So in the end, your background, choices friends and order are…meaningless?
That’s a big letdown…
The bit that was a big letdown for me was the fact that the big help comes from a Sylvari (guess the other races really are useless) but then we also have to go to the tree.
I mean come on, if I wanted to play a Sylvari, I’d have rolled one. Did you HAVE to force one on us, AND force us to hug the pale tree?
Why not let your starter quests’ companion, or maybe your race’s hero join you instead?
It seems that in general, the personal story gets tougher when your armor decreases. It’s pretty hard to stay alive long enough when you get swarmed by enemies all the time.
All warriors I’ve met claim the game’s almost brainlessly easy, while the casters keep shouting that they hardly get a spell off before they’re downed.
Well, apparently you can actually see the enemies lying on the ground. However, that doesn’t mean they won’t follow you…even when I died and respawned at the checkpoint, the enemies travelled with me.
Like having to play through the Sylvari bit wasn’t bad enough…
Well, my human apparently has also experienced the dream…
I just got kicked by a mission that respawned enemies every 15 seconds, and they kept following me through the entire instance.
Yes, they should be removed asap.
ASAP!
I just ‘tried’ to play the tree dream part. Tried, because I had no other choice but to keep running. The enemies spawned at insane rates, kept following me EVERYWHERE, and I couldn’t stop moving to attack anything because I got swarmed and beaten.
How on earth are you supposed to beat those things? As an elementalist, I get shredded before I can even try something and Treebeard just stands around doing nothing.
Check your home district. There should be a priest in the market area somewhere that changes based on what you selected.
