiles. Different each time you go inside.
4) (If possible) Level 80 areas that combine PvE and PvP. Rohan maps were PvP enabled with ‘safe zones’ around the waypoints and certain maps were PvP free. You could create deliberate farming spots (groups of mobs) and watch as parties battle for control of each place. A Rohan example of this was a sprawling monastery with countless rooms and corridors full with mobs. Certain places in certain rooms were best for leveling(farming), others were not and you either fought to the death to gain the spot or went exploring to find an equally as good spot in another room. Thats where we found that 30ft tall Harpy.
5) Embrace the grind! Let’s stop kidding ourselves- you need to grind to obtain a legendary.
6) (Controversial I know!) More Champion and Purple mobs on normal maps, better loot from them. Also more mobs that are similar in size to the Risen Giant.
All of the above points would mean that there is more need to join a group than there is currently but you still wouldnt be required to be in a group to experience the content. It would also mean more random events (experiences) for us players. Being shown the way is fun but not knowing the way (random) is a lot more fun.
Oh and before you go and say ‘Go Play Rohan then…’ theyve ruined the game by making it a lot harder to obtain decent equipment, forcing you to buy from the cash shop. Plus this is just my opinion on what would make GW2 more exciting.
Anyone got anything to add? What would you like to see in the game to make it more exciting? Is it exciting enough already for you?

Wow taking up crafting is the worst and most boring way to level. Its like saying ‘I hate kicking people in the face, i’ll make a sweater instead’.
Advice? If youre done with Metrica go Into the Mists, through the Asura gate to Lions Arch, over to the Asura gate hub and go to another main city. Explore there for a bit, get all the vistas then head out of the portal into the 1-15 areas each main city has.
http://www.guildhead.com/map will show you all the areas and the levels required to kill there. Also dont be afraid to try content that is 2-4 levels above your level. Its challenging but possible.

Every party ive ever been in has been full or near full exotic but I dont ask. I can usually tell if the group is bad or unbalanced from the first few minutes of combat. Dont know why youre bringing in Legendaries though as they have same stats as exotic. I recorded the MK Dungeon with someone who had Kudzu- was an interesting mix of evil pumpkin and flowers!
Anyways back on topic- i’ll give you a shout Runeblade when im dungeoning. I’ve had a strangely busy weekend hence the late reply.
Retired and living in a shack. Relaxing!
Ive already posted about why I think Legendarys are a good thing but not for me. I personally think the majority of the effort needed to get a Legendary is warranted HOWEVER I wouldve done something a little different. A lot of people here are rightly aggrieved that a large amount of time is needed to grind the gold required to purchase the mats (or grinding the mats themselves). So we need a way to reduce the gold cost of pre-legendaries and other mats…and its not too hard to think of one.
A new map(or more!) where you have a unique event chain that rewards you with a random ‘broken’ exotic weapon. This could be some kind of invasion you have to repel or any number of challenges. You could even design multiple challenges and have them picked at random. They should be challenging but far from impossible with a big group and would have to fit into some storyline that makes sense. Also access to this map should be irrespective of how much you play GW2 but should cap the number of attempts. By this I mean you get…lets just call it a token for now… a single token per few days/week/any time period and cannot buy/obtain anymore. You can access the instance when it spawns (although youd need a very regular spawn).
So im trying to think of a full example to give you the right idea. Off the top of my head…. :
Farmer Bob has found a way to bring people into his own dreams using a smoothie made from some strange fruit he picked while exploring Kryta. But things arent all peachy (get it?!) when you get in there… the Risen goddess ‘BlahBlah’ finds a way of infiltrating the shared dream and sets about destroying everyone she comes across with her Risen army. You complete the chain, kill her, save Farmer Bob and he gives you some scrap weapon he found while ploughing his fields- the ‘broken’ exotic.
‘Broken’ exotics cannot be equipped and are Soulbound. But they can be thrown in the Mystic Forge. You could say they have some sort of aura inside of them that binds to you and gives a slightly higher chance of an ACCOUNTBOUND pre-legendary. If not you get a single exotic which you can then sell to buy the other mats. Flooding the market with new exotics? Nope- If you only get one smoothie every 3 days thats 12 days per new exotic/character(or account).
So im open to hear flaws in the above idea. There’s probably plenty so feel free to criticise.

This is just me being lazy, I know! I figured id post ahead of time so that if there are some like-minded people out there, maybe on different servers), I can appeal to them. Gandara isnt exactly buzzing nowadays- some dungeons are empty. Last time I checked CM was avoided like the plague as many do not like it. I just want it for my collection….actually, thinking about it, I want the Heavy Legs from CM. Argh…6 runs it is then!

Ok so I have my own Youtube channel (like who doesnt these days!)(Pandacollective) and want to record one of each run for it. Its more for me than anyone else…i’ve got a thing about half-finishing content. I need them ALL kitten !
Anyway I could stand for hours on a Gandara map and shout my kitten off or I can post here. To complete my collection I need the following:
Ascalonian Catacombs – Story, Hodgins, Tzark (have done all explore, just not recorded)
Caudecus’s Manor – Butler, Asura, Sereph
Twilight Arbor – Story, Vevina (have done Vevina, just not recorded)
Sorrow’s Embrace – Fergg (have done, just not recorded)
Citadel of Flame – Ferrah, Magg, Rhiannon (have only done two of these once)
Honor of the Waves – Story, Plunderer, Zealot (have done all explore, just not recorded)
Crucible of Eternity – Story
The Ruined City of Arah – Story, Forgotten, Jotun, Mursatt, Seer
If anyone is interested in running these let me know. Ideally 80s but other than that no elitist BS (although if the group cannot gel I normally leave the party at the start of the dungeon to let the others easily recruit). Must be willing to watch cut scenes! Half of these I completed but didnt manage to record because some idiot in the party refused to let me view the cut scenes. Oh, and im by no means a great player! Im a Axe+Shield/Rifle warrior spec’d for dungeons but im still a little squishy. I dont mind missing out basic/silver mobs so long as its not an exploit and is just to save some time.
Lastly I recognise that I will need some prior ‘training’ for Arah so will watch some videos in advance. If anyone is interested im free tomorrow(Friday) onwards (1pm-3am GMT- I sleep late) and will delete the dungeons from this thread once completed.

My channel: http://www.youtube.com/pandacollective
Why hello thar! When GW2 launched I chose to make it the first game I recorded for a brand new Youtube channel. Im two months down the line and the channel is running relatively smoothly but I am lacking in the subs department. A good proportion of my videos have commentary- I figured that with the sheer amount of GW2 videos posted id have more of a chance if I use my winning personality (or lack thereof!) to pull the viewers in.
In the future I hope to cover more than just Guild Wars 2 and BL2. I plan on doing a series called ‘The first few hours of…’ where I will play games that I might not normally play in the hope that I can get some half decent reaction videos. If the videos become ‘popular’ then I might carry on playing the game in question. But being that I’m not sure I should be advertising this fact on the GW2 noticeboard I’ll shut-up and just ask that you watch a few of my videos and give me some pointers!
I know that I’ve got a long way to go and that at times my mic work could be considered poor. Ive noticed that I occasionally sound tired and are trying to rectify this. I have also chosen to avoid making informative videos such as guides and reviews due to the fact that I’m simply not knowledgeable enough about the games industry and the games that I’m playing. I guess my Vista and Jumping Puzzle videos could act as guides by saying ’Don’t do what I do!’ But in all seriousness I’m a dumb gamer and want to market myself as one!
Ok so after that essay we get to the real reason why Ive posted- I’m interested to know ways that I can improve with regards to my role as a ’Let’s Play’ speaker and whether there are any improvements I can make with regards to the production of the videos. Feel free to be brutally honest so long as its part of constructive criticism. Bare in mind however that my earlier videos (especially my very first) were not that great at all. Do you think my channel would benefit making my videos a little more informative or should I stay down the ‘silly route’? I am now two months in and feel its about time I sought advice as to how I can improve and move the channel forward. Thanks in advance guys and gals.

I watched the ‘New Content’ interview with one of the devs- The Lost Shore will be an instanced Island map like that of the Halloween Labyrinth. Events, puzzles and stories will take place on the island over the course of the weekend and it will culminate in existing maps being changed in some way. There was nothing mentioned of permanent new map so im not expecting one to be introduced (although a new 80 zone would be great!).
Also confirmed is a ‘super-dungeon’ (my words not theirs!)- its a brand new dungeon that is designed to be a lot longer than regular dungeons. The difficulty starts off easy and ramps up harder and harder the closer to the end you get. The final boss/chest/whatever will drop loot that is either not available anywhere else or not readily available outside of the dungeon. Im thinking gem store items such as the Mad King’s Dungeon chest had but im hoping for something more.
Retired and living in a shack. Relaxing!
From the information ive read so far the Lost Shores will be a instanced island map similar to the Halloween Labyrinth map. There will be a storyline over the relevant weekend culminating in one or more maps changing to incorporate new content. This new content will most likely be a change in scenery and mobs in certain areas and may include a new world boss.
As a result the exploration side of things should be unaffected as there are no new permanent maps. But all of the above is speculation based on a few sentences and past events in WoW (that I didnt take part in) so I could be wrong.
Note: Im not including the new dungeon in this. I presume it will be available on an existing map.

I personally think that the sole purpose of playing post-80 outside of ‘experiencing all content’ is making a character that you are completely happy with. Its all about the aesthetics and I realised a fair few weeks ago that I didnt need a legendary weapon to look the way I want to. My view is that in a few months time each server will have a fair few players with legendary weapons and all the effort put into getting the legendary will seem more of a waste of time than anything else.
In my eyes I want my character to look unique or as close to it as possible. I have therefore stayed away from full armour sets, stayed away from the common set pieces and have created what I feel is a character with something special. She has cultural parts that remind me where she’s come from, dungeon parts that remind me of what she has done, weapon skins that remind me of tasks that I have completed and colours that I picked more at random than anything (accidentally picking certain dyes and seeing that they work well). All have come together to give my character…character I guess! This is what I feel most should strive for- to create a character that doesnt just look ‘cool’ but represents what they have achieved. I facepalm everytime I see people with an Abyss coloured CoF set.
If you are thinking about getting a legendary but arent sure my advice is this- if youre doing it because its the cool thing to do or you think your character will look good with it dont bother. You can get 95% of the pleasure(looks) with 1% of the effort by buying a ‘named exotic’. If however you know youre going to look at it and remember what it took to get it and appreciate it for more than just the looks go get one but please dont grind constantly. Youll tire of the game after a very short time, itll become boring and youll end up with a legendary but no game to play with it on.

My two cents(pennies, whatever!):
Its an unusual time for me in GW2. I’m so used to the max level and equipment grind that many other MMOs employ. So used to it in fact that I enjoyed grinding the same area to death. Put some music on and so long as I could see I was getting somewhere it was enjoyable for me. Now a week or so back I reached the point where I was happy with my character. I decided early on not to try for a Legendary because I saw very little plus points to owning one other than bragging rights and i’m not a showy person. I figure in a few months they’ll be commonplace and i’ll no longer feel special. Because of that I now like the unique look of my character, am full exotic and am other really requiring a second Bloodlust axe to build up Power faster in WvW. I could buy one but I may as well farm one from a dungeon. I’ve got 100% world completion and all that shiz so what is keeping me playing?
Well apart from the fact im recording Jumping puzzles for my Youtube channel not much except for the love of the game really. That is the point. If you enjoy grinding then grind your kitten off! If you want a legendary but dont enjoy grinding then take it easy and youll get there eventually. You should be enjoying yourself at every stage of the game and I think GW2 enables you to do that.
So many people are fixated on being the best but that isnt possible in GW2 outside of PvP. So many people are fixated on farming for gold but for what? I have XXg sitting in my account with nothing but fun to spend it on…this is a different breed of MMO and you cant really compare it directly to others. I see this as a good thing. I’ve got literally no need to grind and although I do enjoy it im happy that I dont have to as I can play other games, have a life outside of an MMO. Past MMOs I didnt want to sleep for longer than 4-5hrs a night because I could be spending that time farming. GW2 is the first ive played where im happy to get a good nights sleep.
One final thing- everyone keeps mentioning…or more precisely giving advice to ArenaNET on how they need to be running their business but there are two important things you are forgetting. The first is that its been less than 3 months since launch. If GW2 is going to be as popular as predicted we can expect a few years of content ahead of us and IF there is a problem dont sweat it, ArenaNET will see that problem and aim to correct it. They have more invested in this game than we do. Secondly…do you really think that they employ idiots? Those in all the relavent departments are the cream of the crop and they will do whatever it takes to make this game the best it can be. It may take longer than some people would hope but as I mentioned before, they have more tied up in this than we do and the top dogs over there will have employed the best people for the job. What if their grand scheme for the gem store isnt constant sales, its a huge influx of buyers at key events where they make their money? We saw it at the Halloween event, its sure to happen again.
Trust in the powers that be to bring the best that they can and stop moaning! The game is still in the infant stage…plenty more to come which is why im happy to stick around.
Retired and living in a shack. Relaxing!
First off there’s no issue with the chest in the dungeon. Saying its hard to get to is like saying its hard to sit on a chair because the cat is there.
As for the topic of jumping puzzles I really wish people would understand why they are in the game. It is content that is quick to make, imaginative and provides the vast majority with a challenge, some fun or both. Its free content and still people complain. If you dont like jumping puzzles dont do them! You get a silly achievement and (for all except Clocktower) a bunch of green loot so its not like those that can do them are somehow gaining a headstart. I get frustrated, I swear and curse at the screen and some are downright horrible to do…but overall im having a lot of fun. Took me 4 hours to do the Clocktower but I did it and the sense of achievement was awesome because I made up my mind that I was going to do it and wouldnt stop until I got through it. Its the same but on a smaller scale with the smaller puzzles.
In summary: why criticise free content? Personally I think the powers that be deserve a rather large pint of beer for their work up to and including the Halloween event. I have never seen this amount of detail and love put into free content in any game. Sure things havent been 100% perfect (IMO Clocktower should have an easy mode for example) but if this is the amount of effort put into every event…this game has very easily paid for itself and i’ll be happy to buy future expansions. Its pretty much at the “Shut up and take my money!” stage already….

I posted on another thread but i’ll post again here- I spent four hours total attempting it and was an the end of my tether, coming onto these forums and complaining like so many others. I gave it a rest for a day and came back. 1 hour later still nothing. Im really not great at jumping puzzles without the added problem of it being timed. Had a break, kicked some MK bottom and in a break between parties tried again. Fifth run I did it.
The point im trying to make is this- dont grind it for longer than a few hours because you get tired and it hinders you. Take a break, relax, release all the pent up aggression and actually ask yourself why you want to complete it. All you get is a meaningless achievement and some boots which look awful and you cannot sell as theyre soulbound. If like me you dont want to give up keep at it. I can 100% assure you that when you get up there your heart will be beating so hard it’ll be coming out of your chest, you’ll be a mess of tears lying on the floor. But that feeling…it may only be a game but as feelings go it was one of pure awesome.
Im never going back there again…but four hours of trying and it was worth it.

Finished the dungeon, waited for the reward to pop up but alas it didnt. After 10 minutes waiting we went back and killed all of the gold boss mobs to make sure we hadnt missed anything. Still nothing. Was due to get 60 tokens for first run of day.

Screenie shows that the dungeon has been completed but ther’s no tokens in my inventory and no ‘leave instance’ icon.
Also upon leaving the party to exit I was booted from the server and had issues logging back in. This was predicted by one of the party members who said it was a known bug of dungeons that COULD affect rewards.

As the title says really. Have placed it on my Warhorn(offhand) and am using Axe with Bloodlust sigil in main. A bug or have I overlooked something? The sigils should work together right?

Thanks for making it so that we can see more than ten items under the buy/sell/sold tabs however any chance that the times of the purchases/sales can be fixed? Also when you list by item name/price/rarity etc it only rearranges the ten items on that page, not the entire list.

Another shout for the disappearing search and the ‘only ten items’ bug.

I buy a lot of items in game and I also sell a lot. As a result ive got a lot of custom orders placed. However only the latest ten orders/buys/sells are listed and there’s no scroll bar or second tab.
Any idea of when we can expect a fix?

Im missing around 3g 70s worth of stuff…
Seriously cannot understand why there are bugs like this over a week into the game. How many months did they have to iron out the issues? How many beta weekends and stress tests? Bugs on the first few days of launch okay but over a week in is a disastrous launch

The trading post is back up and ive a lot of rubbish in my ‘pick-up’ tab…but they dont add up to what was spent!

Thanks for the prompt reply. Ive heard tales of players waiting 6 days without a reply for their ticket so I really do not want the same thing to happen. This issue is pretty much ruining the game for me and thats not something id like to admit after paying a lot of money for it.

I apologise if its been mentioned before but after waiting 10 hours for my support ticket to be answered I just want a ‘we are looking into your issue’.
Earlier today the trading post bugged out and made it look as though people wasnt buying anything. The ‘buy’ button greyed out and nothing appeared under the ‘items ive bought’ tab. Well I assumed I needed to press the button a couple of times, and relogged and pressed a few more. Still nothing. Then I saw my money go from 4g to 5s in a matter of seconds.
10 hours later I have no money back and no items to pick up. Is this issue still being dealt with? If so id like to make sure that I dont actually receive all the items im meant to have bought. I just want my gold back and to start again because this whole issue has messed up my day. I was due to go to a dungeon with my guild but now cant afford a new armour set to do so. I also planned to craft for a large part of today but havent been able to due to lack of money.

Tried buying some items…didnt work. Tried again…didnt work. Oh look, my money is going down and down and down. Bam, no money, no items.
Same issue as you guys but I face having a hundred of an item I cant use at the end of it. Will I be getting my gold back or the useless items?
